On decred's brazilian facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/ already there are many people trading goods and services for decred.
if more people do the same for decred in their countries, soon all of us who are here now, will be much more rich  Grin
It would be great if in the future be developed a decentralized market running on blockchain of the currency.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/

blah blah shit blah blah
blah blah blah lie blah

LOL you're a moron.
All members of that group are also members of "Bitcoin Brasil" facebook group with more than 16,000 members. https://www.facebook.com/groups/btcbr/
As I said before, about 200 people participated in the airdrop in Brazil.
Most didn't sell their decreds and bought more.
And most of the other 400, bought decred.
Bleutrade, the first exchange to add decred, did it following a request of mine. The volume in the first week was 400 BTCS daily.

Welcome to my Moron Timeline: (all times CST)

January 09, 2016, 07:52:49 PM: Announcing the creation of the Brazilian Decred Facebook page, already enjoying over a 100 members after going live ~4 hours earlier, with the members most likely coming from the Brazilian Bitcoin Facebook page having more than 16,000 members.

I created a group on Facebook to discuss everything about DECRED https://www.facebook.com/groups/975727812500893/

I also created a brazilian group there are only 4 hours and it is already more than 100 members https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/

Let's work together to do DECRED become the number 1.

January 13, 2016, 10:40:41 AM: Less than 4 days later, less than 100 new members joined the Brazilian Decred Facebook page, bringing the total up to 200 members, ALL of them "really interested in investing in that currency." I'd say that if ALL of them are "really" interested in investing, then they ALL would've been smart enough to take advantage of the airdrop which will closed its signup process in 5 days (January 18, 2016).

It was asked by the dev who created the first optimized miner for X11, on brazilian facebook decred group that already has 200 members for now (and growing). All of then really interested in investing in that currency.

He wondered if was some technical reason for the choice of blake256 instead the sha3 winner which is keccak.
There are in decred technical brief the advantages in relation to SHA2, but not in relation to sha3.

Here's the original question in brazilian portuguese: https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/permalink/667072613434851/?comment_id=667131273428985&reply_comment_id=667136583428454&comment_tracking=%7B"tn"%3A"R9"%7D

Thanks

Jan 25, 2016: 5.7% of 3,244 = 185.

https://forum.decred.org/threads/airdrop-rundown.313/

Around 200 people received the airdrop in brazil

EDIT: take a look at our facebook group with more than 500 members (and growing).
most of us will hold for the long term and bought more https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/

How is it that on January 13 there were right at 200 diehard Brazilian Decred fans ready to buy DCR, expressing that they're going to take advantage of the airdrop, but come 12 days later on the 25th we were presented with ONLY 185 Brazilians taking advantage of the airdrop?

Is it possible that exponential growth ceases to exist upon reaching a certain threshold in Brazil?

January 9, 2016: >100 Brazilians are taking advantage of the airdrop in the first 4 hours.
January 13, 2016: 200 Brazilians are taking advantage of the airdrop.
January 25, 2016: 185 Brazilians took advantage of the airdrop.
February 14, 2016: >500 Brazilians became members of the Brazilian Decred FB page, most going to buy DCR.
Today: Slightly over 600 Brazilians are members of the Brazilian Decred FB page.

Is it possible that Brazil sits onto some sort of Just Kidding Vortex (JKV)?

If you don't believe me, take a look yourselves, including fudder members, unless you're a fudder member, then you won't be able to view the Facebook page entitled "Welcome to JKV": https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/

what's up with all this noise? you two should get your own thread for your little love affair.

Does "noise" = "facts" or are you just kidding?

I'll let the decred's brazilian facebook group open to the public for some days so that fudder members of bctalk can take a look

As I said before, I left open the facebook group for those who want to check if it is legit or not. https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/
I'm blocking all the bctalk fudder members, troll members and moron members.
They are extremely tiring.

I thought I heard that record before. BTW, what's the Brazilian or Portuguese word for Inaba?

Next question: How much longer is Decred going to retain you as their spokesperson?

Now, where have I heard that before? Oh, I remember:

Nemesis is correct. There are a number of orders that are before the first Bitpay order, dating back well before #1600.  Garr, you can officially piss off at this point and take your accusations and stick them straight up your ass.  I tried to be nice and I wanted to help you and you give me all sorts of shit and accusations.  This is why we no longer give a shit about this forum;  Everyone here is monumental assholes, no matter how accommodating one tries to be.  Garr, you'll get your order when it comes up in the queue, I'm done looking into your problems or trying to help you.

Are there any other pages that Decred is taking out of BFL's handbook entitled "How to Alienate Friends and Your Customer Base by Calling Them Morons Monumental Assholes Without Even Trying".

Feel free to set me straight that calling me and others 'morons' is the Brazilian way to be kidding. That, and blocking all the bctalk fudder members, troll members and moron members from the Brazilian Decred Facebook in spite of it being them that you would want to read it, for I have yet to see many, if any, of those who are members on said FB page coming here to help you set the record straight.

Is there a command to change the wallets password or do you have to create a new wallet and import the seed?
Code:
dcrctl --wallet walletpassphrasechange "oldpassphrase" "newpassphrase"

Something like that.

LOL moron, that was a kidding about satoshi  Roll Eyes
and your google translator makes me laugh harder

And about portuguese section of this forum, i am brazilian and don't look that area.

I can guarantee that all members of the decred brazilian facebook group who enrolled in the airdrop received their coins.
About 15% lost their seeds.
Most will save the airdrop to believe in the future of decred.
Most of these people aren't bctalk members.
Most of the participants are buying more coins and around 400 who didn't participate too.
Or if you don't believe me, you can check with your own eyes and google translator https://www.facebook.com/groups/667062416769204/

Cara, uma moeda criada por devs do bitcoin tem um potencial enorme. Alguns dos caras trabalharam junto com o satoshi antes dele sumir. Acho que nao precisa falar mais nada.

Face, a currency created by Devs of Bitcoin has huge potential. Some of the guys have worked along with the satoshi before him disappear. I don't think you need to talk about something else.

Here's Google's translation:

It's not my Google translation but Facebook's translation, albeit they may or may not be utilizing Google's translation services.

Look dude, I have to admit that I'm not versed in Brazilian ways and all, so I guess it's quite possible that you were kidding sans the use of a smiley when talking to fellow Brazilians about doling out moneys while pretending that the devs of Decred once worked alongside Satoshi Nakamoto.

BTW, is it common in Brazil when a person ask a question or expresses a concern to first reply with "LOL You're a Moron"?

Do these steps go up?
LOL You're a moron! No, they only go down.
HAHAHA. You're kidding, right?

So most of your online forum comments / buzz is in Portuguese?

Searching the word decred, the only Portuguese threads on bitcointalk that mention decred are
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wsj-divergencias-tecnicas-ameacam-futuro-da-bitcoin-1345277
and
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/por-que-o-btc-vai-subir-de-preco-se-as-altcoins-se-mostram-opcoes-viaveis-1317880

https://forum.decred.org/ has a Portuguese section. Picking one name at random Hugo Abreu Simões, google sends a person to

https://forum.decred.org/members/hugo-abreu-sim%C3%B5es.449/ first, and https://twitter.com/hashugo second. A twitter profile created in March 2010 but with only two tweets, today and 4 days ago.

Sure, it's possible. Can a person ask why the premine fanatics at decred chose Brazil?

If you have a bunch of time on your hands, read all the posts about Decred in the Portuguese section of this forum. I'd say put aside at least an hour, albeit the onus is on you as to what to do with the remaining 59 minutes and 42 seconds, more if you're a fast reader with a high-speed connection. Worst case scenario, you'll have to figure out what to do with the remaining 58 minutes.

The following is sourced elsewhere, including the translation, leaving up to you guys to declare if it's authentic or not.
