Thanks for your help djnocide. Appreciated that.

Unfortunately there is NO einsteinium.conf under my roaming einsteinium folder. I can create one, but what to put in it?

I deleted peers.da file and restarted wallet; same error :-(

There is no router, no firewall nothing blocking wallet to cloud.

Please help.
My local windows 32 bit desktop wallet cannot sync. For example it's complaining "No Block Source Available"
Einsteinium Version: v0.87.1-unk-beta

the .conf file should look like this

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=41879
port=41878
maxconnections=100

I am a new investor. I bought couple of 100's EMC2 coins lately.

I need help here!!
My local windows 32 bit desktop wallet cannot sync. For example it's complaining "No Block Source Available"
Einsteinium Version: v0.87.1-unk-beta.

It happened to other members too, i hope it can help

Ok, what did you call your .conf file exactly? Make sure it is named einsteinium.conf, & delete your peers.dat file, then relaunch the client. It should connect. If not, you may need to try port forwarding on your router. Also check to make sure your AV program isn't blocking it.

I am just wondering what the spike is all about?   I am not complaining as I have held this coin forever.... but what is so different from before and now?

Just cause we say we are top 10 are we top 10 lol

sent PM

I believe the "spike" was someone wanting in NOW, not over 5 hours, the balance of a day, or by the end of the week, but now!   I believe I know who it was, and if I'm right the coins are in good hands.

As for the rankings, by all reasonable expectations we should be in the top 100 by this time next week.   The top 10 is a different story but when we get there it should be no surprise to anyone who is currently holding EMC2.

We know what it takes to get to the top 10 and we are doing the right things and making the right connections to get there.

Everyday more and more people in the cryptocurrency community at large are learning about  EMC2, as they learn of us our specific audience increases, as our audience increases the probability for investment in EMC2 increases -- regardless of price level.

Those who are looking at charts to guide their investment decisions are noticing EMC2.
Those who are looking at growth are noticing EMC2
and
Those who are looking at managerial vision are noticing EMC2
The more notice we receive the greater the likelihood we will receive investment support.

Everyday we are going to various coin communities making connections, we are reaching out to cause-coin communities (~8), we are reaching out to coins repeatedly victimized by PND scam artists (~7), and we are reaching out coins that are 10 above and 10 below us on the market cap ranking list.  These are targets for our first round of outreach because we've determined that our coin has the most in common with them.  We believe we should be able to easier connect with them.

Our outreach is effective we are making connection, forming relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.  In addition to coin community contacts we are also connecting with a whole host of contractors from all ends of the CC sector, including but not limited to, coders, designers, marketers, and investment advisers.   Much of the concentrated proof is vested in the content history of Einsteinium.biz.

EMC2 is getting stronger and stronger in a truly meaningful way everyday.

Might be someone who decided to buy at that time, it's the same for big drops where there's no reason except someone who wanted to get out(sold his coins). Let's just hope the price will continue to rise without too much big spike (rise or drop).

Hello all!  Been mining EMC2 on and off and I wanted to drop by and say how happy I am to see the community still up and going.  Until now I didn't know this.  Might be a good idea for the community to advertise EMC2 and its benefits to the rest of the community.  Getting the word out will help with marketcap and trade volume.  Getting onto Polo was also a very good decision.

Because the community is still very active, there is trade volume and increasing investor confidence I will be mining this coin more often than I was before.  This initial round I plan to keep mining for an entire week and will see how things turn out from there.

Keep up the good work!

Rank is improving, from 127 to 109  in 4 days.   Did you see that Cryptsy spike worth 1M EMC2?

Only 9 more till we are in the Top 100

Please recommend Science projects to the board for grant consideration.

Glad to see coin is in good hands.

Keep doing great job team! Smiley

Almond's and Varvarin's ideas are nice. I hope with more community involvement and bright ideas like these, the future of EMC2 will shape very good. I'm happy to see such a community committed to the coin.

Agreed, thanks for your ongoing support and encouragement.

I made three improvements to the Trust system:

Firstly, there is now a neutral rating type. Neutral ratings don't affect a person's trust score at all. On a person's trust page, positive ratings are bold, neutral ratings are italic, and negative ratings are red bold-italic.

Secondly, it is now possible to exclude users in your trust list. Prefix a person's name with a tilde character (~) if you want to exclude them. If you exclude someone, then you will never see that person's ratings as trusted, even if the person is trusted by other people in your trust network.

Exclusions also travel through the trust network. If one person in your trust network trusts someone and another person excludes them, then whether or not they're seen as trusted for you is decided using these rules:
1. If someone at a lower depth (ie, closer to your trust list) disagrees with someone at a higher depth, then the person at the lowest depth wins. Due to this, no one can overrule anything you put in your trust list directly.
2. If multiple people at the same depth disagree, then the rating type that is most popular among these people wins. For example, say that you have three people in your trust list. If two of them trust someone and one of them excludes that person, then the person will not be excluded.
3. If an equal number of people at the same depth include and exclude a person, then the person will be included.

Finally, I added an easier-to-understand way of viewing your trust network to the trust settings page. The number in parentheses is the number of people in the preceding (lower) depth level who trust the person minus the number of people at the preceding depth level who exclude that person. This view contains slightly less information than the hierarchical view -- there's a link to the old view at the bottom of the trust settings page.

Also, the maximum trust depth is now 4 instead of 3, though it's probably still not a good idea to go above 2.

on a completely separate note please support EMC2 here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827426.msg9459470;topicseen#msg9459470  with your vote.
Utility is the fastest way to increased equity value.   The more places that accept and use EMC2 the stronger the CC will be.
