i read all your posts, and i am a big holder , now i hold 5.2M emc2 and i never sell my stake min 1K sat, and if you want to sell your coins just sell, i am collecting your cheap coins ,

Very much agreed, that's I'm trying get some clear facts and answers so we can move forward with real plans and strategy. We really need to decide on an algorithm switch and a new system for scientific donation, that is what is most important at this stage.

My views about their community effort changing its name is warranted from all the confusion I've been receiving. If it were up to me I would merge and market both entities as one. Otherwise there will be a separate route taken.

djnocide, to answer your question from the PM.. It would not be too difficult to change algorithms at this point. I will be setting up some kind of poling option soon to see where everyone stands. Personally, I'm split between x11, x13, and pure PoS. The other options will also be listed in the poll which I will post within the next hours when I get back home.

Do you guys realize that the little power fight you are having right now is doing more harm than good to this coin you care about?? Why don't you realize that the more you'll be doing this the closer you'll bring this coin to his death. The second foundation was created to bring solutions to a sinking coin that we want to succeed. Why can't both foundation work on their side but still talk to each other to find the best way to put emc2 back on it's feet?. It looks like 12yrs old arguing. Nothing good for the coin.

Anyone is welcomed to bring solutions to help the coin. If you can't grow up and show some maturity, you'll be the reason why emc2 will die. You got 2 options. It can happen to disagree with others on a lot of things but right now we have to put this aside and work together.

So are we starting to work on the revival of emc2 or we let it die from internal fights?

 



 

#1. The "Elections" for ECAP or the new community foundation effort were never officially sponsored for the creators of EMC2. Also, the election process took place over a few days at a point that I was out travelling.

#2. The value plummeted because of big money holders cashing out due to the slander of ex-team member. Other members who felt closer with Science instead of cryptoGames decided not to keep playing along. I am now stepping up from an extremely minimal role in the coin to usher in some new changes, updates, and systems of donation. I've also began to boost the price on poloniex with small buy walls which is why the value has began to rise over the past week. I've now pulled that buy support to see what effect the community effort is having.

#3. There is no pre-mine.

Unfortunately you have provided no proof that EMC2 market value has anything to do with The EMC2 Foundation.  You have also not answered any of my other questions. I support this coin and what it stands for, donation to scientific research. I understand you are upset with the Einsteinium Foundation members but aligning me with them and resorting to blaming me for the devaluation of this coin is not the way to help the community or prove your leadership skills with EMC2 Foundation. I had legitimate questions about the EMC2 Foundation and concerns about the future plan for Einsteinium. I really wish you could have addressed them. My relentless push as you called it consisted of these posts.

One was about trying to grow the IRC channel.

I believe in this coin I think we can rebuild some stronger legs and move on from this! Looking at how we can get this coin back out in the community!

ahumanbeingx, is there any particular reason you didnt put yourself forward for a position on the board while the elections were still open?

Secondly, in view of the fact the value of EMC2 plummeted under the 'leadership' of the old foundation (of which you were a member), I'm curious as to how you being a member of the new foundation would be in the interests of EMC2 (ignoring the fact you hold some of the original pre-mine)?

~93% of EMC2's value was lost in 2 months at the hands of The Einsteinium Foundation, over that time it was clear to many (perhaps even to many within that foundation) that they didn't know what they needed to know to get EMC2 going in the right direction.  

The nose dive stopped when The EMC2 Foundation election results were certified.   EMC2 market value started its climb as The EMC2 Foundation was forming, I don't see that as coincidental.  

I realize that you are aligned with The Einsteinium Foundation as one of the ops at the #EinsteiniumFoundation IRC Channel, so I expect you to be zealous in their defense,  however do you want to go back to the nose-dive state we were in?

Your relentless push to have EMC2 owners move from this forum to IRC likely contributed to the dilution of interest in the coin and the accelerated devaluation of the coin in those last days.  The same rational applies to EMC2 being on so many exchanges, the volume simply dosen't warrant it, the dilution of interests hurt the coin.   Sometimes too much is too much.

Community, let's start hearing some new ideas on how we can donate to science without cashing out EMC2 on the exchanges. I'd like to make this a top priority so I can start looking for the talent to put a new system in place. Donating to science is the #1 reason to use EMC2.

1) The EMC2 Foundation is a foundation created by the owners of EMC2 for the EMC2 investor community
2) The EMC2 Foundation has a duly elected board birthed from the community.  An election noticed to the community for participation. 
3) The EMC2 Foundation reserves the right to name itself, if either of you want to head up a 'EMC2 renaming committee' you are invited to apply for chairmanship of that committee.   If you do, here's my suggestion for the new name, "The NEW Foundation"
4) The foundation names have nothing to do with the devaluation of EMC2 over the past two months, however the efforts of The EMC2 Foundation (aka The NEW Foundation) has put a halt to the nose dive.   https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7222101  Gone is the day of 68 sat EMC2, gone is the day of 80 sat high for the day, and gone is the day of .662 whole day volume. 

Improving the value of EMC2 is what The EMC2 Foundation is primarily about, both of you are invited to play a critical role in the success of EMC2. 

The NEW Foundation has assumed most of the heavy lifting tasks (preservation and increase of EMC2 value) of the old foundation, allowing the old foundation to focus its energies on the light lifting tasks of: automatic tax collecting, shopping for projects to fund, and spending money.   Sadly the old foundation is behind in shopping for projects and  spending money, but does have the time to critic names.

The EMC2 Foundation is days old with a record of success, we are identifying issues of major concern to the EMC2 community, we are prioritizing those concerns based on a core objective -- to strengthen EMC2's value, and we are doing the things necessary to achieve our objectives.   

Again, I extend to both of you a personal invitation to play a pivotal role in the NEW successes that are forthcoming for EMC2.
