Howdy!

Don't mind me over here resurrecting a dead thread.

Burnside, I mined with your pool back in 2013, is there any way that you still have records kicking around on how much LTC I mined, and the address it was sent to? I would have just PM'ed you, but unfortunately you have it set so newbies cant PM.

No problem!  I've been getting quite a few requests like this lately.

I don't have the server around anymore. Sad  I tried to keep it going but it was already a used server and the drive ended up refusing to boot after a patch/reboot cycle.  90 days later the backups would have rotated out on the backup service.  I have the code in a separate svn repo, but not the db, wallet, server configs, etc.

Balances above the litecoin transaction fee at the time should have been sent to the addresses on file using the auto-withdraw system.  I remember doing a litecoind upgrade even after shutting down so I could process more withdrawals and save people some change.

Cheers

Another newbie here looking for lost treasure. I'm kind of clueless as to what any of that means, but I'm taking it that there really isn't a way to recover an old address from your old code that you have saved? I don't really think that I have a lot of LTC but with the prices being so much higher than they were 6 years ago, I can't help but itch.

Thanks in advance if you get the time to respond.

Update,

    - all current PM's have been responded to.
    - the hot wallet has been replenished.

I am unable to withdraw my coins...help!
It requires a pin I don't recall ever setting one!

Signing up always required a PIN, but no worries, I got your PM and reset it for you.

Cheers.  Smiley

I wasn't even aware I had LTC there.
I mined there, when I started learning about the whole cryptocurrency-stuff more than a year ago.
Thanks for the mail Wink

Update,

Several people noticed that the balances in the email sent did not match up with their balances after logging in.  I dug into the code on my email script and it turns out the JOIN statement in the SQL query I was using was doing the join between the balance table and the users table on the incorrect columns.  (was doing the JOIN on the balance.id column, not the balance.userid column...)  So it was returning incorrect balances when I was generating the email and querying the DB.

Embarrassing.  I've queued up a new set of emails to go out.

Cheers.

No the cash out won't go through. Mine hasn't all day.

Sorry about that.  Had to top off the hot wallet again.  It should be good now.  I'll try to keep a closer eye on it.

I don't remember my authorization pin. What do I do?

Also, if people are looking new pools, check out http://sudopool.com, it's mine, and it a multipool that pays in ltc.

Anyone who doesn't remember their PIN, please PM me with your username.

It is a pity that the pool was closed. Let's move on https://lc.ozcoin.net/

Careful, that's run by Graet, who owes a lot of people on the forums a lot of coins... (See: graet.loan on Bitfunder.)

Cheers.

i have a small 0.0753 balance.
i tried a manual cashout, the webpage automatically refreshed
to show the .005 fee deducted and my balance is now .0703bunchofdust

a manual browser refresh of the webpage shows the full 0.0753 balance again!

perhaps the cashout will go through anyway?
something broken?

Thanks for the email on the site status. Looks like I can't withdraw my remaining funds due to having less than 1 ltc on the site. Is this something that you plan to change?

Thanks for sending out emails. I really appreciate it, and the upgrade to lower the withdrawal fee. I only had about 0.5LTC on the pool which i had completely forgot about.

Hi Burnside,
I understand that you Don't have the time to operate the pool as the full time business that it would need to become. I was wondering if it might be possible to keep some parts of it around. I really like the calculator. I use it almost daily to see if my rented hashing power is producing as it should I also still look to see when the difficulty will increase again. I was wondering if you could keep theese components around.
Thanks

Not a bad idea.  I could pretty easily move the site to shared hosting or a vps if it's not having to handle hashing.

I was also thinking about checking the source into sourceforge or github so anyone could have a copy and setup their own site.

I also would love to still have access to that great calculator.
I wanted to PM you to ask if you could share the code of that calculator, to check if I could make it run (for private use) on a shared hosting account I have.

Sad to know you will be closing, but I do fully understand where you're coming from - and it does really make sense.
Thanks for all the good work all those years!  (Well, it wasn't _that_ many years, but in crypto-world, that was aeons!  Wink  )

Hi all, just topped off the hot wallet.  It got pretty low today, sorry about that.

Thank you for your time & work on the matter. This goes without saying with your presence in the community.  Also many thanks for working out the reduction of the transaction fee! Cheers and good luck to you.

Thank you, definitely appreciate it.

I have a little problem with withdrawing ltc. My adress is locked but i dont know where is this adress from. Is there any way to unlock the payment adress so i could withdraw coins to adress i use now?

Can you PM me your username?  I can help you out with that.

Cheers.
