ALTCOM (SONO) is the live coin or not. This problem with bad chain split and if i buy now ALTCOM on yobit and send it in old wallet and then create wallet.dat and then install sono wallet. This coins is go in new chain? I dont want to do this i just want to know. I read few page but dont see this information just dont buy coins on yobit but what to be if you do this and save wallet? or old chain dont have hashrate???

Nah, all good. Wallet is updating after i created the config file.
Hope it will recognize my stakes too since i don`t see them coming in, but i have to update to the full chain first to tell exactly.

Technically it is not a swap, only rebranding complicated by a very unfortunate chain split. AFAIR, there is no deadline, at least for now.

Really? What should I do with my ALTCOM coins in old wallet? How to transfer them to new version of SONO wallet? Thank you.
If you want to transfer ALTCOM from an old wallet to SONO, all you need is to copy 'wallet.dat' file. See description of the first page: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.21047127.

No matter how long it is running, it just keeps saying 'Not staking'

Please try to read more about how staking of Sono/Altcom work. Need to pass 1440 blocks confirmation before staking. 180% year annually so each day with nearly 1440 blocks confirmation, you will get 0.49%. Right now MN reward takes 25% from PoS so your stake reward will be reduced, please keep this in mind.
But only if I move my coins to a new wallet it needs 1440 conf to mature again.

Well that is a big positive announcement from the devs
Seriously, today I asked devs how it looks. There is no definitive ETA, but according to Richy it should be matter of days to the announcement. Hope they are able to come out with a new fixed wallet as this waiting is very long. But if it's in a few days, i'm ok with it, better to have it fixed than make a mess again.

If anyone ever in discord and was before and after the rebrand know that Altcom IS Sono with the implement of the real MN feature, rebrand as intend for later SonoHub which also one of the selling point other than just 'MN and stake' like many coins out there.
Rebranding was OK and SonoHub was a good idea, but the chainsplit was a complete disaster and now there are absolutely no news from developers.

I really hate SONO project. The old coin ALTCOM was very promising but those useless devs did not know how to develop that coin. SO what's up with SONO. There is no future at all. They did not ask investors opinions regarding the coin's rebrand. Till now they even don't have a specific solution to fix the wrong chain. This is going to now where, no exchange, no development. But two separated coin.
It's been a week now and devs still keep in silent. There is no solution for fixing the wrong chain, What's next? how long do we have to wait ? Gunka ? Hamoni ? where are you guys. What did you promise us ? and now you run away with a big bag of our money. I want my money back, I feel regret investing in this no future coin.
