You cannot decide a coin by its wrapper you check the specification you get to know the value of the coin
Due to dumppers the value has decreased but surely it will increase......

When you download it for the first time it will take some time ,
For me it took an hour to sync , its a common issue
so don't worry it will take time but it will sync
