Also looks like the sellers have stopped selling for now. Next hurdle will be 40 cents as most new people have bought in around 20 cents these last few months.

I like that there continues to be world press releases about Solarcoin. Now seems to be a good time to buy.
As found on the slack channel, continued developments with Solarcoin include:
- Translation of the Solarcoin website into German
- Upgrading the QT wallet for beta testing should be finished shortly
I understand there is a lot more happening behind the scenes that is mostly unknown to the public. That may also be the reason for the recent all-time high and the current increase in buy support for SLR.
If anyone else has more updates/news regarding Solarcoin, I'd love to hear!
Also, Lykke exchange is expected to gain US licensure in the near future, and this will be a huge step forward for Solarcoin since SLR can be bought directly with USD through this exchange.

We have great hope for solarcoin, but an even larger project must be studied.
There is currently a major project in the field of chrypto energy, the latest ICO are demonstrating. I think there will be some new very quickly

The idea of this coin excites me. It is rare to find a coin with such a vision that actually does something good for humanity. I'm hoping that more and more long term holders and believers will be buying solarcoins and will thus give this coin the stable monetary foundation that is needed to help move this project to the next level. I see great potential for a stable future with solarcoin, especially as compared with all the other alt-coins on the market.

Wow, someone was really anxious to dump their coins even with the crazy influx of new buy orders. Hopefully this FUD/dumper will be all out of coins soon so SLR can continue the rally north.
They wont stop dumping crazy...

With how few coins are in circulation, the dumping can't last too long. Most of the big players only hold a few hundred thousand coins and the volume has been in the 500k+ range, which means I expect that whoever is dumping will likely be out of coins very shortly.

nobody knows whats going to happen next. You don't always need news for a dramatic price change. Crypto is not all about news. Did you see any news for europecoin, eboost, adx, trig or any other random coin that got pumped?
People will buy anything if they think they will make money off it.
The only good explanation for this price rise is the influx of new users and BTC trading volume. SLR was bound to get some of that volume at some point.

Totally in agreement with your response! Crypto is dynamic and evolving! I am sure in the future there will be some sort of checks and balances. But for now just buy the coin u believe in like RAD, RIVETZ, SOLAR etc..
I agree that it is entirely possible that it is a mere fluke, OR it could be possible that someone has some inside knowledge about a major event that hasn't yet hit the news or forums ... maybe we will see in the coming months.

We were ao worried about getting on Poloniex that Bittrex has surpassed Poloniex in volume and is having a billion dolllars a day flow through it. It was only a matter of time that a whale came along to test the waters. The dump followed so he might have been front loading for a couple of weeks. The price dropped below 9000 sat like a month ago. More than enough time to put a plan in action. Looks like 5000 sat is the nee floor now.

What is the reason behind this? I don't see any news that I can relate to the money flow in Bittrex so what dafuq is going on? Maybe something behind the curtains? It's a little sad tho that immediately after the "pump" a massive dump followed, which is normal I gues, but I hope this is the start to something big 
Maybe Nick can explain this? I just hope the majority of the people involved here will hold, because it will be pointless for us to get a new all time high and to see it gone in second only because some greedy bastard with a huge stash crashes the market...
