Just checked the rich list. Some of the wallets are never touched last 3 years. Maybe those people forgot that they have thousands of teslacoin.  Huh

You have to be in the block 1290918
same as here
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/#

if you put your mouse over the tick and it show your last block

About the rich list, I'm 99% sure they still remember they have them, but they're holding for the LONG TERM  Wink

oh i see how it is, you focus on the "99" percent, but the rest of us aren't important are we?!  Wink
No, he said he's 99% sure, not he only cares about 99%  Smiley

 NEW BOOTSTRAP

I've made this little list with instructions for each node and a bootstrap (block 1289443).

You can find the new bootstrap and the last wallet links down below.

We said to stop staking to avoid nodes moving ahead of the original blockchain, but it's not working.

So let's start staking everybody

Remember, you need to be in the same block as https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/#

If you're ahead of https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/#, use the bootstrap again.

Thanks for your support in this difficult times!!

Looks like blocks are not moving lately.  Sad

Well the devs have essentially asked us to stop staking so, yeah.  Though, as I've already pointed out, we can't get to the 1293600 without staking, which contradicts the claim that we can start staking at that point since we can't reach it without staking.  My guess would be they're working on it.

Not sure how you get 19 connectios, you should have only 3 peers all at 9.3.0

You're connecting to old wallets and might be for that   Huh

Gonna make a new bootstrap, so you can sync

If you look at each connection, there are wallets of different versions and block heights.  Its like all the wallet programs like each other even if they're on different forks which is really weird.

I erased everything in my teslacoin folder except my wallet.dat file and used the bootstrap. Then i erased even the new teslacoin.conf file (I had previously used the new one, this time i erased it so only the wallet would know what nodes to use).

It appears as though many of them are the same as my previous post, except that they have different port numbers.

Maybe your wallet.dat already forked. Do you have back up wallet.dat dated before wallet 3.3? I used wallet.dat from June. Now it's working without problems.
[/quote]

The wallet.dat shouldn't affect the which fork the wallet chooses.  Unless its been deliberately programmed to do so.

I'm now at block 1,289,155 while the explorer says we're at block 1,289,443.  So I'm off again.

The last block that has a hash that matches mine is 1,288,998.  The very next block, 1,288,999 does not have the same hash when comparing my wallet's blockchain and the explorer.

I didn't unlock the wallet, I have no staking being done.

I have 19 connections.

i deleted my block chain and reapplied the bootstrap and re-downloaded everything.  I'm at block 1,289,924, while the explorer says we're at 1,289,441.  I am now at around 500 blocks ahead.  I have not staked since the re-download.

BTW, how do we get to block 1,293,600 if no one is staking to create new blocks?

Here you have a point. However it seems that staking caused the forks, that's why we asked to not stake.

Again, I used the newest wallet, erased and re downloaded the block chain using the 7-9-2017 bootstrap and haven't unlocked my wallet/staked since to avoid it doing weird things.  I currently have 21 connections to the network.

The blockchain explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# currently claims the last block was 1289441 and that it happened at 2017-07-29 16:33:10 extracted by Proof of Stake.

Thanks for the info. Not sure why you have 21 connections. Could you please share your getpeerinfo?
Try to delete your teslacoin.conf file. The new wallet will automaticaly connect you to the right nodes

The underlying wallet program is supposed to pick the fork with the most units of "work" having been done, but it appears as though that is not happening.  Were it doing that, then the forks would be irrelevant.

I will erase the conf file and re-download and see if that makes the difference.

i deleted my block chain and reapplied the bootstrap and re-downloaded everything.

Try 32 bit. It's working fine. Don't stake till block 1,293,600.

The blockchain explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# currently claims the last block was 1289441 and that it happened at 2017-07-29 16:33:10 extracted by Proof of Stake.

Typing getmininginfo gives me:

getblockhash 1289441 (the most recent block according to the explorer) gvies me:

ff9562d0b86e970e7123d64b9c0d03d61b028f3a79c30951a7efbe30dc3375d2

getblockhash 1288942 (Just an example block; I went back to see how far back the fork goes) gives me:
Quote
d8c7f5a077fab4f10a174715aecc0a9a48578cc61e8c6c26eff3df5922eb56fc

getblockhash for 1289342 (another example block) gives me:

And now the solution:

getblockhash for 1289292 gives me:
Quote
4c86e66a9eadf40e6a397af986b7e6e46057352144a697661ec580de562acb4e

same as the block explorer at 2017-07-25 21:14:22 extracted by Proof of Stake

getblock hash for 1289293 (the very next block) gives me:

so that's where, it seems, our fork is, it starts at block 1,289,293.  Wonder which one is "correct."

getblock 41e73ddcc7603eca3b29356496a0971a530585738b2e0e6afd92a7deedcb8a43  (my wallet's block 1,289,293) gives me:

i deleted my block chain and reapplied the bootstrap and re-downloaded everything.  I'm at block 1,289,924, while the explorer says we're at 1,289,441.  I am now at around 500 blocks ahead.  I have not staked since the re-download.

BTW, how do we get to block 1,293,600 if no one is staking to create new blocks?

Before downloading the newest version of the wallet, I was at least a few hundred "blocks" short of the block explorer's declarations of where the chain was at yet I had about 20 connections.  Seemed odd.  I downloaded the new version of the wallet and it couldn't even download it from the network, it kept getting stuck (as usual, I really think this should get fixed, it just looks weird when the log file says it can't verify the hash for blocks and that's why it appears to be stopping, but the question is, what's wrong with those blocks that it won't accept them and I have to download the bootstrap?).  Then I used a bootstrap and downloaded the rest no problem. Now my wallet says I'm on block "1290827" when the explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tes/# says we're at "1289441" and I have ~20 connections again.  Supposedly there was one block today, but my wallet says there hasn't been one in two days.  How was I missing hundreds if not thousands of blocks and now I suddenly have over a thousand extra blocks and I'm not syncing?! And why do I have to "repair" my wallet each time I get a new version of the wallet, seems odd.

Oh, and the website doesn't specify the date for the new wallet (it just says something about downloading the newest wallet).  I only realized I needed to download a new wallet after visiting the twitter page.  I'm not, nor would I think others, would just decide "hey, let me download my wallet again just for kicks" if they were just looking at the webpage.  A date would really put it into perspective just in case someone didn't see the tweets.

Getinfo shows this: "errors" : "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers."

Please follow this instructions

If you keep having this problem,

HOW TO GET THE NEW WALLET RUNNING
You can choose from this 2 options: Swap or sync from last bootstrap

A) SWAP
1.1) In windows: Go to /users/(your username)/AppData/Roaming/Teslacoin and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld
1.2) In Mac: /users/(your username)/Library/Application Support and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld
1.3) In Linux:
2) Download the wallet from OP or website links
3) Make sure you're in v.3.3 (In your wallet go to: Help -> About Teslacoin). Close the wallet.
4) Since you have opened the new wallet, a new folder called Teslacoin has been created.
5) Copy the content of TeslacoinOld folder in the new Teslacoin folder
6) Open the wallet

B) SYNC FROM LAST BOOTSTRAP

1.1) In windows: Go to Roaming -> Teslacoin and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld
1.2) In Mac: /users/(your username)/Library/Application Support and rename the folder as TeslacoinOld
1.3) In Linux:
2)) Download the wallet from OP or website links
3) Make sure you're in v.3.3 (In your wallet go to: Help -> About Teslacoin). Close the wallet.

This coin is associated with auto Tesla?

Hope soon we'll become official coin of Tesla motors.

That would be amazing. What steps would it take to obtain that?

We need to follow the roadmap to increase the commmunity and value of Teslacoin.

Seems obvious they gonna start accepting Bitcoin but then if we have enought marketcap and a big community it's very posible we will be able to buy a Tesla with TES
