you can easily mine solo.
creating a pool is not trivial.
getwork method is the only one supported by ccminer.

The speed with which you can start solo?

Depends on your tastes but I'd say 1/100 of the network hashrate.
[/quote]
Now judging by the pool solo no!

supprnova pool is unstable - a lot of disconnects -( anyone know how to mine solo, or create a pool? I installed cryptonite wallet, but it seems that it accept miners over old getwork protocol(??) which is deprecated ?

Hmm the wallet might still need some fixing.
I came accross some failed asserts the other day when setting up my old desktop to run a full node (no tx pruning).

I did too, but much less frequently than before the fixes.

About that @pallas:
Am I correct to add the "-txindex 1" parameter to the wallet path?
While saying that: the selektion21.de explorer is still running a normal node. Once I get confirmation for that parameter, I will add it and have it run a full tx history.

And next time I see that assert fail, I will post a debug.log.

Yes the parameter is used to keep a local index of all the transactions, even though the block explorer may get the information directly from the blocks, otherwise how could it show the information already :-)
I didn't look at the explorer code enough to give you an answer right away, but I can look into it later, if you need it.

your damned if you do, your damned if you dont lol
i used to mine about 1k xcn an hour on 2x1070 a 750ti and a 1050ti at 380 watt total rig .... this is total manipulation to benefit early miners and holders basically . There fuckall to justify the price hike of recently , unless u get about 10 cents per xcn for your mined coins now it aint good to mine that simple .... also seems that the one and only pool suprnova , cant handle it and cant even show its page properly for days now . This still a good a coin but i dont know what to think anymore .   also dont forget pallas has a private miner that does 40 megahash per 1070 Smiley . best wishes Smiley

Bter is scam, withdraws not working on any coin
I do not think it is a scam,
But rather buggy code or servers.
I would like to go use Bter, but handing over passport information does not set well.

You can try one of these:

- use the blockchain snapshot found in the first post

Thanks for reply, i am going to try snapshot thing, another question, how to backup wallet and restore wallet with my all coins?
i don't think there is private keys in there, only password i can set, please if you can explain?

thanks

You can backup the private keys or the wallet file, just like with bitcoin.

HI. XCN network lagging? 12 hours ago i sent xcn to BTC38 and until now nothing. Couple days ago it works good

BTC38 is having issues today and yesterday, you can check the transaction on the block explorer to see if it went thru, then ask btc38 support.
