Idiots I told them cash out now on January 13th... The owner stole the 17 million, will be imprisoned for about 5 years in Italy for fraud and it is not safe, then when he leaves in 2024 he will be a millionaire because the Nano will cost at least the same as today. .hahahaha ... He also asked everyone to verify After he knew he didn't even have the funds probably so now I send all my personal info to a thief god knows what he did will all that info or .. in his story the people that "hacked" him did with that info.

So now I have to assume I will never see that money again.

If there are people willing and able to take legal action against him I will be happy to contribute. (no bullshit sub 100 post account please.)


Ps I'm also wondering people that got their accounts liquidated before did they actually receive their funds  or all those all stuck pending ?

he was just an early investor and then after raiblocks delist from cryptopia he set up bitgrail

This is very bad for all who have coins on Bitgrail if they will scam. I use bitgrail in the past (last year) and when i use was ok. As i know bitgrail was opened by XRB devs or some of them after Cryptopia decided to delist XRB because create a lot of support tickets regardings deposits.

Official Statement Regarding BitGrail Insolvency
On February 8th, 2018, the Nano Core team was informed by Francesco “The Bomber” Firano — owner and operator of the BitGrail exchange — of a loss from the BitGrail wallet. Our team promptly contacted law enforcement and we are fully cooperating with law enforcement on this matter.

From our own preliminary investigation, no double spending was detected on the ledger and we have no reason to believe the loss was due to an issue in the Nano protocol. The problems appear to be related to BitGrail’s software.

We had no knowledge of BitGrail’s insolvency prior to February 8th.

In our conversation yesterday (which you can find attached here, this link has been edited to redact a private email.), Firano informed us of missing funds from BitGrail’s wallet. An option suggested by Firano was to modify the ledger in order to cover his losses — which is not possible, nor is it a direction we would ever pursue.

BitGrail is an independent business and Nano is not responsible for the way Firano or BitGrail conduct their business. We have no visibility into the BitGrail organization, nor do we have control over how they operate.

We now have sufficient reason to believe that Firano has been misleading the Nano Core Team and the community regarding the solvency of the BitGrail exchange for a significant period of time.

We will not be responding to individual posts or accusations by Firano regarding this situation. We are preparing all information we have on the matter such as blockchain entries, screenshots, and chat logs and presenting them to law enforcement.

Yeah bitgrail used to be great mate, it has fast deposits and fast withdrawals but now the site is basically useless. Ever since the news about binance bitgrail started going down, they started imposing mandatory account verification and I heard people from Asia couldn't verify themselves on the site. I'm not that sure regarding this information but I've read a lot of people talking about it. I think they do check support tickets but lately they have gotten a lot of support tickets so it takes them so much time to even reply to one and I think their team couldn't handle the amount of tickets they get in a daily basis. As a friendly advice mate, I think you should get all your coins out of that exchange while it's still early, there are a lot of better exchanges out there, kucoin works very well for me so I recommend using that one instead of bitgrail, the site couldn't be trusted anymore mate too many issues at the moment.

Hey Nano community, congratulations on the re-brand, nano is definitely a must swiftier name than RaiBlocks, will do well for its long term goal in terms of adoption, i'm proud to say i'm once again a heavy bag holder of XRB, once it hit $8 in the dip i basically sold my wife to enter 

Do you all know to keep your XRB in your wallet for the STONE fork? i'm unsure if KuCoin will be supporting the fork at this stage, but id say its a safer bet to keep them in a wallet you hold the seed to.

Surely, the fundamental and future of Nano coin is great. You can see that Nano offering free transaction so you needn't pay the fee like other coins, instant transfer and save energy because without minning. And then more exchange interested and will add Nano in it, so you should to have Nano and hold it for long term investment

Yeah I think people should just be careful and not access their web wallet through any third party website. It seems like the person who created this has no intention in stealing private keys but just to be safe I think there should be a pop up warning to all users to not access their web wallet though the app when launching the app I think that will really help secure the wallet of nano users. Anyway I've just downloaded the app and it seems really useful, it really gives a lot of information regarding nano and it helps users keep up with the recent news and development of nano with just their mobile phones. This can really help a lot of users save time when looking for updates and it is also a huge time saver when it comes to looking at the real time price of nano in all three exchanges. Overall I applaud the guys that made this, they really made it easier for a lot of us to keep up with this project. I hope an ios version will be release soon.

Is there a source code for this? I'm not accusing of anything but at this day and age, one must be careful of using stuff like this that could be a "man-in-the-middle-attacker" that could steal private keys when accessing the web wallet.
