Anyone who has the S2, can you confirm that they are rack mountable?  E.g., do they come with rack mounting tabs and/or pre-drilled mounting holes for standard racks?  or will they require a shelf?  Have 2 coming maybe tomorrow need to know!!

The come with rack mounting brackets. No rails.

They look right at home with their little bros.

Bitmain has once again come though with an awesome product that works exactly to spec and it came exactly when they said it would!

Bravo Bitmain! I couldn't be happier.

Super sexy 4u case with rack mounting brackets!

64 chips per board. 10 boards. Beaglebone powered.

64 * 10 * 1.6Gh/s per chip == 1024Gh/s

any chance of a photo of the PCB? There are 10 S1 units worth of bitmain chips in there, meaning that if there are sufficient regulators on the PCB these things could likely be overclocked to 1.5TH/2kW with some cooling improvements and perhaps some pencil modding

Great pics gigavps!  What's the noise like for the S2?

Great pics indeed, and what about power consumption at the wall?

Anyone in Canada received their S2 yet?  Really like to know what happens at customs, and what value it's declared at.

Dumb UPS. Last night routed my package from Alaska to Kentucky and I am in California. Delayed 1 extra day. Was ready to un-box today.

I don't get why a lot of people are complaining about the ethernet port placement.  If you're going to rackmount it, isn't it easier to have ethernet in front just like many rackmount switches are setup?

Spondoolies-tech also has their ethernet port up front for their rackmount miners.

that depends on how you setup your server racks.. i personally put my switches that i use to connect to my servers in the back top of the racks so the ports face the back of the racks. this makes for much cleaner cabling to the servers because servers have their ports located in the back of the racks.. now my mdf's (core switches) and idf's (access switches) i put the switches in the front of the racks. that is because is better for cabling from the patch panels to the switches.
