I received my tracking number a couple of hours ago, I ordered from 112bit.  Sadly, it doesn't yet show any tracking information... hopefully it's just being slow to update!  :-)  If I get mine and can get pics before anyone else is able to get them up, I will definitely post them.

I'm pretty excited-- for the next 6 months, I am getting ~$0.057c/kWh for 100% Wind (gotta love deregulated energy in Texas and a likely mistake from Green Mountain).  I spent last night updating cgminer on my 2 S1s, I am ready for the S2.

cant wait till we can see the new s2 and it's performance! Well done bitmain for the good work!
I got my tracking number today, slated for delivery Thursday. UPS always seems to be a day late, so hopefully by Friday there will be at least a few in the wild.

OK, anyone got details yet?
Someone over in the cgminer thread says they got one and I'm interested in knowing what the interface is (and the cgminer code)

A distributor has suggested to me that it's a BBB (Beagle Bone Black)
I'm wondering is it SPI or USB like before.
I've been able to get an RPi to do 3.5TH/s over SPI with a well designed interface (black arrow minion) so with a slightly faster BBB it should be no problem at all to do 1TH/s with CPU to spare.

Any details yet?

Edit: damn - it's not an S2 the guy has (It's a Bitmine-A1)
Anyway, of course still want any info about the S2's Smiley

Kano, I have one on the way. I'll fill you in when it arrives. Supposedly an ARM based custom controller.

Ran out of shelves, had to make do.

I'm sure someone has asked, but what do you use to power the ants?  Have you a quick howto/faq describing the parts for the server PSU and cabling?

I'm currently using consumer Corsair 600W per overclocked ant and I'd like something cleaner.

I can run dedicated 20A 120v circuits, so hopefully something that works with this.

Thanks in advance

he uses Delta DPS-2000BB server PSUs. (2000W)

200v-240v only

In this picture I only have each Delta powering 4 overclocked Ants, but my normal set-up is 6 overclocked ants per PSU. (OC to 375)

are there any guides on how to set up server PSUs? I've never used one before, just the standard ATX.

You can buy the board sidehack makes, they will give you pci-e cables from a dell z750p powers supply. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/server-power-supply-interface-board-for-standalone-miners-and-gpu-rigs-379677
You get board pluss pci-e cables fittet with horse shoes so you only need to screw them on.
He is going to make boards for different PSU's

I use them, they are great and super easy to work with.

TaaS is a closed-end fund designated to blockchain
I can confirm that the Antminer S2 has shipped, Today April 1st, and I have tracking numbers for Multiple Units, Delivery shows for thursday April 3rd. Package weight of 18 Kg which is 40 lbs, so lighter then the BFL Rack Mount which was about 50 lbs boxed and shipped.

Thank you Juan of 112Bit.com, as I was in First Day Shipping of Batch 1, and if you order either Antminer from him, Put Referred by HolyScott in the notes section.

Hey, I don't doubt they have shipped the miners but I would like to track it and pay for my import tax before it is delivered to my door.

Also I am looking forward to unpacking it so I can take a day off from work.

A day off work when expecting a miner is becoming a new excuse in industry = "Ah I'm a bit poorly today". "He's expecting a miner no doubt".

[edit] Also - "He must be expecting twins", "No, quins".

Hahaha I am actually expecting twins (2xS2) :-)

Not. Didn't order any s2 units. Wouldn't matter anyway. All we have to go on is what they say and what they've done. If they run off with the coins and never ship there's likely very little anyone can/will do about it.
