@MoneroCrusher: It seems that both you and me have downloaded the 32bit exe into a 64bit system. Downloaded the correct one and it's working great (removed the necessity to run as admin as well).

I'm having problems with the script. The manual disable/enable works fine.

output of script:

Obviously it found 4 Cards but was not able to disable it?
I'm on build 1703 and I downloaded devcon.exe the following way:

Hello!

I need a help with power table.

I set 850 mV for P0-P7 and 850 mV for P3 HBM memory.

But in GPU-Z Sensors - VDDC 1 V or more.

Why?

Because lowering voltages past a certain point in the power play table doesn't actually do anything. Use OverdriveNTool to apply the voltages. Also remember that memory voltage is actually core voltage floor, so make sure it's equal to or lower than your desired core voltage.

This is correct by you don't want to disable the iGPU on rigs that use it (like mine).
You can instead call
Code:
devcon.exe disable "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F"
timeout /t 2
devcon.exe enable "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F"
This is enable/disable ALL devices that match the prefix.

Just my 2p Smiley

I think this also works:
Code:
devcon.exe restart "*PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F*"

power used for 2 rx on eth with dcr  vs power used for 1x 56 mining monero

I see claims with 140 watts for 2000 hash on vega's doing monero

I know 2x rx 470's 480's 570's or 580's will use more then 140 watts

so form factor a good board could do very well  with vega 56's

I have this board on order. comes on monday

seems really good to run 4 vega 56's with endless spacing for cooling

but right now I am almost all nvidia mostly because of a few more coin choices

Don't forget that vega's doing 44 mh/s eth @ 150W, what other cards can do this?

On another note... Did anyone tried Myriad-Groestl? How is Vega performing on that algo?
Two rx 470/570 for same price as one Vega will hash at least 56+ Mh. And will be stable as rock
P.S.: Too many hashing powers on all altcoins that cause low profit with 1+ year ROI

Monero is still way more profitable. Those 2 polaris cards would need to be able to mine at 74m/s (combined) to match 1 vega on monero. But if you say vega on monero is not a good deal, why would anyone even mine anything Cheesy

From pm discussions    4 vega 56's  can be had for about 1700-1800 usd  put in with a ryzen 1700  and a proper mobo.

Build is about 2200.   it will do 8000-8500 for cryptonight/monero  under 700 watts.  so roi is under a year.

how good is that? I am not sure.  What I don't like is  if xmr tanks  the card does not have a lot of value.

The price is coming down to the MSRP, which means that Vega cards should hold their value better going forward. I was really hoping for an ebay bucks promo this week with those Newegg Sapphire 56's at $419, but didn't happen, not for me at least. They're selling quite a bit at that price - I'm a little worried they'll raise it before another promo comes in. Either way, I see it as a good buy right now - XMR is pretty undervalued imo, and would only really tank along with a more widespread alt crash. And it's showing promise with other algos - I think this card has a lot of potential once miner developers have had more time to work with it.

I can get 4x  56's  for under 1700.   I have a few mobos empty.

I can move  my  1080i's from my ryzen 1800 board  and put 4x  amd 56's  mine all xmr.

Not sure if I will  but I may do this.

I right clicked the batch file and run it as admin, yes.
Anything else I couldve missed?
Try running from an elevated cmd prompt. Your error looks like you're not running as admin ... really.
Also try the commands by hand from the same elevated prompt.

Other than that I can only think that your devcon is not compatible (use a recent one for windows 10).
