No need to boycott altcoins for Bitcoins can recover back, usually what happens is where Bitcoin flies altcoins follow. Or now will never happen? Or need an altcoin that always grows new should be at the stop?

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?
no need to boycott altcoin just let new users come in the future, i believe it will really come to make altcoin prices recover again like before, but keep in mind bitcoin always has dominance for everything, no need to boycott anything because usually when prices start rising then users will continue to increase, I've seen that before

Many people affraid of being lost so they decided to get back to what is the first crypto currency which is bitcoin.
They are not boycotting all altcoin  but the one who has crowdfunding because many people lost with that investment for the past years so they dont want to risk anymore money in it.

For now Bitcoin is a safe choice, investors will definitely want to secure their funds. But I see the movements of some altcoins are still positive, so in my opinion altcoins aren't boycotted but only need time to prove that altcoin is also a good choice

year-end momentum is more to unloading containers to rearrange and calculate what traders get throughout the year. so domination is likely to change again.

if dominance turns out to be 50%, then the market will start trying to induce profits with altcoin starting from the top coins as a trigger. It won't be long before bitcoin returns to a new situation. I am not sure that the current dominance is positive, just an ordinary situation that happens every year, very far from opinions about boycotts and so on, will still go down.

Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?
It was even touched almost 70% and it was going back again to 65% and that means if altcoins are not yet boycotted. Just because it was getting a little increase in bitcoin's dominance and you can take a conclusion if the altcoin market has already boycotted. you can see that from this chart
https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage

People are still buying altcoins for the speculation purpose and only a small percentage that use altcoin as an investment. That's why altcoin was loosing its dominance because people are moving their portfolios to the bitcoin.

Not really. Many altcoins are getting boycotted because they have no growth anymore. That is something majority of the altcoins deserve. But there are also altcoins that are still improving and providing services to the cryptocurrency community. It is not hard to think that the likes of Ethereum is more of an asset than a liability in the crypto community. Bitcoin dominance is prevalent because of its anticipated bull run in the end of 2019 and or the early weeks of 2020.

Domination is indeed very high for now. But the altcoin market will adjust if bitcoin dominance decreases gradually. There will be time for altcoin to recover prices. For now the market does not provide more space for altcoin. There are only a few altcoins that survive and remain in demand by investors like ethereum.

that happens because most of altcoin is indeed in a difficult condition to go up. it is true that bitcoin can always recover quickly even though it has just fallen. but remember, forget altcoin with high prices such as etherum, litecoin and others, there is also altcoin at a low price but actually has a pretty good percentage increase. just call it xrp and doge. if we observe the market, actually xrp always puts pressure on the pump upward during this bear market period. so to be more visible, we do have to see the highest altcoin to go up.

People are just less willing to invest into cryptocurrencies as a whole due to current market conditions, let alone altcoins which are generally more risky than investing in a larger coin like Bitcoin. That's certainly contributing to Bitcoin's rising dominance as money's starting to flow out of alts and back into Bitcoin again. Just seems like there's been less interest from buyers in altcoins over the last few months in general as well, considering BTC dominance was rising even before its USD price started shooting up towards $13k.
