Nope, ICO's are not really dead because some of it are legit and paying you back what you work for them, they saying ICO's are dead because of that projects that are not paying and always scamming their workers even if it is a successful project, so always be careful in joining projects.
I am still investing in some ICO projects because I believe in such industries. ICOs are offering so much opportunities and giving us amazing tokens. I have no doubts that in the nearest future when the market is going to recover, we would see plenty of new ICOs that will bring really big profit.
Eventually ICO will recover, people are just saying it's dead now because their tokens does not give a good value when traded in the market. With the recent price rally of BTC and altcoins, I think the time is near that ICO will be great again because people are just

I haven't invest in ICOs since 2017 and recently I switched to dapps. Many people are really going nuts about it nowadays and it has sense - they're as transparent as it could be, so when you understand the mechanics and sure about the code it becomes very attractive for investments.

Now it is better to invest very carefully, watch how much the project has collected investments during the preliminary sales. Carefully study project prospects, study team members, and so on. And never invest all your money in one project. It can go bad and you lose all your money. It is better to scatter money for several projects, so safer.

I think that even now you can find good projects. they just don't talk about themselves loudly. they are just waiting for the right moment

Not really. Fetch ai is my next target in ICO market. I bet these guys will outperform market. Results should be awesome, because hype is too high at the moment around this story!
