After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?
investing when ico is still running does have a considerable risk but if ico is successful and successful then the benefits will be much greater. I do not recommend investing when ico runs better, which is already listed on the market that is more certain and does not have a big risk. ico will not die and will always be there, so you must be really slaughtered in choosing ico that you will do later.

For me no, But please before to join on ICO make sure that you have some investigation before to invest to prevent scam because if you don't have done you will make not sure if the project is legit or not. So before to join make it sure that is pure legit also their website is always active. So you can start trust again on the ICO.

Investors no longer believe in projects. It seems to me that it becomes a very, very serious problem, because today there are real risks of losing all the money in general. Today, it is precisely such actions that will be able to drive out all investors from the market.

ICO is not dead, quite alive. But no place for Shit ICO. People are greedy and they lost their money due to fake ICO cause those icos were announced to steal money. With potent regulation only well established project will be able to survive. And great project will get good attention. 1

No ICO'S are not dead, some ICO'S right now are paused or not started yet even their project is done. the reason why is they wait for better cryptocurrency.
I agree with you. Those who are thinking that ICOs are dead, are those that have been promoting scam projects. Since, they received nothing and everything turns out to be scam, it us assumed real ICOs are no more. I have seen some ICOs that have been able successfully make and complete their sales.

I do not believe that ICO's are dead. Although, it is of no doubt that many scam ICO are pervading everywhere but that does not mean there are no good ones that are still in existence. There are many more good ICO's which are highly rewarding their investors. The only thing is that it may take thorough and intensive research to get them. Other things that I know can also help in choosing good ICO may include reading the whitepaper about the project to know what the roadmap is like for future development of the coin in the project.

Do not lose hope, every time when prices fall everyone says that the cryptocurrency is dead, and then a miracle happens. In the crypto world there is nothing unequivocal, be positive.

Yes, this is an event that is also experienced by many bounty hunters. When our investment money is gone, of course, we are very disappointed and even frustrated. But of course everyone has different abilities, some can still enjoy the benefits of investing. So I don't think that ICO is dead.
I respect your point but in terms of price thats falls for a longer period the ICO's has a hard time to survive because most of the investors is waiting on the bull run and get some profit thst they will use on the other coins. O  this scenario the ICO'S even has a Good project they cant survive because of the fund that they cant hit bacause the market price is falling.

ICOs are not dead because there is an active marketing.
Past ICO coins are dead because there is no active team. Still thinking how long ICO sales could survive.  Roll Eyes

ico isn't dead, but it's just that ico is now at an insecure point because of the irresponsible ico and scam. I agree more if there is a regulation on ico so that ico can be good and not scam.

ico isn't dead, it's just that now many people are not responsible for making ico a scam. so I see now there should be an ico regulation that makes rules if ico scams are prohibited from being published. this is a good thing and can avoid ico scam.
and now too many fake developers build projects.they have no capability building projects that based on blockchain.creating fake ico just to take money from investors and after they dont care anymore with developtment.
it's true they were the ones who made ICO die and damaged the image of the crypto world. I really hate every developer like that, they really seem to only want profits and don't have the ability to manage their projects.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?
Sadly, ICOs are now dying due to the new trend. Investors in cryptocurrencies are now preferable to participate in STO than in ICO because of the high risks that they cannot handle.

In my opinion, ICO is not dead, but every year less and less people want to invest in ICO. There is no any guarantees that you will receive smthn from your investments, because here is a lot of scam. STO is new era of ico

ICOs are definitely dead! the system has proved itself to leave no choice but to do exit scams...It is just human nature...get money to easily and you lose any will to deliver.

If anything, maybe DICO still has a chance

now, if you don't have a good analysis of the ICO project, or don't have someone who is experienced in the ICO, it's better to stop buying ICO coins. because 80% of projects now are destroyed. softcap and hardcap are not guaranteed to make the project good when released on the market. I think they save all the assets to make a pump when the price of bitcoin has risen. but maybe they are also a failed product. better to trade. you can control all your assets.

Icos are not dead but the market is in a dip and most icos are just scam no investor would want to invest in those kind of projects and loose money which makes it very difficult to get good projects
