I am not seeing any ICOs are successfully meeting their soft or hard target nowadays; by the times of 2018 and before that, it was regular news like this project met its hard target in minutes and etc. From these, I need to assume that ICOs are not effectively going on this platform as IEOs are there for both devs and investors hence they are all moving out of this forum. Simply, ICOs are still legit but that does not mean they will be profitable for us.

I am usually getting about upcoming ICOs through email alert from some third party services but nowadays they have stopped their services as well. It means there is no activities/services are able to survive these days after the introduction of IEO things. When IEOs are being profitable for investors, we can move to them.

Even in the presence of IEO some project still believes in ICO more than IEO, many project are still currently doing ICO. Is not about ICO nor IEO, a scam project will still remain a scam project, if New project can still be exiting scam after doing a successful IEO, then is better will look out for other features.

We heard the news of IEO to be in place of ICO in order to curb the high rate of failure and scams in the development of altcoins projects in this year 2019. My surprise is that I still see series of projects claiming to be in ICOs. Doesn't that make them scam as we have seen in the same scenarios in the past?

If it is, I wonder why people still invest whether their time or monies in such projects which have high risk of loss or being scammed.

At present what we are building on the mindset is that the ICO project is identical to fraud, but actually the scam project depends on the team, not on the ICO or IEO. So why do ICO projects still have people who want to invest? Because the team is trusted.
That's the truth about many projects that had went to the drained in recent times. What I see this days are people who are not rational claiming to be one to defraud another. Many projects had come and what we see in them is one similar thing, they are not sincere to their projects and sometimes they made-up their mindsets not to get the project working but to scam gullible investor's.

How do you see ICOs in 2020?

What changed? What still needs to be fixed?

i  can still see some ico's in the current year but not that lively as what they are back on the days  . there must be a changed that need to be fixed before we see them becoming lively again  . the change can firstly start on the team of each projects  . they need to think of a new plan if ever they are using the old plan because old plans could not be working anymore  . changed on how a site and people welcome an ico needs to be done too because i see this is another problem we are facing right now  .

So if a legit team doing the ICO for their project, ICO in this case is good, right? So I can warp it up that ICO at the end, is just a tool. We can't really blame it for scam projects that actively using any tool they can to scam people.

IEO's presence is only to reduce the indications of project fraud, I observe that the IEO trend has attracted market investment and many investors prefer to invest in IEO because the risk of fraud is smaller than in the ICO but that does not mean that the ICO has been forgotten due to the presence of the IEO trend.

There are still legit ICOs but the numbers are now few. Most of the ICOs nowadays are bad because their goal is only to raised big amount of money. It is now very risky to participate in ICOs.

Not all projects in ICO were scams, so it's normal that some people still believe in it and invest. But we can't ignore the fact that the term "ICO" is now synonymous for scams and failures, that is why IEO is already a preferred method of crowdfunding. It's up to investor whether he choose ICO or IEO, none of them guarantee legit project.

The cryptocurrency market is full of SCAM ICOs nowadays be very careful about where you invest your money today. It's better to invest money on IEO than typical ICOs they are full of scams these days. Cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance and Bitfinex are hosting IEOs, legit projects with proper teams, and backgrounds it is better to invest your money there.
it seems like IEO won't last either.
but I say the scenario is still the same as the ICO in the previous year. Money and profits are still a concern of investors, I'm afraid that if IEO dies we won't find a new altcoin again.
IEO is not fully effective to avoid scam projects, we can still experience what we have for the past few years from ICO's. There are still a lot of scam projects.
If IEO wont last, I am sure another type of funding will be built in the future to raise new projects and hoping that this will become our future.

A project is not yet seen as scam, because of the name it bears, until proven. It does not also mean that all IEOs are legit.
Although, scammers have used the opportunity of lunching ICO to scam investors and they already know that most investors are no longer interested in investing in ICO. Notwithstanding, they keep changing their plans and are on IEOs as well. Also, some projects do ICO and still succeed.

Do you think that a scammer should ever surrender, they will never surrender since they realize they will consistently locate some simple investors, despite the fact that they probably won't gather as much as they use to get.

I don't generally think each ICO that you see are scam, on account of the high posting charge of IEO, and you realize that you need to pay first, which means you should have cash before the project can be openly shared, while ICO doesn't require that, so they would likewise still need to wager their chances on ICO first, and on the off chance that they can make it on it, they continue to utilizing IEO to finish it, so you will even now discover both Legit and Illegal ICO, we simply need to watch it that we just do with the individuals who are genuine so we can shield our cash from sneaking off to scammers hand.

In spite of the huge number  of scam ICOs that are destroying the good name of blockchain technology, there are still a number of ICOs that are still making positive waves to promote the use of cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, most investors have lost hope in recent times due to the number of scam projects.

ICO projects are still legal, and besides, there are a lot of worthy ones, the mood of the market is another matter, correction does not allow many to raise funds, which leads to fraud

Why IEO existed because many ICOs doesn't deliver what they've promised like listing the token to an exchange. And if there were ICOs that you have seen until now, it's because they believe that they can make it even though the community sees that market as a dying market. Many were scams but there's still the very few legit projects that you could invest but the demand with ICOs has gone lower.

I cannot see any difference between ICO and IEO just apart from their name. ICO, ITO, IEO all are a means of collecting funds to support an idea of a crypto project. IEO and ITO are just a means to ensure investors and traders that the project launching IEO or ITO are legit. But like ICO, projects launching IEO have also turned out to be a scam in many cases. So the crypto project should be honest enough to ensure it is a legit one.
