Well, not all IEOs are profitable and not all ICOs are fake. It all depends on each project. So if the project is good, whether using an ICO or IEO strategy to raise funds, it will definitely be interesting and can form a profitable ecosystem.
Most ICO's are considered as scam projects and the introduction of IEO's was to do away with these scam projects but what do we still see around, there are still more ICO's coming in day and day out and does that makes them a scam project? hell no, some Ico's are still legit and are considered as a great opportunity for investors to invest in.
I cannot agree 100 percent with you. ICO and IEO are just a means of collecting funds to fund a crypto project. There are many legit projects that depend on ICO to collect funds. ICO and IEO cannot determine which project is legit or not.
ICO is legit and good approach of raising project funds. The intention was a good one until the bad actors in the industry made it look like a scam. Hence, the perception of ICO changed. Investors became very careful and alternative means, IEO, was developed. ICOs are still legit and we have a number of projects still taking that route to raise funds.

Personally I can't invest in any ICO anymore, I will rather wait for it to trade on a decent exchange if I think the project is good. I normally invest in IEO done on Binance, Kucoin, OKEX, gate.io for safety reasons. Well, maybe some ICOs might still be legit but I don't take chances anymore.
I also only invest in IEO because this is the best way to make profits from this market. In fact participating in leading exchanges like Binance, Huobi, Bitmax can be very good for your profits because these are exchanges that have lots of successful IEO projects and earn twice as much profit easily if you have a ticket to attend. I have participated in many good IEO projects and among the 10 IEO projects I participated in, all of which helped me to make a very high profit.

The point depends on each other's views because every investor will not put their money in the wrong place. but if you say ico is still valid or not, I don't think so. but the fact is ICO's bad reputation will not stop investors from investing in it.

When there is no clear laws, you cannot call it legal, ICO is more like not regulated so you will not face any consequences when you participate by investing since there is no clear law. However, regardless of that, we should be aware that there's a low success rate for ICO, so it's not attractive to invest on it. ICO is still alive but soon it might disappear in the market together with the coins we invested with our money, so it's safe to shift to another popular crowdsale now which is the IEO.

It's hard to predict the future of any projects that has been offered from this market, a lots of scammers are around and taking the risk added from each projects once you bring your money inside, finding good developers is hardly to find while working and trying what kind of finished product that will soon be acceptable by many investors around.

Not going to ignore that many ico fail , my mean the price drop a lot after hit market or the worse scene it will scam. Many investor skip for joining ico because of that and prefer join IEO. But if you want to cross check there is still ico with good project and legit to invest. But you really need to be carefull
Yes, why not if it is good project and good team behind it, if one or more of the team has previous success project, if it has physical location such as exiting company
It's all very confusing. Some countries have banned ICOs, but it is not difficult to participate in those in other countries, so it is enough to base oneself in a friendly place and it is still possible.

There are still some ICO and IEO projects, but their number is decreasing with time, as we see actually so many scam and worthless projects. So it is a must to study the project carefully before investing our money or time, because the ICO industry is still very risky.

That is actually my view of it, many of us have not visited the session of campaigns as often as we do before, because we have concluded that the projects there are full of scam, meanwhile, we still have so many projects that are very real and genuine, but they are not getting our attention because of the bad image that scammers has created for them.People now are choosing IEO's, IDO's and STO's because they are more secure.
Since, ICO is no much showcasing these projects, they ought to just try as much as possible to register ion IEO, the way IEO is slow, it shows that the number of scam project and bad project is far greater than the good ones, it is even good tat IEO help reduce the number of projects that we have in the market today because it is just too saturated, so any genuine project better go on IEO and stop depending on ICO.
There are very few ones but they are getting attention once again. ICO may not be legit but if the question is the coin offerings then IEO seems to be popular once again. If you look at how much they are getting funded once again you will realize that the bad part of ICO has ended and the coin offerings are once again getting money.

Don't get me wrong coins might be horrible coins and they might not end up being anything at all however the reality is that people want to fund those and get cheap coins and then sell it as soon as they hit the exchange so they can make profit, they are not after anything else.
That is true, there are very few legit ICO and is difficult to found good ICO project at this time. TS has some strange logic regarding ICO. With the same success it is possible to consider cars on gasoline/diesel fuel "pieces of useless metal" after all there are electric cars. Maybe you should take off the blinders and start to delve into the essence of the projects.
