That would be nice but the problem is that no matter if that person new to gambling won and got away I think still he would be back at some time so most likely they will become addict as they will think that winning is easy and will keep losing becoming true gamblers.I don't know anyone that has done just that, won big and moved away from gambling and enjoyed life and never looked back.Difficult to do that so we have yet to see one such person.
Yeah, sometimes people get addicted very fast.
It's all in the mind, so they might end up in a bad situation after simply winning their first ever bet.
They think they can do it again, and then they lose all their money trying to win more.
Every gambler should be careful as they can win or lose and still be addicted to gambling, however, gamblers are more addicted when they lose, they are so particular about the reason why they lose in that manner and would want to change the narrative. Instead, it will get worse and slip them into emotional gambling and will keep them losing. It will get to the stage that they would want to revenge their losses, and before they know it, they might become addicted to gambling and continue to lose senselessly. The other scenario is that the gambler might start with winning, but it is not playing again that should be blamed here, but the inability of the gambler to apply wisdom to the winning. A winning can bring another winning or lose, so it doesn't matter, it is gambling we are talking about.
I am also not the type that causes fear in the minds of gamblers, so winning the first bet is not the issue but the mismanagement of the winning is, and even if the player loses the money back, he should still preserve his sanity and not lose it because he wants to gain the money back at all cost. So it can start either way and the poor management of the two (loss and win) causes the addiction over time. But still, it is losing that aggravates it as people would want to always believe that they can do it, they can make huge, money from gambling or at least get their money back. When it is not forthcoming, they try again and again and it would be late before they realise they are already addicted. But in winning, the gambler can still be happy about what he is doing, so there is nothing to lose if the situation is better managed if fear is not entertained.
