I think everyone is afraid to lose their money without doing something especially when the currency that they have was from their hard work. And of course most of the hackers are anonymous even the police are getting hard time just to locate them. I think that's is one of the reasons why we must be afraid to them.  But we can prevent simple hacking just by don't visiting any suspicious websites and don't just simply give our information

We should all be wary of unethical hackers who just want to steal or rob from others for their own.

There is only so much we can do to protect ourselves; not downloading suspicious software, not using a public terminal for accessing our wallets, not putting our private keys on our laptop etc. But sometimes we are at the mercy of the exchanges that we use or the website that we have to use such as myetherwallet when we transact. If they get hack our keys could be sent to the wrong person when we transact..

I try to make myself feel safer by diving my coins into multiple wallets. I have several wallets for my alt coins and a cold hardware wallet that is in my safe.

By dividing up all my coins, I do hope to be able to lessen my risk. And thats all we can do. The other way is to never touch the internet..

We are all afraid on hackers. We all know that hackers stole billions of money and some of them is very skillfull that police forces cant even catch them. It is normal to have fear on them, all we can do is practice more safer browsing. We all should take precautions and be careful what we click and what we visit. Lets all wish that no one here gets hacked and stole the money we work hard to earn.

Fear is not the right approach to security issue.  If you are fearful you are certainly going to make some costly mistake.  However you should always consider security implications of your actions and inaction online especially as regard your cryptocurrency safety.

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
I am afraid of them because they can take my coins away which is hard to make so I don't want to lose them. But I think the situation will be different in the future and we will be more safe.

Yes, I think we need always need to fear a hacker, most of them are merciless, can cause great harm to us (if they want to), mysterious, with secret agendas. Hacking is developing, day by day, reaching new heights, that means more pain in the ass for the victim.

To be sure I am very afraid of hackers, because they can steal all the Crypto we already have. Therefore, it is desirable for all altcoin investors to secure their altcoin wallet passwords.

to fear it is certain because there is no legal force that can protect us so we must be vigilant and very cautious in accessing all that relate to our investment

Absolutely not. I think in this environment they are powerless and stupid.

I am sorry, but I am afraid this way of thinking is dangerous. The moment someone thing he is safe, he is sloppy and the problems are just matter of time.

You should always strive to keep your data/keys safe enough that you don't have to be as worried about hackers. Also, always check your urls and don't click on sketchy stuff.

People should use safer browsing habit and along with that should diversify their bitcoin and altcoin holdings in as many places as possible.
Exchanges, online wallets and hot wallets in gambling sites.
If you are not using it regularly, you can just export the private key in encrypted form and remove every trace of its existence.

Yeah i believe we should. I Think an insurace policy for our wallet can help to protect our investment And constantly monitoring your acct  from time to time as well..

Fear that someone can hack into my Internet purse is finite, but if it's normal to defend, then whoever hurts my savings.
