Of course, im buying Alts , Alt useful and great, altcoins has many kinds and more and more are existing today, Altcoins ethereum, Neo, Monero and more are very useful and can be alternative to Btc. Moreover, now I hold in Btc no more than 20% of the portfolio. 80% - Alts.
Yes, I bought some altcoins for my personal savings. Some of the altcoins I bought showed sharp increases, although some of them experienced significant declines, even some scams. But I know, as long as I keep storing, someday this altcoins will be meaningful to me. maybe about 2-3 years I will store my altcoins and if the price is good enough then I will sell immediately
Yes, I do buy both depending on the price. Whichever is having low price I prefer buying that and sell the one with higher price.
I am buying altcoins because when you have 3-5 altcoins in your portfolio be sure one or two will go skyrocket 
now the market is red, all coins are falling down and down, but i think now just wait and keep patient to see the increase trend before make the decision to buy any altcoins
The time of buying altcoins is now that the bitcoin fork is cancelled , altcoins will rise this time. But i do not buy altcoins , i earned altcoins through bounty campaigns and through airdrops. I haven't tried to buy altcoins because i only earn many kinds of altcoins through campaigns, airdrop and eventually sell them after holding for a little while. Maybe in the future, I will invest on some altcoins because I am aware that altcoins are profitable too. I am still learning things about trading, so maybe in time, I will trade altcoins for profit. For now on i'll focus first on a signature campaign to earn my capital for trading.
I feel like despite that bitcoin bull run, altcoins are going to have a great year after the bitcoin bull calms down. So to be fairly honest I'm stocking up quite a bit to not feel left out when they start to moon again. Altcoins are testing new lows but that only means more highs in the future.
I will buy altcoin now because now is the right time to get a coin at a cheap price, and with altcoin we can invest short term and hope this will yield excellent profits and altcoin will have a good year after the bitcoin bull is over.

Buying altcoins is a good decision only when you are buying them in a right time i.e. when the price is low. Secondly you have to check it out the coins that you are buying otherwise it will be of no use. You should buy those coins with high potential and are promising.
