I certainly do not follow all ICO's because almost 70% of ico end up with sales failure or not so successful in the market, many ICO finally fell silent after not reach hardcap, developers and owners tried to jump into other projects while still giving sweet words on the project before, it was very disappointing.

I was not, but now I must be to survive in the market. Scam projects directly steal your money but bad projects steal both your money and time. It is worse.

There are now several hundred new ICOs per week. I find it really hard to stay on top of what are the good ones.

Yes of course. I got to protect my investments. I need to look into the soundness of their plan, the web presence of the developers, content of their websites and etc. At least in terms of risk and profitability, it becomes a calculated one.
It's better to be picky with the investments then to choose the wrong investment because there wasn't enough research put into the coin.

Are you picky with ICOs?
Of course I am , and everyone else should be. You have to be careful so you don't make the wrong investment decision or fall into the hands of scammers.
Well yes because is difficult when you dont have background check or knowledge about ICO you join. Also im become choosy when i join in some ICO, and before i join i'll make sure that my research is done about it. Also i asked my friend if what ICO they trust and what ICO they suggest to me to use.
Aside on my own research and investigation on a certain project if I do see that it has a potential then I would really get some confirmations into my friends which are big investors most of them do invest on ICO too which once I do see some positive comments I do really put money on that one but results would still vary because there are really times that invested money have lost because project have failed or just become a pump and dump scheme coin.

Of course! This is the point! You just can't go around and spend your money and energy on wishful thinking and promises!
The world is full of those with 90% leading to disappointment.
The ICO market is GOING CRAZY right now - it's out of control!
There is so much confusion and misinformation right now is easy for scammers to run off with your work and money.
So, my advice to everyone is to do your homework before committing to anything.

I am also well a picky one when it comes to ICO why? because I don't usually pick the ICO that don't have any catchy name or it is not popular I am not that type of person that taking always the risk I also go to my friends and ask what ICO they prefer to me and when they prefer ICO I will go to that

After my short experience of investing a lot of time and even lending my own support through unpaid promotions in two ICOs... yes, I'm extremely picky with them. In fact, with both ICOs, they turned out to be quite good in terms of project development but I suffered heavy losses, to the point that they have become just very small investments almost losing 80% of the value I invested.

So from now on, it will take me a lot of courage to invest. What hurt me most I guess is how harsh the devs seemed to treat their investors after raking in so much.

I am

Especially with these criteria

1)What they do with the unsold Token? (Main concern for me)
If one team keeps the unsold token, meaning they are not really doing "Public sale" because the tokens is meant to be public's Tongue Next, Burning unsold token leads token quantity to be lesser which would mostly push the price upward

2)Marketcap after ICO
I wouldn't look at coins that is Low Volume + High ICO price or vice versa
If someone valuate their project so high when it is just an idea, it is bad for natural growth

Are you picky with ICOs?

I am more than picky. I have only joined a handful of them. Those that I think are really trustworthy and the pre-ICO is a very easy sell. Everyone of us should be picky when it comes to investing in ICOs. After all, many of them are scams. We will always end up picky if we do our part in doing due diligence.

Also, you don't want your time participating their bounties and money if you invest on it. There are a lot of scam ICOs now so better be picky and choose only those who will bring you a lot of profits. You might luckily find out that will bring you such fortune.

the fortune is in your so better to be picky because if not the time and affort that you are going to spend may be waste and can be show as a loose for you so better to have patience on selecting what would be the best ICO so regret are no more.

I am not picky on any ICO I just buy ICO that I believe will rise base on my parameter. My parameters are supply, team, utility of the ICO and deadline of it's campaign!
