Isn't it still too long to predict from now on because considering that we are still in June and it looks very early to make predictions for the 24 countries that will compete in the 2023 Asian Cup? Because I'm referring to the schedule so to say it's still very early to make predictions and it will be a bit more difficult to know who will come out as champion.
I think too early make thread about Asian Cup 2023 because competition held on next years and still several months later competition begin, beside need to applause what did by OP, I think not really good discussing when predicting Asian Cup 2023 right now. Should looking on schedule early by the OP and check when exactly match held before make prediction about who the king of Asia on 2023. I keep favorite with my country Indonesia and hope this time after 15 years not participants on Asian Cup and last time qualify by the host of Asian Cup 2007 and get automatically ticket without qualify round.

I don't listen much to the power of asian football. But I know Iran, Japan and South Korea are the countries with the best FIFA rankings. It is possible that they will be the ones who will reach the finals. But I know in tournaments sometimes there are many events that cannot be guessed. There may be non-seeded countries that could surprise Asia. I actually support Indonesia because of my country, but I realize the strength of my country may not be as great as other leading countries. But I hope they are able to enter the knockout round because Indonesia has carried out several naturalization processes for players from Europe.
South Korea, Iran and Japan are still always favorites in the Asian cup event where many of their players are playing on the European continent so they also deserve to be favorites to win the title next year, we also must not underestimate the strength of Saudi Arabia and Qatar where they are currently successful in building its football well and Saudi Arabia itself also managed to get a ticket to Qatar this year, of course Saudi Arabia's strength must also be watched out for by the giant teams of the Asian continent because at any time they could be a ticking time bomb for the country

In my opinion, Japan is more prominent than the 24 countries that have passed the qualification. Overall, the quality of Asian football is still below Europe, but Asia has its own characteristics that can make Asian football better. In my opinion, the 2023 Asian Cup tophy will be brought back to Japan later even though this tournament is still a long time away.

The duration of the 2023 Asian Cup is still quite long, namely 2023 and it is not the right time to discuss it at the present time. Maybe the op can lock this thread and re-open this topic when it's early 2023. My prediction is that several countries that will be able to reach the semifinals will probably be Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. These four countries have great players who in my opinion will be able to bring their countries to beat their opponents in the Asian Cup later.
With the long duration of the Asian Cup, of course this is not an interesting thing to discuss at this time, but I will try to explore the strength of the teams that have qualified for the 2023 Asian Cup, where countries such as Japan, South Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, are still the leading candidates. strong to win the title at this event, moreover they are always favorites as strong candidates to win every Asian cup competition, but we also must not underestimate new powers such as Qatar, Iraq and Jordan, which at any time can pose a threat to the top teams, especially Qatar. currently successfully building their football where they will compete in the world cup despite being the host but Qatar's strength deserves to be reckoned with

It would be a good option. I don't think that now it is possible to seriously discuss the chances of the teams in the tournament that will take place only in a year - too much can change during this time and at the moment there are more relevant tournaments that can be discussed.
By the way i wonder if there are markets somewhere where you can bet on such distant events?

Out of 24 countries, who will come out as champion?

Pot 1
Iran (21)
Jepang (23)
South Korea (29)
Australia (42)
Arab Saudi (49)
Qatar (51).

Pot 2
UEA (68)
Irak (72)
Oman (75)
China (77)
Suriah (88)
Vietnam (96).

Pot 3
Uzbekistan (83)
Bahrain (89)
Yordania (91)
Kirgistan (95)
Lebanon (97)
Palestina (100).

Pot 4
India (106)
Thailand (111)
Tajikistan (114
Hong Kong (147)
Malaysia (148)
Indonesia (155).

I am waiting for the result of the group draw. There are 4 pots each pot has 5 countries. But I don't know when the group phase determination draw will take place yet. It is not a problem to discuss from the present, of course it is interesting to discuss the preparations of each country. I saw Pot 4 filled with the country with the five lowest rankings in Asia. If the draw is adjusted then later POT 4 should be prepared to meet the favorite country in Pot 1,2,3. Of course I see maybe the Asian country that is in Pot 1 will be the favorite to win because their Asian Ranking is also at the top. But maybe rankings don't have much of an influence, sometimes when players' mental matches are an important palin factor. Maybe Japan, Iran, Korea and Australia will be the Favorite countries of the champion.

I'm also looking forward to a team from Pot 1 winning the 2023 Asian Cup next year, but they'll be in high spirits in the near future as they prepare for the Qatar 2022 World Cup stage, and I believe they'll have the 2023 Asian Cup on their agenda next year with extraordinary enthusiasm to win Asia's biggest football tournament.

I agree with you somewhat. But the Hong Kong team is good enough. I think the Hong Kong team is stronger than Malaysia. And their gameplay is tidier than Malaysia. But we think Saudi Arabia will win the title. Among the Asian countries, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Korea are the strongest teams. And I think Saudi Arabia will win the next Asian Cup.

Asia is one of the continents that has football fans. The 2023 Asian Cup will be held in China from 16 June to 16 July 2023.
There are 24 countries will compete to win the title of champion. From this tournament will be born players with extraordinary talents who will make the name of each country smell good.

After China withdrew from hosting the Asian Cup, it looks like Australia is a strong candidate to carry out the 2023 later, I think that if Australia will host it, of course it will be advantageous for the Southeast Asian teams because are geographically  almost the same and close to australia, for champion candidates later in addition to Japan, I personally prefer South Korea to win the 2023 Asian Cup, I think these the two countries currently have a better squad depth than other Asian countries and the factor of the large number of Japanese and Korean players playing in European competitions is certainly a strong reason to favor them to be champions.

China is supposed to host the tournament from June to July next year. However, the country's determination to maintain a zero COVID policy meant the tournament had to be moved.
and only teams that qualify for the Asian Cup can register to host.
Apart from waiting for Australia's decision, South Korea has also confirmed that it will submit an offer. Japan is also considering the possibility of participating in the bid to host the 2023 Asian Cup.
In my opinion, it is still far from predicting who will be the champion, and all countries still have a chance because there are many good changes from each country.

In principle, the fact that the topic will become "hot" only in a year does not interfere with a calm discussion of the forces of the teams and what is happening inside them. In my opinion, the main problem is that the hottest topic that will be ahead is the World Cup, and against the background of this, the prospects for teams in the Asian Cup (taking into account the fact that some of them will play in the World Cup) are of no interest to anyone until the end of this most important tournament.

For now, as far as I know the 2023 Confederation of Asian Cup, is still confusing, after China withdrew as a potential host, the AFC is still waiting for submissions from 24 countries until June 30, 2022, to determine the potential host in the upcoming Asian football league.

In addition to the unclear host candidate, the group stage draw for the Asian Cup, is also still unknown, still looking at the current FIFA ranking data, for just a guess or prediction based on the pot of the national team that meets and the strongest can be said to be Qatar, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Japan can be said to have a good chance to win the 2023 Asian Cup.

but that's not a certainty, it's clear that every national team qualifier that is eliminated at least until the semi-finals can only determine which national team can win the champion of the 24 countries in the 2023 Asian Cup.

As other members have said, i think the discussion about the 2023 Asian Cup, will be the longest list at the moment and till the final which has been planned on 16th june 2023.

Yes, the tournament will be held at least a year from now, discussing who will win the title is still too early for now. In fact, even though for example a tournament will be held in the near future and if I refer to the picture, it looks like the teams in the top three rows are the candidate teams for the title. Maybe over time the changes will be in the squads of each team, but I also think the changes will not be too significant either, because the squads of each team are currently still in their prime.
You are absolutely right. There is one year until the tournament and it is not certain whether the important players of the teams with strong squads will be injured. Or whether lower tier teams will have surprise performing players. So it is a little difficult to predict. But in general, I see Japan as one of the favorites of the tournament. But there will always be surprises.

When viewed from the implementation time, the biggest tournament event of the Asian continent is still one year away. But to have a discussion on the sidelines of a big league break, I don't think it's wrong, my friend, as proof that we like football.

What about Thailand, Korea Republic, Saudi Arabia and Thailand?
Their football has undergone many positive changes. Can they not be counted as champion candidates?
