Rumor: ASICMiner has been mining and selling all their coins immediately. The falling BTC price makes mining unfavorable for all other miners while obtaining funds for future costs. What will break first: the bitcoin bulls' spirit or AM's selling momentum?

any word the margins am is taking on the tubes? 1.04 btc for a miner --- hope they are taking at least 25%.

does be300 mean the next gen chip?

Yes, be300 will be 28nm.  FC has hinted that they have worked out the power issues that they ran into with the be200 and has high hopes for the be300 performance.

As AM ramps up mining, we might be able to take a swing at the new mining address...

Any guesses?

1BX5YoLwvqzvVwSrdD4dC32vbouHQn2tuF

That address started in May... FC stated that they started in mid July.

edit.. I personally think he's mining with DiscusFish (https://www.f2pool.com), if he has much mining power up at all it's the only thing that makes sense.

Nicely put! I think it is somewhat of an overreaction. The new miners are very nice, but we've yet to see solid dividends to get the real train starting! It's still a gamble until then, more or less!

The top 3 asks and the top bid are all from the same bot. Watch it for 2 minutes and pay attention to the timestamps and prices.

The number of AM shares being traded on Havelock continues to rise.  There are now a total of 31,271 shares on Havelock, up from 28,166 on June 3rd and 27,320 on May 26th (28,016 shares to back AM1 and 3255 to back AM100).  That's slightly over 19% of the 163,962 AM shares that are held by the public.

Where do you get volume on Havelock?

Sorry, I should have said "held" instead of "traded".

You can count the shares on the havelock page by units
Units Outstanding   28016 for AM 1 as time of this post
Units Outstanding   325500 AM 100 / 100 3255 Shares

Get 31271 total Smiley

For those of you who do not frequent the main ASIC MINER thread, I will post a small update from the salon (conference) that was recently held by ASIC MINER where Fried Cat revealed his identity to the public for the first time:

===========================================================
So to summarize what has been discussed so far from the conference:

- ASIC MINER has a 1T Miner that will be available for sale at some point next week
- The goal for the second half of 2014 is to achieve 15-20% of the Bitcoin network
- The company hopes to resume dividends in the month of August
- Self-mining operation will include BE200 and BE300 series
- In terms of competition, the company is aiming to squeeze many of them into the negative profit territory
- A focus on information dissemination from the sales team going forward (better public relations)

** This could be subject to change or interpretation as more information from the conference flows in. Assuming the majority of the above is accurate I would say this salon was a success for the company and it's shareholders. I would like to hear more about the future of Gen4 that was discussed regarding the age of Exahash. Seems there is a lot of good news for current shareholders (Gen3) in here.
==============================================================

Thanks went away for a bit so its convenient to see a summary of the goals
15 to 20% of the network is a good dividend rate and dividends starting in August is a good sign
Anyways squeezing the competition seems fair given that friedcat was trying to make a competitive circle between miners and sellers but other chips were getting in the way doesn't work if only one actor tries something while the rest go all out.
Sort of like Saudi Arabia pre OPEC agreeing to a fixed oil supply and then everyone else lol.

I agree with dmcdad, however, the mention of MtGox, Bitfunder and Labcoin (clearly seen on shot of slide) is EXTREMELY worrying to me. What the hell is FC talking about here? I don't like hearing any mention of any of those 3 scam/fails ever, let alone in the context of a company I am backing. Can anyone provide a coherent translation, or even a live feed in chinese that I can run through google translate? (I cant seem to join weibo...copypaste anyone???) I would really like to know the context that labcoin/mtgox/bitfunder were brought up in, I would imagine the rest  of you should as well.
