Got it to connect in the end by copying the blockchain from the working rig to the one that wasn't working.

I've just set up a new wallet on a different computer and it won't sync at all Sad

It says connections 0 height 1.

I've tried disabling the computers firewall. Works on another rig connected to same router just fine.

Cumulated Polo buy-side down to 0.96312774 BTC, again, sigh.

ADD1: Network hash rate down to 993.16 MH/sec

ADD2: Network hash rate now (12h later): 903.73 MH/sec

Nethash is way down now (~600 Mh/s), and for some reason looks like a lot of it has finally jumped off cncoin.farm and maybe at least partially onto bbr.poolto.be.

So nice to have trolls around.

I've had my eyes on Boolberry for months now out of all CryptoNote currencies it's the best out there with a real chance of achieving success. oh  Shocked I'm a troll right! btw you make it Doged 3 compulsive liers 0.

So where's the whitepaper?

Can you post this question in Doged's thread?? Not ethical to discuss it here Smiley
Btw any real reason why the price for bbr still falling?

Because of many reasons, but first is the long waiting for next build i guess.

Found three blocks in 24 hours.  Mostly good luck but you can still find blocks mining BBR.   Two 280's is what I'm using.

what's the best pool of BBR ?

If you're using AMD cards then SOLO Mining is best.  Give it a day and you'll start finding blocks.  How many depends on how many cards you're using.  Difficulty and hashrate is low right now but I doubt it will stay that way for long.  Now is a good time to mine BBR.

Here are some good instructions for solo mining using "MBK's" openCL miner for BBR

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bbr-boolberry-gpu-miner-discussion-amd-nvidia-opencl-cuda-693118

I need to buy a new windows laptop.

What spec would be best to mine BBR in the background? Intel or AMD? NVidia or Radeon?

Laptop will be (primarily) for the wife to do microsoft office-y stuff... I'm assuming I can CPU and GPU mine BBR without too much risk of the laptop overheating? Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks!

Don't bother.  Any laptop you could buy would never return your investment from mining.

Buy your wife a cheap laptop for her needs and leave it for that use.

And yes it will get hot

For people who want full anonymity right down to the network level Teleport(network level anonymity) and BBR(unlinkable inputs and outputs) is the solution. And the only way to use those two technologies together is via SuperNET. So BBR is a critical piece of the privacy puzzle.

And SuperNET itself is a massive project to increase adoption of currencies. In fact ~$100k was just budgeted for marketing to start off 2015. BBR being a core part of SuperNET is a big deal. I myself am working on a SuperNET related project that will target real world use and I hope to be able to include BBR in my plans as well.

SuperNET intends to grow a large user base and as a result of that BBR should gain users as well since it is quite good itself.

I'm sorry but this is not true. I already challenged the Monero team when they compared Monero to DarkCoin AnonCoin, etc to compare it with DogeCoinDark and they ran from it. Mind you it was the second time as the first time a lady blogger in another thread said how it's impossible to achieve anonymity again I challenged her facts and she ran from the discussion.
The only coin out there that can achieved practical anonymity it a "free coin"  what all others are promising for months DogeCoinDark and the only reason I'm posting this is because you statement is false and misleading.

wtf is DogeCoinDark ?  Smiley

i don't quite understand how BBR's involvement in it is supposed to bring up the value. is that discussed in the thread? i might also just be failing to understand something fundamental about what superNET is and does... @_@

i've scanned through the original post in that thread several times, read some news articles and a bit of the prospectus and still don't think i really get where each (any) coin fits into the network. economics is not my strong suit at all and it seems like most of the documentation takes for granted familiarity with a whole slew of concepts in order to accept its premise.

is there no FAQ or such like for simpletons like me?  Undecided

When BBR is such an important player in SuperNET, why then is nobody trading it? To me the coin has fallen into coma.

Probably because only a handful of people actually know how important BBR is to SuperNET. Or even know about SuperNET at all for that matter.

Even with people who are involved in SuperNET I don't think too many people are really familiar with BBR. Sure jl777 and some other people are big BBR supporters, but SuperNET the SuperNET slack has 259 people right now and I would guess that most of them only know BBR by name.

Even just reading around the alt boards here you always here people dismissing Monero due to the 'blockchain bloat', yet no one even mentions the fact that BBR has already implemented their own blockchain reduction tech.

TL;DR: I doubt many people really know much about BBR yet.

So to all my money i put in BBR at 7x of nows price i can say bay bay?

I swallowed big chunk call me a barracuda. here is the thing, I complained months ago "I can not mine boolberry, you need a supercomputer"

I dont see developer leaving the coin he simply moved to another country and will engage in second coin cause he is an engineer likes to "do stuff" I see 0 problem, scratchpad is a fantastic achievement maybe not to short term traders to me it is

also dont dare to change name of the coin as well as keep analyzing all other cryptonight coins and patch in areas they do patching (constant) otherwise thanks for the opportunity
