for exchange altcoins usually not all can be done in the same place but for which many receive altcoins I think ED can be your chosen exchange with some conditions that must be accepted
Remember the coin chooses the exchange. Not the other way around. In my opinion kucoin is better, i dabble with Etherdelta also. You need to understand the basics of exchanges before you start trading. Conceptually they posses the same elements, the layout is different.

for me all exchange is the best for all beginner because it easy to learn about exchange step by step so iwant to all bitcoin users are try any exchange becuase all exchange are trusted and the best.
Yobit and Cryptopia are really great exchange for beginner, easy to use and not so bad in trading volume. Although yobits often have trouble with their wallet, but still favored by so many people
It's impossible to find best exchanger for beginners because trading platforms are needed to be learned, you just have to see some tutorials on the youtube or you just have to research or just find it yourself.
I found kucoin and binance to be fairly similar, it depends which one you like and which coins you want to trade.

All exchanges are simple expect Kucoin, u can use all exchanges without any trobule. Doest matter if u are begginer or master at cryptocurrency u can use it freely and fast.

binance is periodically opened. you need to follow constantly and update the page, then everything will turn out. Itself also did. I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game. I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins. I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public. There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.
For a newbie it better to use Etherdelta or any other platform that well-known and popular. At the moment I try to find the best platform from the view point of security and low fee payments. I am looking on Octoin.com

I often use Binance, I think Binance is the best exchange right now, it would be great for beginners like you 
Etherdelta is quite user friendly and easy to access to various tokens and coins on there but before since its DNS server got hacked the site itself doesn't load properly at least after a couple of try. Which is pretty frustrating. You should check out Bittrex as I think this is one of the exchanges out there and the user interface is also good.
For my opinion, Bittrex and Binance are easier to use
I highly recommend bittrex because it has a dollar and Bitcoin trade. It is also good for beginners because it has a good interface and it doesn't lag compared to other platforms. Binance is also good for beginners because of its low transaction fee.
i really enjoy using cryptopia. Its very user friendly, especially for new users. But it does not have all the Tokens created with the etherium smart contract, which is a big minus. But i guess you cannot get everything in this world 
Bittrex and etherdelta are the best option. Etherdelta is easy to use. But it is risky now. So I will suggest you to use bittrex. But Don't forget to verify your account. I have been using it for two years.
I do not understand the difference between the exchange for beginners and the exchange for professionals. What a stupid assumption. All exchanges have certain instruments for trading. Some exchanges have a demo account, for example HitBTC, if that helps you.
