When will the WPN tournament player pool be back?  I have been checking in daily expecting it to be back anytime...I am missing my nightly PLO tournament.  Please advise on a time frame....I am holding back my deposit until it returns.  A time frame would help me manage my bankroll because I could deposit into ACR or BCP to play my tournaments if the WPN pool wont be back at Betcoin for awhile.

WPN Connectivity Update Tomorrow - November 17, 2015 by 5pm EST. We clearly want to have you updated and even better connectivity as soon as possible, but we also think it is not necessary to update you everyday with there is no update but we shall have an update soon. Tomorrow will be an official update. Thank you!

I could have a wrong opinion (and admitted it some posts later I was wrong about iPoker not being the second poker operator but the fourth) but accusing to post for money was undeserved.
Next time before throwing mud to someone else have a look at the mirror.

You said that not paying rack back to players who qualify via satellite "is what happens in every FIAT based pokerroom."

This is not true.  I know for a fact Stars, FullTilt, Party and 888 offer rewards to all tournament entries regardless of how they entered and I'm pretty sure that nearly every other site does as well.

But you stated otherwise, as if it were fact, not opinion.

I don't know for sure, but I still think it's pretty likely that if they never offered you any bonuses youwould of never made that false statement.

I don't think you intended to lie or do something wrong.  I think this is just the result of providing incentive to players for making a site look good.  Whether or not a site is ACTUALLY good is no longer a priority to many, they are here for the reward.  There are players just looking for any reason they can to say something good about Betcoin.  These signature campaigns have a similar effect, you always have to consider whether someone is posting for genuine reasons, or simply to get paid for whatever company is renting their signature.

But ACTUALLY the one who recevied funds from Betcoin between you and me ITS YOU....and you were also so brave to accuse me of it.

For clarity, players receive VIP points when you use your bitcoin to buy into a satellite tournament based on the fees you pay. You do not receive VIP points on the tournament that you are entered into once you win the seat.

...and, by the way, it is what happens in every FIAT based pokerroom.

So hope noone will complain about it.

The whole iPoker network just to name another one.

Btw Stars and iPoker network are the first two in poker industry for number of players

Thank you for your feedback hopenotlate.  As always, much appreciated.  We will continue to provide an extremely competitive and fun VIP program with more coming to it in the near future.  Than you.

ACR, Stars to name two.  It only makes logical sense considering you are not paying the full fee to get into the tournament that you have satellited into.  I was wondering why Betcoin even posted this because I didn't see anyone ever mention this in the thread and it would seem common sense.  What are your complaints about this twitchyseal?

Why are you guys making these false statements to defend Betcoin?

ACR and Stars (as well ass 888, WSOP.com, Partypoker, FullTilt etc ) pay their rakeback or VIP rewards (whatever you want to call it) based on the the entry fee that they collect.  I actually contacted ACR support to verify recently just to make sure this was a Betcoin only problem - I've played between 500 and 3000 mtts on each of the other sites I listed.

In order to satellite into a $500 tournament, you have to win a $540 ticket. Of course you're going to be credited with paying the $40 fee when you enter.

The only two real differences between a satellite and a regular mtt is -

1 - The payout structure
2- The the prizes are used to enter a bigger tournament

The reason they posted that is because I made a big deal about them not making it public knowledge.  I believe the reason they aren't paying out on tournaments when auto registered through a satty is a technical one and has to do with their systems not reporting the registration process the same as when a player buys in with "cash".

They have simply been working out the difference in what was owed in status and chips one on one - only with  the players who complained multiple times without giving up.

To anyone who isn't sure who to believe here.  Please, get the opinion of an experienced online player that grinds sattys hard

Well I don't know first hand iPokers policy on mtt rakeback.  But I do know that 888 and bodog both have more players than iPoker so I'm pretty sure you are just making this shit up.

Hope you each got some nice little gifts from betcoin for the "feedback" anyway.

You first accused me of receiving little gifts from Betcoin for posting "positive feedback" about them and them it comes out, by your own admission, you are the one who received a gift for a comment here

But first here's some proof that Betcoin pays players to defend them on this forum.

(Maybe this is cool here, I don't know.  But it seems kinda scummy to me and I think at the very least everyone should know that it's happening.)

I am the one who received the bonus here after making this post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11992785

Hello,

As Betcoin becomes more popular, there will be more people trolling, attacking, etc., our goal is to provide the best place for all of you. We will never do our players wrong, ever. Sometimes, we will need responses in forums and we appreciate that.

We want to thank you for your bitcointalk response to the "scam" accusation which was just ludicrous.  We are very appreciative of your selfless action in doing this and have added a small bonus to your account.

Sincerely,

Thomas

Betcoin

Also, I have some more evidence of Betcoin being aware of cheating, and choosing to do nothing until the cheaters attempt to withdraw:

I don't think they were aware at the time, but when staff likes another staff members post - it's made public for anyone to see in their profile.

This screen shot also may or may not prove that our passwords are not encrypted.

I posted this ss in Betcoin Chat just now, here are some of supports responses (basically encouraging everyone to troll me):

Betcoin Andrew: 81! That's insane.
Betcoin Andrew: Thanks Post, we are all trying to figure out OHYEAH
Betcoin Andrew: We just can't quite understand what is going on with him? Can someone help explain?
Betcoin Andrew: WE were thinking about having a bonus where the person who logs the most time, logged in and active would win, but OHYEAH would win that daily.

Entire Chat history can be found here : https://www.betcoin.ag/chat/log

Betcoin, you can troll me all day everyday - It may work in the the betcoin chat, but eventually someone will read this that you actually respect and ask you for a response.

Okay, I am sure that once an investigation is concluded, if in fact it were substantiated, the monies would be returned.

You're sure betcoin would return the funds to players...even the ones that never complained?

Even though Betcoin is clearly refusing to make any non-troll comment on this topic. (I've probably asked support close to 50 times over the past 3 months)

Even though I've shared evidence proving that there have been situations when they knew who and how someone was cheating - and refused to do anything other than ask him to apologize?

How about the screen shot we weren’t supposed to see of one Betcoin employee reminding another to block the withdraw request of someone running a 81 player collusion ring?

(hint: if he was banned, they wouldn't need to block his cashout)

Here's some more evidence for you -

This was before I joined, but apparantly last Feb betcoin held a 10BTC freeroll - funded with the money the confiscated from colluders.

Quote
We have been following the play of two players in our cash games for nearly 10 days, studying hundreds of hands and receiving feedback from over 20 players that have played against them. Our findings are very clear that two players are colluding, soft playing and cheating other players. We will always protect the integrity of our poker room and have the best possible environment for our players. Their accounts have been banned and even though neither player has ever made a deposit we are allowing them to keep a small portion of the funds.

The remainder and majority of the funds will be dispersed to players that were cheated and used to host a 10 btc freeroll next Sunday February 15, 2015 to make the message clear that collusion, soft play, and cheating will not be tolerated at Betcoin Poker ever and that swift and decisive action will be taken.

Betcoin sees themselves as the hero here.  They don't understand that just because they catch players cheating other players on their site means they are entitled to do whatever they want with the funds.

Every penny should of been returned to the players as fairly as possible.

But wait -there's more!

Quote
If you suspect collusion, soft play or any type of cheating at anytime, please message us immediately. ZERO TOLERANCE at Betcoin Poker.

Password for the 10 BTC Anti-Collusion Freeroll is: NoCollusion

After the freeroll a player calls out Betcoin for allowing the original cheaters to play in the freeroll.

It seems as if a lot was edited but Betcoin Andrews just blows my mind.

just some food for thought: 1 week after being banned, player da_killa is unbanned after "countless emails back and forth" blablabla. I report him playing again the day he is (silently) unbanned, asking what is up - he is playing on like 6-7 cashgame tables + the anti collusion freeroll (lol) that day. the very next after posting this he magically dissapears and stops playing on the site alltogether after going through all the hoops of being unbanned and instantly jumping into games once he is. so what new screenname did u give him/allow him to create ? because he surely wont stop playing 1 day after he is unbanned. this is ridiculous. please post his and drajls new screennames in here so that he doesnt have an unfair advantage at the tables (again).
Also there still hasnt been any refunds whatsoever besides unbanning the colluder after a few days. solid priorities, tyvm.

whoa just realzed this - "After several emails with this player and banning the other accounts associated," SO BETCOIN ANDREW - WHAT WERE THE OTHER ACCOUNTS ? DRAJL AND DA_KILLA WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES AS U SAID.
i want to know who else cheated me. ill wait one more week for you to at least give us a friggin update here, then ill make this public in other forums. this is simply not acceptable how you treat your customers here. this thread is goin for almost 5 (!!!) weeks now and u silently UNBANNED the cheaters after 1 week BEFORE refunding the cheated. and now simply try to ignore this thread, not having sent refuds after 5 weeks. did you by chance operate one or two of those accounts yourself ? this is ridiculous. why u wont ban them all, name ALL the names u banned , refund the players and move on Huh

wtf betcoin. seriously. at least give us fucking update instead of ignoring this thread!

I encourage everyone to go and read the through the responses to this thread from last February.  They are behaving the same way today, ignoring those who bring up serious issues - and responding/rewarding those who compliment - essentially turning players on each other.

I'm with you on this being the best site for U.S. customers. The bad part to me is that their support needs a serious makeover. The lack of knowledge of their own site and the way they treat customers is reminiscent of asking for assistance at Walmart (aka you might as well masturbate with sandpaper, because at least then you'd get a little satisfaction).

I have a question for people saying this is the best site for US customers...what advantage do you feel Betcoin has over other WPN skins?

These are the advantages:

1)  An exclusive player field for cryptocurrency players alongside the Network's player pool.
2)  Lower minimum deposits.
3)  Lower minimum withdrawals.  Also faster....less stringent document verification.
4)  Acceptance of Litecoin.
5)  The Daily Coin Tourney.
6)  PLUS....everything the WPN has to offer accept "Jackpot SnG's" and "Spin to Get Ins"....

Pretty much this. The ability to play using BTC instead of fiat is a big one. Do the other sites allow you to join BTC-denominated tables?

You can deposit using BTC at some of the skins (mins and max suck though and document verification is still required even with BTC to withdraw) but only Betcoin offers the exclusive Bitcoin tournaments which have a totally soft player pool in my opinion.

Alot of this is not accurate.

I've deposited and withdrawn from 5dimes (the sharktank) BetDSI and Bookmakers.eu without ever providing any documents.  Once I had to wait ~18 hours a couple months ago, but no longer than 6 hours since.  I received a large withdraw earlier today within an hour of requesting it.

I believe you are referring to ACR BCP and TruePoker which I believe require documents - I can't play on those because of the laws in my state , so I'm not sure.

(For those that don't know, Betcoin has not had access to WPN tournaments for a couple weeks now.  I am not going to speculate on whats actually going other than It's unlikely they are giving us the whole story.)

As for the cash games comparison.  Betcoin does have seperate bitcoin only cashgames, but compared to the cash games on the other skins it's a ghost town.

Right now Betcoin has 5 cash games going all of them the equivalent of 30NL or lower.  0 PLO games.  0 SNGs. and one free roll with a $3 ticket for the winner. (30NL = 100big blind max buyin is $30, so .15/.30 blinds)

On 5dimes, BetDSI or BookMaker you could easily play 12 tables of 10NL 25NL 50NL 100NL or 200NL+ - same with PLO!

It's really hard to compare the two, though. When you compare BTC to fiat you're literally comparing apples to oranges. The majority of BTC users aren't playing cash games on ANY BTC-related poker site. Fiat still reigns king there.

My understanding is the other skins convert the BTC to fiat. So you could deposit 1 BTC, make 10% profit, BTC goes up 100% in value, and you've lost 0.45 BTC ($100+10=110/200=$55). At Betcoin, you could have deposited 1 BTC, made 10% profit, BTC goes up 10000x in value, and you still have the same BTC (so your fiat value has increased by BTC's value).

I meant these questions.

Have you noticed they are completely ignoring every issue I've mentioned in this thread?

Do you think it's fair for a site to keep funds which have been confiscated from players who colluded or somehow cheated other players?

Do you think Betcoin seizes funds from cheaters?

What do you think they do with them?

I dont want to make big deal about the paying players for compliments thing, just want to make it clear that its entirely possible that many of the posts in this thread which may appear to be unsolicited and unbiased could be motivated by a monetary reward in reality.

I do appreciate someone who disagrees actually taking the time to say something other than "betcoin is awesome what are you talking about idiot"

Okay, I am sure that once an investigation is concluded, if in fact it were substantiated, the monies would be returned.  As far as collusion, that's a very hard claim to substantiate in tournament play because collusion is an inherent and strategic part of the tournament style of play...try playing the SnG's at Bovada and you'll see what I mean, it's the worse site on the internet as far as collusion goes.

As far as posts in this thread being less than sincere because they want to receive a stipend for their post...I'd agree with you accept....I truly believe that Betcoin is the best site there is for US players at the moment.  I still play at them all depending on their game schedules.  I've been playing online poker for a very long time, and aside from some software issues, Betcoin is by far the most advantageous site to play on at the moment for a whole list of reasons.  Believe me...I'd be the first to start yelling foul if I believed otherwise....all over 2plus2, Cardchat, Bitcointalk....etc.
