Was I here talking with somebody about Doku or in SB chat, don't remember but I thought he was getting 1 pointer today and was very close with the prediction. In the end yellow card and and sub before min 60 got him 0 points. Perfect example of why it isn't worth chasing past points.

@igebotz Sterling looked good today. Is it usual state of things or just today? Thinking to take him after their fixtures turn better. What happens with Palmer minutes after Nkunku gets back? What happens with his penalties? Nkunku was the one before the injury but Palmer scored 4 already, that must count for something, and three of those were against Arsenal, Spurs and City if I am not mistaken Fans will remember those things.

This GW winner is Abiiiii12, congrats on monster 95 points which got you second place in the league as well. Tsimikas and JWP coming up for you big time today. Not seeing you here often which is a shame, love a good banter and first 4 players behind me are not very vocal here. If igebotz was that high he would drop threats every week to pile the pressure on me  Grin

Newcastle missed following players today (copied from livescore so probably correct):
Harvey Barnes
Dan Burn
Matt Targett
Callum Wilson
Alexander Isak
Elliot Anderson
Jacob Murphy
Sven Botman
Sandro Tonali
Bruno Guimaraes

Just check their bench on site like livescore. Apart from Livramento and Dubravka, all kids. CL and fatigue taking their toll. Lewis Miley in first 11 also a kid. Trippier losing nerves at the and arguing those points with supporters.
Now I see why they lost.
I don’t get a chance to see the game but, looked it up on the FPL results and it was very shocking to note that they lost by 2 goals to nothing.
Isak had been king gone and with Wilson as an addition, they’re sure to have difficult times facing Bournemouth and have any chance of success.

The UCL like you said could possibly be the issue with them as, they’ve got to present there very best and with no team depth to cover for any strain in the squad, what you see in the line ups could be there best possible option.

Trippier having to come up with just a single point, that’s just bad for my squad right now.
Maddison didn’t get to feature on my squad and I’m hoping FPL does the next best thing with a sub of my highest point but, I can only see them bringing in Kabore being my first sub and with a single point as well, FPL though!

Newcastle United is losing 2-nil to fucking Bournemouth after disorganizing Manchester United and Arsenal.
Newcastle players have had a very busy past few weeks with the many tough games they have had to play both in the premier league and cha, pions league. They looked Fatigued to me.
Newcastle did not even had enough senior players to field first 11 and keep everyone playing on their position. This was sort of expected and I am pissed for not making a bet on Bournemouth after seeing the line ups.

At least Saka played - but looks like a terrible round in the making for me.
No Ben White and No Martin Ødegaard in the game, I did not expect much from Havertz who has barely been able to fill into the shoes of Martin Ødegaard and do for Arsenal what Martin Ødegaard does for us.

Tottenham lost, Pedro scored the only goal, and a potential 13 point week was squandered in 90+ minutes; Son has another blank week;
No James Maddison to thread in neat passes for Son to Chase.

I liked your squad quite much. However Gabriel made me lose many points this season. Whenever I thought about transferring him Arteta kept him on the bench. Because of this I don't think about transferring him again this season. By the way what are your opinions about Hwang Hee-chan? In my opinion he is a player with scoring potential.
I am quite sure Gabriel plays vast majority of matches, if he misses one here or there no biggie, I have a bench to cover him.

Hwang is ok, but he is much better when Neto is fit and then I would rather take Neto Smiley Don't know what it is about this Wolves squad, don't really rate them as bad or good, just avoiding them so far this season.

Seems like another bad GW in making. No returns so far for me but most of my players are on stage tomorrow so still time to change that.

My team really looks like shit for this GW.

Maddison, Estupinan and Stones injured, Saka doubtful for the game. Tsimikas doubtful to start.
It's possible I'll play with 9 players, from which one will be Semenyo.

I have some construction going on in my apartment and no option to sit down in peace and use a wildcard. Should have done it ages ago though.

Everyone is having an average week; Tottenham lost, Pedro scored the only goal, and a potential 13 point week was squandered in 90+ minutes; Son has another blank week; and Newcastle United is losing 2-nil to fucking Bournemouth after disorganizing Manchester United and Arsenal. Tomorrow's games ( Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City ) is everyone's hope. BTW, how did you keep Maddison on your team after hearing about his injuries early on? What happened to John stone?

It seems to have been a defense game for Arsenal today, with Saliba and Zinchenko on the score sheet. Saka don’t seem yo be so phenomenal no more to produce great quality and needed goals. His unfitness and how the game seems to revolve around him makes it really difficult to get points.

It's just a matter of time before he gets out of a lot of teams, multiple options are becoming available yet again, choices like Eberechi Eze and Micheal Oliseh are back for Crystal Palace, and they were quite a dependable options when fully fit.

White with a knock today, I did not even know about that one.
So, my defence is White, Estupinan, Stones (all injured), Tsimikas (probably won't start) and Coufal. Brilliant.

At least Saka played - but looks like a terrible round in the making for me.

I can't remember what a really good game week looks like again to be very honest, it's been a very long while for me, Lol!

.

I hope it doesn't end up like the last time, where he had to miss more matches due to that, he's already made the line up though, I presume it was just a minor issue and FPL injuries notification (the yellow one) is just misleading as it often is the case.

I really hope Rasmus Hojlund can replicate the form he display in the UCL during the midweek.
If that be Saka being referred, we are sure to have him in regular play but, Maddison is out for the rest of the year.

Tottenham’s lose today just shows how much work he was doing for the team, they couldn’t hold on to an offensive game and were often subjected to pressure by the Wolves team, conceding 2 late goals to deprive me of good 6points on Son and Pedro Porro zero clean sheet, Spurs did this one.

I think the issue with Saka isn’t one that would leave him on the bench, he will very much be featured on the pitch although, Maddison seems to be the bane of most of us. Didn’t keep track on him until it was late past the limited time for transfer. I’m just hoping one of my benched players like Kabore or Edouard gets good points to substitute for Maddison.

I rally should have brought Mbeuno in, would be looking forward to that possibility in GM13 and the chances of getting Haaland back on my squad. Last GW11 was so out of expectation.

EDIT:
It just wasn't meant to be for Hojlund, was it ? I mean he had quite an amount of decent chances, and he took some of them really the best way any striker possibly could but Kaminsky was just never going to let it slide.

So who did you all captain?

I imagine most of us did Haaland (C)  Salah (V).
I'm giving the armband this GW to Saka, he's a bit of a risky choice as it wasn't sure if he will start, just got confirmed that he will, now I am hoping for a hat trick! heheh..

Edit: just finished my transfers for the week and I am quite happy with the team. Should be good going forward. Be prepared Martinelli will go nuclear today, I was switching between him or Bowen for Maddison and landed on Bowen. Gonna regret this one but took it because of xMins. Also gives me a nice amount of cash in the bank for future transfers.

Halaand (C) against Chelsea? No way ! If there's one club that he finds it difficult to score against is Chelsea and I'm not sure anything would change tomorrow. The best bet this weekend is Salah against Brentford.

I couldn't decide between Onana and Areola. Both have easy games, but I believe Westham will beat Nottingham Forest with clean sheet.

Largely unchanged, I'm sticking with C Wilson, my hero.
Callum Wilson in my option seems to be the better striker than Isak , but why does the manager always play Isak ahead of Wilson???

Atm Wilson is enjoying some game time because Isak is injured and once his bad it's back to bench warming.
Wilson is one of the best strikers in the league when fit, but he is really injury prone and he can't play a game every three days. Isak is first striker on the paper but even before injury, Wilson had more minutes in PL and Isak played more in CL.

Wilson is also more than capable of scoring even when coming from the bench and getting 20-30 minutes.

That being said we are entering congested holidays schedule and 90+ minutes players that play every available minute will be more valuable than ever. So I am trying to get as many as possible into my team, you know who I am talking about, guys like: Salah, Fernandes, Bowen, Eze.... Would include Saka in the list but seems to me Arteta forced him a bit too much and he is always playing with some minor injuries. Seems likely he will need a game or two off.

for the gw12 i had to make 2 transfers and sold my two injured tottenham players Maddison and Richarlison and traded them for two other midfielders (Mbeumo (brentford) and Douglas Luiz (aston villa))
on the other hand i hope that Saka (arsenal) will not miss out after all and will get his chance to play

Right, so I know I cleared out Brighton players because of their slide (I'm with Trofo, don't be tempted by Estupinan once he returns) but now I had to move Maddison out (seems ankle injury is weeks recovery), I thought, okay, fine, let's give Mitoma another chance, surely against the worst team in the league he smacks them good, no?
Brighton without Estupinan seem to be a different team altogether and it's for this reason I have transferred out all Brighton assets to avoid disappointments they keep delivering!! Though interestingly they showed some heart in the Europa games and and do deserve a second chance.. Mitoma isn't a bad addition too..
