what happened to you, I can not go to my account?
Hi gosha@e-coin, when i try to login i get the message "Our application is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience."
I think when you plan "a scheduled maintenance" it would be nice to notify users beforehand for the date and duration of the maintenance via a message in your site front page or login page and by posting here.
now more then 7 hours scheduled maintenance goes, I starting to regret that related to this service

There is currently an issue with login, we are looking into it.
As long as resolved, will address the 2FA for your account, too
I see that you are implementing CloudFlare protection but i get Error 525 "SSL handshake failed. It appears that the SSL configuration used is not compatible with CloudFlare. This could happen for a several reasons, including no shared cipher suites." so your site is not accessible right now.
Page shows:
Browser is working -> Amsterdam CloudFlare Working -> www.e-coin.io Host Error

Are you under DDoS attack or just started to implement CloudFlare protection proactively ?
Inform us with a post when the situation is back to normal operation.

EDIT: I just managed to log-in with no trouble. I think the situation is ok now.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Please, try now
I tried just now but the login process is crawling, so after a long time when i am prompted to enter the 6 digit 2FA code and i enter it, the validation takes a lot of time and i get an error message that my 6 digit code is invalid. Probably has expired due to long processing time in your back end system. So i cannot login. I emailed tech support also.

EDIT: I tried 4 times to login but the 2FA authentication step fails and it takes a lot of time to validate and display the error message.

The problem of Bitcoin debit card is fee
high fee

could you be a bit more specific, please? The fees are not that much different from what you get with a bitcoin exchange (after adding all the bank transfer commissions, etc), but you get the speed and convenience, and no need for bank accounts, etc.

i talk about the fee for create new debit card

it is a one-off cost of the card, and it is charged by the issuing bank. When you verify your account and can use the card to load with and spend hundreds and thousands of dollars, the initial cost of the card itself is quite negligible. It would probably make sense to keep it even if it didn't cost anything - simply keep people from ordering a free card for the collection and never using it

Hi gosha@e-coin, I think you must rename the topic title to "[ANN] e-coin Bitcoin debit card" and also to edit in the first post the price of the card and to mention that the beta phase is over.
So far i'm very satisfied with the e-coin debit cards that i use for 3 weeks without any problem but i will wait for 2 months of full usage to post a detailed review.

good point, mate, done.

Look forward to your full review!

I'm in the US and just received my bit-x card. I don't have much in there but I'm hoping to fill it with btc goodness:)

Thought they said no cards to the US?
bit-x cards are not e-coin cards. I think @BlueYozakuraBTC posted in the wrong thread...

Yes, he did. He was talking about the Bit-X debit card: https://card.bit-x.com

Checked the first post for the fees but did not see any fee for foreign currency conversions. I take it there is a fee involved for this should the purchase not be in one of the main currencies in which the card is provided.

If there is such a fee could you perhaps update it on the first page. Guess it might be mentioned somewhere in this 30 odd pages of the thread.

you are correct. FX conversion fee (charged by Visa/issuing bank) is applied when you use the card for purchases in a currency different from the currency of the card. It is 3% - quite a standard figure in the industry.

Thanks for the update and yes, was expecting around 3% as that is pretty much the standard. Will go through all the details of this card and compare a bit as I like the fact that there are hardly any limits once verified.
