Checked the first post for the fees but did not see any fee for foreign currency conversions. I take it there is a fee involved for this should the purchase not be in one of the main currencies in which the card is provided.

If there is such a fee could you perhaps update it on the first page. Guess it might be mentioned somewhere in this 30 odd pages of the thread.

you are correct. FX conversion fee (charged by Visa/issuing bank) is applied when you use the card for purchases in a currency different from the currency of the card. It is 3% - quite a standard figure in the industry.

Seems interesting. If this gets the recognition of a well-known member, I might test it out some time.

there are quite a few well-known members using the card - if you scroll up a few pages

Which exchange or what method do you use to get the BTC/USD price and substract from it the 2% fee to calculate the live rate you display in the site front page?

we pick the best rate available to us among several exchanges

Please allow shipping of the card to the United States, I would love you so much.

unfortunately, it is not that easy and quick.
We hope to find a solution before the end of the year, but nothing confirmed yet..

How come?

this is due to regulatory limitations. Not all banks can issue cards to US addresses

What kind of card is it ?? is it connected to wallet ?or bank ?
and which countries are accepting it ? can someone post the list .

It is a normal Visa debit card issued by a bank but linked to your bitcoin wallet. It is accepted in all countries, anywhere Visa is accepted. It cannot be shipped to all countries though (yet).
The full list of countries where it can be shipped is available in the first post of this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-debit-card-917350

The limits increase dramatically??? Now I get scared  Shocked

Depends on the context obviously )

But $2000 ATM withdrawal per day and unlimited online/POS spend is quite good for the wide majority of people

Also your yearly lifetime $1k limit is just laughable.
...

this is just for ATM withdrawals
and, most importantly, it is the limit for unverified accounts. It is that low or about that low for any anonymous prepaid card.
Once you verify your account, the limits increase dramatically

Is there a problem with issuing cards to the USA?

Sorry but I don't trust anything 'newbie' accounts say about services on this forum due to the HUGE number of scams going on.
Only full or long standing members can be trusted here. Even then those accounts can be bought so still have to tread lightly.

Our bank cannot issue cards to the USA for the time being. The cards can be used there, but can only be shipped to addresses outside the USA. We hope to overcome this limitation in the near future, but don't have any definite timeline for that as yet

All right, thanks

Still waiting for reviews of non Newbie members though.

I consider myself a decently trusted member, and I can vouch for E-coin.io.
