Bitcoin is a trash because it doesn't have any useful functions and it is still alive because of the community, but I believe it will finish soon. At the same time, Ethereum has useful functions and a lot of business use it today so Ethereum will become more popular in the future.
In General, this is an interesting comparison. Well, then it is not only the king and Queen, and afterwards the father and eldest son, I think this comparison is more appropriate.

I won't say that Ethereum is Queen. If to be honest, Etherium is a more progressive and technological blockchain than Bitcoin. At a minimum, there is ability to create smart contracts and significantly faster transactions. But Bitcoin is still very popular today. And probably will be popular for a long time. So for fun, bitcoin can be called a King, and even Ethereum can be called a Queen. But only for fun, in my opinion

Yeah I am agree on that.Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency now and since eth is developing and increase also it was to next to bitcoin.Eth has also a good potential in a good standard in the market.And we all know that it has a brighter future like bitcoin thats why we called it eth a queen .
Nope, they are both king in there own ways because the community showed big support in these crytos to become leading in the field.
I strongly agree with bitcoin as king, but not ethereum as queen.

If you judge from the side of capitalization - you are right. I hope Bitcoin will remain the crypto №1 for a long time. But as for ETHEREUM, i`m not sure that it will be the Queen (as you said) even for 1-2 years. ETH have a lot of competitors but still remains the biggest blockchain with working smart-contract system.
I agree with bitcoin is the king and ethereum is the queen in digital coins based on the capitalization of marketcap the data is here https://coinmarketcap.com/ but i don't agree if ethereum is the queen in blockchain activity check on here https://blocktivity.info/ because there are other alternative coins that has good potential in the future to replace the ethereum is like steemit and EOS platform.
Very strange comparison. I have a slightly different comparison. I think that crypto-currencies are the same projects as in real life. If we take bitcoin, then it seems to me that it is a kind of fiat money without which in crypto currency is simply nowhere, and ETH is the foundation for the city on which buildings are built.
I agree! You have a good metaphor using king and queen with the highest rank of coins. If you were to continue that what whould be the jack, joker and so on? For me, if i would use coins as metaphor in something it would be bitcoin as the tree and eth as the first branch and stems for other coins decending.

Right now, Bitcoin is the King. No doubts about that. Very less people have heard about Cryptocurrency, Altcoins, Blockchain etc. etc., but even my granddad knows about Bitcoin (its a different matter he thinks it is all a scam)
Ether: Queen?
Again right now, Ether is the queen. No coin other than BTC can challenge Ether. Main reasons:
The Long Term
No one knows where the things will stay in the long term i.e. 5, 10, 20, 50 years. But for now, at least till the end of 2018, I feel BTC is the king and ETH is the queen.

King and Queen of cryptos? Then yes, everything revolved around bitcoin and ethereum is right behind it. Fiat is usually converted into these two coins, so these two won't go away for a bit until other adoption of other coins happens.
Absolutely agree, they're taking the 1st and 2nd position in the coinmarketcap right now and seems like there will be no currencies can beat them at all.
Maybe they are called king and queen because of the supporters and projects who adapts them. Of course there are altcoins which have some good features but we cannot deny that these evolved from btc and eth

If the two coins that I might agree, but it was too high a price if in my opinion for now. for the next coin if that could overtake both of these coins? I would expect the actual ripple and maybe to coin this one needs to be patient.
