Both having a potential in a future but as I choose only one I think bitcoin is much better because prices highly fluctuated. They are different platform as well that shows more acceptable with people.

Actually a lot of coins are good now, if comparing Bitcoin and Ethereum it is clear that Bitcoin still far outperforms Ethereum from market share.It could be that someday Bitcoin falls and there is an altcoin that replaces it or it could happen that the price of Bitcoin reaches a price of "0".
Currently the Ripple is an interesting coin, because when the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum falls the price of Ripple tends to be stable and also rise. We cannot determine who is the best because they have different characteristics. But for now or a decade ahead Bitcoin will still be number one.

I don't think any of them is the future of the industry, though Ethereum is the second generation blockchain protocols with some features that can't be find in bitcoin network but be it as it is, the future of the industry will be determined by more flexible platforms with use cases that can easily be adopted by the public.

Why compare these two things, if you have to do this, you must choose Bitcoin. Ethereum has many competitors, but bitcoin is different. Bitcoin is a coin with an investment belief. Therefore, I prefer to support Bitcoin between the two of them.

I think Bitcoin will surely be the future of crypto as it is the first of all crypto and is considered master of all crypto available in the market. It is way more popular than any altcoin including ethereum and has higher acceptamce than all other coins available in the market. It has tremendous amount of potential to grow in the future and you can easily expect it's price to be around 30-40k $ within 2-3 years for sure. Ethereum in the other hand is one of good projects available in the market and it can really skyrocket in the future but is nowhere as valuable and precious as Bitcoin. I don't think it will be able to replace Bitcoin.

we go back to the beginning to see Bitcoin being the first to be born in cryptocurrency and to date it ranks first with a very high price because of its quality. over time altcoin appears that continues to grow and each has different advantages such as Ethereum which is the most prominent development. speaking for the future I think both are equally good but the most dominant is Bitcoin.
