Obviously, because of the cheaper price, I would suggest you to start from litecoin, and when you would learn some training techniques and some market specifics, you can move on to Bitcoin.
I will choose bitcoin over litecoin any day. Bitcoin is widely recognized and has good utility. Its worldwide adoption is amazing.

I agree. They have their own pros amd cons that you can surely can some people supporting Bitcoin and some supporting Litecoin. i will choose bitcoin. litecoin needs to improve and develop more. it needs to reach the maximum capacity before i choose it. as of now i will go for the bitcoin. yup those 2 coins have a potential to grow even the bitcoin needs to grow. but in this situation i will choose bitcoin. They are both really good but bitcoin is the most well known coin here and i will stay with the bitcoin.
