Bitcoin would be still high and ETH will i think have a higher price than its having now. I think it will be around 1k at least because ETH is now getting a lot of support from everyone.

I believe ETH will surpass bitcoin because their technology is already better than the technology of bitcoin and i believe it can even go better than that and i even think bitcoin will go down eventually and ETH will be on the top forever.

Although ETH has gained popularity and there has boost in its price within few years and has the largest market cap after bitcoin but still it can't compete with bitcoin in the long run as well as in present because BTC price are very high and and inspite of many hard forks bitcoin remains the leading crypto.But Ethereum also has potential to grow so you can invest in both but prefer the larger part to be invested in king of crypto btc so you can enjoy the benefits of both in future
That indeed is a great question i do not know about it much but i think ethereum will surpass bitcoin but we never know if that can happen for sure because if you just look at the price than ethereum has a long way to go but the technology of ethereum is way better.
Interesting question. I know that Ethereum has the potential also to boom BUT ethereum will not take over bitcoin. I can say that ethereum is a good for long term investment than bitcoin since ethereum price now is still low compare to bitcoin. But ethereum will not take the top 1.
What i can thought of is simply bitcoin that will be the one which having skyrocketing prices in 5 more years. because you can say that bitcoin is kinda elder that many people respect itself

I don't agree with you. Bitcoin dev team is very competent and dedicated. To be honest I don't even think you can say ethereum has a dev team. They have one person making all the calls, ant not really a team. Not saying he is not good, because he is, just saying that bitcoin has a dev community, and ethereum has a leader, so they are much more centralized than bitcoin if you think about it.
As for miners, they will be where the profit is. That means that they will make a few jumps from time to time, from BTC to BCH as the difficulty adjusts, but all of will stop being a problem to the network as soon as the Lightning Network gets developed.
I don't think bitcoin and ethereum are competing, and both will be profitable, but since BTC is the true store of value coin, I would put my money in bitcoin and not ethereum.

I am going to say that it will always be bitcoins because they have a headstart they are way too expensive than ethereum and as they grow in the market lately they are getting higher and higher unlike ethereum where they are still on their value and not even increasing. But if you are looking for a muvh cheaper coins but successful I will recommend to you the ethereum because I know that in the future they will be expensive but if that happens bitcoins will pump too so bitcoins are far ahead to them so nothing can stop bitcoins for me.

of course the answer is bitcoin because bitcoin price could be higher than today and if we invest right now, i think the price will be double in next year and we don't have to wait until 5 years. but for me, i think i want to invest bitcoin and ethereum because i think bitcoin and ethereum can give me big profit in future and if 5 years from now the price is increase higher, then i am sure that i can make a lot of profit. but we can not compare between bitcoin and ethereum because the ethereum price is too cheap depend bitcoin and its need more years to become expensive like bitcoin.
Definitely, I believe ETH still have some chance to grow with some of the developments going on and I can see that it is already becoming very relevant as much as bitcoin by staying on that second position for a while, but to be able to catch up in growth with bitcoin and even be able to give investors as much as bitcoin would, I totally doubt that. All the above, it is not a bad idea having some of it as no one knows what the future holds for this coin as well.

Which coin is the most profitable will depend largely on when you invested, I think that if you invested before the bull run that we had with altcoins at the begining of the year there could be a possibility that ETH could be more profitable after 5 years but if you are investing now it seems to me bitcoin is going to give better profits for the simple reason I see bitcoin gaining a lot more popularity in the next 5 years.

I think 5 years won't be enough for Etherium to beat Bitcoin and to be more profitable. It will need more than that. The market value of Bitcoin is way higher tha. the value of Etherium. And as the value of etherium is getting higher, same thing happens with the value of Bitcoin. So Etherium needs to have a higher rate of increase. And the coin who will have a larger value will be more profitable

If you will ask me then i will go with BTC as ETH is not reliable and anyone can mess with it. Recent attack on its blockchain is the proof that anyone with non technical knowledge person can also mess with ETH. BTC is fully protected

Yes, we all expect that Bitcoin will be will high as well in the future together with Ethereum. And to those who say that bitcoin cash will take over soon, I doubt it. What we see yesterday is nothing but an attack by few unscrupulous individuals. nothing more. And now look at what is happening, BCH is dropping fast and investors going back to bitcoin. They are not successful at their attempt, they just disrupted the network and the system. Look for bitcoin to be around $50K in 5 years.

I prefer bitcoin than ethereum. although etherium is more stable than bitcoin, but the price of bitcoin is higher than etherium. therefore, investing in bitcoin is more profitable rather than ethereum.
Ethereum is more reliable and stable than anyone else, at least only 2 pieces of Ethereum:) I estimate that bitcoin will split into 10 pieces after 5 years. That's why Ethereum is safer.
