Bump to say that CES2013 starts on the heels of WSOBP VIII.

I competed in it a couple years ago, did terribly but was definitely a fun time.  It's quite a spectacle.

BitPay, Butterfly Labs, and Bitcoin Magazine are doing great things for the promotion of bitcoin.

Thank you

and I think CES its right place to show up new BFL ASIC hardware products

What new BFL ASIC hardware?  As far as I can tell this is advertising vaporware.

Would be the best place to actually show some asic hardware or working prototypes at least!

I do not know whether it will be there but I think it's a good place and time.

I just noticed that Mt Gox is not in the mix this year.

It's really great to see the collaboration amongst businesses in this community. Smiley

Were there ever startups coming together to create an email protocol booth at an event like this 20 years ago?

Ah good idea, let me see if I can get my hands on a couple NEFT oilcans.  we don't have much table space for giveaways.

Looks to me there's enough space to store a couple dozen cans under the booth to be only dispersed to selected media folk or somebody you feel will take Bitcoin to the next level. (and hide the stash with the magazines)

At CES, it's not the location of booth, but the presentation of the swag that makes it a success.

Seriously, Tony, besides Bitcoin Magazine, what other swag are you guys planning on distributing? (just an 'I wonder' question)

Looks like a good booth plan for the CES crowd.

Not really. They're not at the LVCC, but at the Sands Convention Centre. That's like half an hour away from the "real" CES.

The Venetian is where all the startups are located, and it is where all the major companies go to scout emerging technologies.  Most of those types of people don't bother going to see the main hall with Justin Beiber and 50 Cent.  We are absolutely in the right location for the people we want to reach.
I agree, the main hall is the general and flashy crap but the Venetian and other satellite locations are where the money people go.
