IPL will end with the final match tomorrow. Congratulations to SaShiRaJaVu, for winning the pool!!! Since he is having a 4 point difference with the second placed player, it is confirmed that he will win the pool. It was a really splendid performance, after performing badly in the initial rounds. I am happy with my two wins in the initial rounds. Thanks to everyone for their support and cooperation!!

Did you picked RCB because Wriddhiman Saha was not there in the SRH playing XI? I would say that SRH was a more balanced side, even without Saha. Among all the teams, SRH seems to be having the most balanced bowling attack, in both the pace and spin departments. Rashid Khan is so economical, even if he hasn't picked a lot many wickets. And even without Saha, their batting is quite strong with the inclusion of Warner, Pandey and Williamson.
The reason for picking RCB was exactly the reason i knew will happen and it was evident against DC, put a good total on the board and they will struggle as they failed to chase games that were fairly easy to chase and i understand they have many injury issues but they had a bad day in the field and lost the match.

The moment Marcus Stoinis came out to open the innings i knew i made the wrong pick and on top of that SRH had a bad day in the field giving away runs that could have stopped considering the level of cricket they were playing and i have seen them giving away free 20 runs in the form of spinners bowling no balls and ball going under the fielder and you cannot win match in a situation like that.

^^ You happy now @Pffrt  Grin

At first i thought the same that DC were 15-20 runs short as SRH made a good comeback in last 2 overs, momentum was shifting towards SRH but Rabada and Stonis were too good for them. Now its safe to say Stonis going to open in the Finals that means no Shaw or Rahane at the top order.

DC couldn't score as expected from the beginning. It was expected to have 200+ scores the way they were playing but the last two overs were shit to be honest. Well, the score is good enough to defend and road DC toward the final. I won a lot of bets but lost 3 at once in the last over.
DC to score 195+
DC to have 5+ sixes
DC to have 17+ fours

Have Fun )@@( Stay Safe
I had risked my 3rd place in last match and so does today. Have picked DC to have a comfortable win as they had really bad performance in the last few matches and I believe they will get back to their old form. Tough call but had to pick.
Surprisingly, Stoinis has started today and having good performance.
Looking at the match and the surprising changes DC made in this match, it is possible they will put a huge total on the board and they had a dream start and SRH was leaking runs in the field in the form of miss fielding and over throws and missed the catch of Stoinis. The middle order worries of SRH are exposed in the last match and i am surprised to see that they are in a position fighting to be in the final even though 4 or 5 players are injured like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Marsh and Wriddhiman Saha that i remember.

Finally DC lost their first wicket courtesy of a wonderful delivery from Rashid Khan.

SRH.... DC yet to win any game against SRH in this season.
Not even against Capitals but now i want them to win this season as well. Tough task against the Mumbai but it would be really nice ending.

Right now Mumbai Indians looks like they are miles ahead of the other teams. They have only one vulnerability, and that is in their spin bowling (I think they need to get a quality spinner for the next season). Their batsmen have performed better than expected and the bowlers (in particular Bumrah, but also Boult and Pattinson as well) have also performed splendidly. To be frank, it is very difficult to imagine SRH defeating MI.
MI relies only on their Pacer, earlier it used to Malinga-Bumrah, now its came down to Bumrah-Boult. I thing they are going to retain Chahar once again but it doesn't hurt if they buy another leg spinner in next auction.

My fingers are crossed for tonight, got bet on SRH and tbh its freaking unpredictable despite SRH looking strong.... so would focus on one thing at a time, will discuss MI vs SRH later if SRH manage to win the game.

Iyer surprised me by choosing bat first tho.

So guys, whom are you favoring in today's match? I would go with Sunrisers Hyderabad, as they are having a good momentum. During the initial phases of the tournament, I was thinking that Delhi Capitals may end up as champions. But they performed in an appalling manner during the late stages. I expect an one-sided match today, in which SRH will thrash the Delhi Capitals.

SRH had a great comeback; at the beginning, we didn’t count them as qualified as they were losing match at a streak and was standing below of the table almost. KKR was the 4th team but thanks to MI last match against SRH.
In the last match, Warner won the 8th toss (11 I guess) in this season and only Rohit and Dhoni had same winnings of toss and surprisingly both of the team won IPL in respective years.
Are you thinking the same as of me?

Not really, their batting is so poor (you can say off formed though). Just recently Manish Pandey is back with form. Warner wasn’t so good. Only Saha had a good performance although he played very few matches. They don't have a batsman who can take innings if they lose early wickets. Imagine, Williamson was gone yesterday and SRH wouldn’t be able to win the match.

I would put it this way...

SRH is playing like a team, every player doing their bits for the team on different occasion, check their MOM data.

David Warner scored 546 runs so far in 2020 edition (only KL is ahead of him 670 runs), he's yet to get MOM award
Jason Holder gave good performance with the bat on the lower order and bowled exceptionally well so far, no MOM award yet.

Poor batting? Nonsense. This is the same team that whooped MI by 10 wickets recently. They don't have the best batsmen, but they have several batsmen who are capable of finishing games on their own.

Vijay Shankar and Pandey helped them defeat RR recently quite comfortably. SRH batsmen aren't as consistent as MI batsmen, but they aren't bad either.

Their in-form batsmen and bowlers helped them reach the semi-finals and they have the potential to win the cup this season primarily due to the inclusion of Holder who is an excellent all-rounder.

Yes i changed my pick in the last moment, i picked SRH initially but when i saw the team i knew they would struggle if RCB would put a par score but that did not happen  Cheesy, a few more runs and RCB would have won that.

You really made good progress from the last two rounds. At the starting everyone as picking on Vishnu that he was fixing matches and you must be laughing your own at that time. :-D
I was not in a position to watch the matches in the beginning and hence was not able to pick them properly and i never thought about catching up when i started watching the matches under quarantine  Cheesy.

Everyone had picked SRH (Did Rajavu just change his pick?). But I have gone with RCB as it will give me some advantage to beat webtricks if RCB won.
Surprisingly, Virat has started with Padikkel tonight. What do you think? A good idea?

And today the big mistake of RCB was the huge Kohli opening pairing with Padikkel.  It would have been great if Virat Kohli had gone down one and given the opening to Aaron Finch.
This is what I felt was where RCB messed up. They could never find the right team combination till the end. Finch, Ali etc were included suddenly and Kohli opening wasn't the right call strategically.

Most of their batsmen have disappointed through out the season while their bowlers were decent. I wonder how much longer Bangalore fans can wait for their team to win the cup.

I already knew that RCB would lose this match. If you evaluate the results of the last few seasons, you will see that RCB has never played a high voltage match well.  And I never liked their team combination.  You can't win a match just by batting and you can't win a match just by bowling.  I think RCB should learn by watching Mumbai Indians.  What a beautiful team they form.  And today the big mistake of RCB was the huge Kohli opening pairing with Padikkel.  It would have been great if Virat Kohli had gone down one and given the opening to Aaron Finch.

Many chose RCB too which seems to be the wrong choice at the moment since SRH destroyed their batting line-up clinically though it remains to be seen if SRH can chase down the target effectively too.

The biggest blow to SRH was Saha getting injured. Bhuvi was injured sometime back which is why luck isn't favouring them a lot, but they are still performing regardless.
