Everyone had picked SRH (Did Rajavu just change his pick?). But I have gone with RCB as it will give me some advantage to beat webtricks if RCB won.
Surprisingly, Virat has started with Padikkel tonight. What do you think? A good idea?

followed by harsh punishment to Rohit Sharma.
What's wrong with him? Did I miss anything?
He already had big tummy and was quite slow running between the wickets and fielding. Now dude gaining more weight on regular basis, which you don't expect from the international players in modern cricket.

These are not tummies still very good for cricket because they are still very fit for business. Smiley

Now i am waiting for poetic ending. SRH beating RCB today then DC and thrashing MI in the finals. MI stacking IPL trophies like crazy it should end here and followed by harsh punishment to Rohit Sharma. (No more vada pav and stay on treadmill_policy)
Lol. Rohit is stacking his tummy these days and needs to focus more on fitness like Virat etc, but you can never count him out. SRH winning the trophy would be epic.

And your isn’t going to come true I think. SRH may win today's match but I doubt it will be that easy to win against DC. DC lately having really stupid performance and I would only see the captain who is making the mistakes.
Why not? Anything is possible in the IPL. Many people expected teams like RR and Punjab to qualify in place of SRH, but we all saw the result. SRH has the firepower to take down MI while DC and RCB lack in comparison.

What's wrong with him? Did I miss anything? I'm in hometown, due to slow internet connection I'm not spending much time online.

DC lately having really stupid performance and I would only see the captain who is making the mistakes. Stoinis is more or less regular bowler and he had done some good job for DC, but he was called for only 1 over at 16. While Daniel Sams being expensive from the beginning had bowled 4 overs. That’s stupid decision from the captain.

Well MI's today's performance was the reason why I was saying that MI played really poor in the previous match. Yes they didn't had their two frontline bowlers but yet taking zero wickets was surprising. Nevertheless, I think it's MI's IPL this time again and they now have become the Manchester United and Real Madrid of the Indian Premier League. Moreover this is when Rohit Sharma their Key Player has literally failed to perform this year.

Haha really Stoinis was the lone warrior today for DC. I expected Rishab Pant would stay with him to support him till the end but Rishab Pant has really proven himself to be overrated. I remember people used to use phrases like "Treasure of Talent" for Rohit Sharma back in 2008-10 when he was given numerous chances in the middle order and lower order yet failed to perform for many of his initial matches. People started to think of him as overrrated too but then after the 2013 Champions Trophy he discovered what he actually was. I think Rishab Pant too needs such kind of introspection. His career would end at this point and he would have to live his life as a Ranji Player only if he doesn't performs.

I had pointed this out earlier, but I guess Marcus Stoinis needs to bat a bit higher. No.5 position gives him limited maneuverability. I would have liked to see him at no.4. And yes.. Rishabh was disappointing this season. But so was the rest of the DC batsmen. Even the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer failed big time. The biggest disappointment was Ajinkya Rahane, who made just one 30 plus score this season.

Have Fun )@@( Stay Safe
MI reached the final once again. They are seriously something else. Bumrah will probably claim the purple cap once again by the end of the tournament. However, I feel like we will see a twist and their competitor will probably win against them in the final.
Even i would like to see a change and some other team winning the cup as MI has won this many times  Grin and i do expect SRH to be in the final but MI have the bowlers to restrict the top order and if they loose wickets they have a weak middle order in my opinion but their bowling line up is pretty decent which revolves around Rashid Khan.

Three matches and SaShiRaJaVu is leading with webtricks behind, it was fun and this is by far the toughest IPL to predict as most of the matches were competitive.

DC are struggling currently and they will probably have a hard time against the SRH vs RCB winner. 3 ducks in a row was truly insane.

Why the heck was Sams included? His performances have been consistently horrible. Also, Shaw and Pant have been seriously underwhelming this season.
DC start was very good in this season but end is really horrible as they completely fail to stay on as they started so its really time to think about mistakes which happen and they stick with very few players which is also not good they need to do some good changes in middle which help players for increasing performance but now feelin they are down and out of this competition and most chances we will have SRH in final against MI.

First Mumbai Indian batsmen stole the show on slow pitch now their bowlers creating havoc in Delhi's camp.

Zero minute silence for Capitals.

Also, I still think you can beat Rajavu since the playoff matches usually grant extra points.
Sure anything is possible, next three matches and i can loose all three and everyone will have an opportunity  Wink.
Let's say you really ended up making all worn picks, which is not happening of course :-D

Point remains in total including margin points:  (1.5+1) + (2+1)+ (3+1) = 9.50

webtricks: 50.50
pffrt: 49
deadley and me: 47 each
And the rest of the gang can't even make equal score as you.

You really made good progress from the last two rounds. At the starting everyone as picking on Vishnu that he was fixing matches and you must be laughing your own at that time. :-D
Haha Really that's true I was the one thinking of such allegations. I think maybe he lost his link with his bookies in the later part of the tournament. Grin Grin

Surprised by the fighting spirit shown by Marcus Stoinis. He arrived at the crease, when the score was 0/3. And yet he started attacking from the very first ball. All the other top order and middle order batsmen are gone and just Axar Patel and some of the other bowlers are remaining. But Stoinis has helped himself to 62 till now, from just 41 balls. His treatment of Rahul Chahar was just savage.

Congratulations Rajavu and Haunebu the fight on superbru has been pretty interesting too.
Thank you, i never expected to be on the top when the tournament started as i was not able to watch the matches and i was blindly picking the teams.

The pool is getting interesting. Rajavu is totally out of hand. He got the 1st prize unofficially. Webtricks is well ahead of me but still possible for me to catch him while on the other hand, Royse777 deadly and deal is closest to me.
I just realized that we have 1.5 points for each match now.
If i pick three blunders and if Webtricks pick three straight along with the margin points he could still win it Wink. I have a clear idea on what my last three picks are but i am again missing the margin points, 36 winning picks but just 10 margin.

Delhi top order has been failed to score, otherwise the match could be somewhat interesting. A fantastic partnership from Stoinis and Axar, it's the highest 6th wicket partnership for DC.

Although MI had great batting at middle, tonight it was really bad. They were 86 after 9 but 104 after 13+. Well it was covered by Hardik and Ishan at their best strength (death overs).
DC is having so much hard time and they seems to be losing with a thrashing margin.

^^ Yeah average tournament for Hitman, he needs to stop eating Vada pav now.  Grin

Last 5 overs 78 freaking runs. There is a reason MI is Champion team, Solid batting line up.

Is Rohit the only flop player this season? He really had a bad performance. Ishan was doing good job at starting but he was not replaced.

PS : It was one of the best IPL season in sense of cricket but as a betting it was one of my worst experience. Lot fair amount of money.
Same here. Have won few bets in the middle of the tournament but overall, it wasn’t a good one.

I think viewership itself is the biggest issue. In India there is almost negligible viewership of women's cricket despite of having such brilliant players. We lover to admire these players by reading the news of their score the next day. Rarely anyone would watch it live. This doesn't motivates BCCI to create a full fledged women's IPL they are trying with these small triangular series tactically keeping the matches on rest day of men's matches but yet I don't think the viewership would have gone up that much. Cricket is a profit making business in India no one wants to lose money by organizing a cricket match.

Viewership and revenue could be an issue with WBBL as well. I don't think that it is brining in any profit for the Australian cricket board. But they keep continuing with this tournament, because it beings a lot of exposure and opportunity to the women players. The BCCI also could have done the same and it could have given a lot of media attention to the women's game. But they remain primarily concerned about the revenues.
