Bitmain requiring KYC now? What's up with that? Why all of a sudden they required potential buyers to go through this whole KYC process?

Likely related to their plans to go public.

is it common for bitmain to release china-only products? relatively new to this

any chance this would be available in NA?

Yes, they do that occasionally. They had a GPU miner (G1 I think) that was only ever available in China.

We'll have to wait and see. I'd like to get a couple of those S9 Hydro. If they're as quiet as the C1 was it would be perfect for heating during the winter.

I cannot read Chinese and most of the specs are in picture format so Google translate is of limited use, but I do see 45DBA mentioned. Now weather that is the miner fan, radiator fan, pumps, etc who knows. However is the entire setup only puts out 45DBA this would resurrect home mining where people have affordable electricity.

Yep, rebooted twice... same thing.  Opened a support ticket.  First time dealing with support.  Hopefully it doesn’t take too long.  I can’t bear to lose out on my $3 day.  Haha.  Wink

i sent back to hong kong, once bitmain confirmed received the miner, they send out replacement within 1 week Tongue

They must be talking about $.10 plus per kWh.  Would it surprise anyone here to know that some of us are paying .02 per kWh?

Do they own nuclear power plant

What electricity rate are you basing your very inaccurate and misleading statement off of?

$0.11 per kW
which makes daily electricity cost ~ $0.50 more then BTC sales value
That's the reason I unplugged my S9

Does anyone have any Coupons?  I would like to buy 1 more S9j.

If you don't mind me asking what you gonna do with S9?
Every mining S9 losing aprox $0.50 per day
Isn't just buying BTC mere profitable?

Yep, your right...

It seems Bitmain stopped selling -miners- but is only selling doorstoppers and toasters right now.

Alltough the community seems all fine by these marvelous scam the last 9 months Wink

Hello. The S9 began to disconnect from the pool after 1-2 hours of operation. The S9 itself works. What can be wrong?

Have you tried connecting to other pools to see if you get similar issues?

After that try a different router (often home broadband routers block mining), or connecting via a different network to see if you still have the same issue.

I tried on two different pools. F2p and Nicehash. Internet provider did not change. What pools will advise, where it is possible to test the work of miners?
