Hello:

I have updated Sniffdog (your Blazepool version) and now you can only mine 7 algotithms with this software. Xevan and Tribus have disappeared.

Is there a problem with them?

Hello

There is no problem with few algos missing, Im just wondering why my 2x1080ti rig is so terribly slow with hmq1725 algo.  Wink

So if there is no problem, why has Blazepool removed them in the Sniffdog update?

Thank you

@JukNi The "cold room" explains the low temp.  What's your average x17 hashrate?  Should be in the 40-50MH/s for the 2x 1080ti, are you seeing these values?

X17 gives without any tweaking 34,9 MH/s @ 100% TDP. The "problem" algo is HMQ1725
I did test card by card and both with HMQ1725 algo 100 % TDP, base clock and memery.

GPU #0: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti, 8938.35 kH/s (ccminer-x64-80 -a hmq1725 -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://hmq1725.mine.blazepool.com:3747 -u 1Fo61jU7ewGfqvSPnXLKW8cbqa5nidq3rS -p c=BTC -i 20)

GPU #1: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti, 8912.96kH/s (ccminer-x64-80 -a hmq1725 -d 1 -o stratum+tcp://hmq1725.mine.blazepool.com:3747 -u 1Fo61jU7ewGfqvSPnXLKW8cbqa5nidq3rS -p c=BTC -i 20)

GPU #0: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti, 8170.17 kH/s
GPU #1: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti, 8122.62 kH/s
accepted: 98/98 (diff 0.001), 16.29 MH/s yes!

More intensity will give: "GPU #: unspecified launch failure"

And this is fastest ccminer what I have in my collection. I have tested lots of differend version and "brands" (tpruvot, alexis, nanashi etc...)

My miner isn't seeing Timetravel on Blazepool.

This is one of most profitable last couple days on other pools.  Plan on adding any new algos or coins?

@Max3k  The test rig was a very simple one:  Old Dell computer with Core2Duo6300, 4G of Generic Ram, 1x EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 at stock clock 65%TDP.  Activated Algos were:  neoscrypt, xevan, blake2s, phi, x17, sib, lyra2v2, nist5, skein.  Of course anytime with data like these, luck plays a factor and 24 hour test is way to short to tell true stories of long running averages.

@JukNi you have really cold ambient temp for your rig and open frame?  Reason I'm asking is those temps looks low if you're not running really high fans for 1080Ti @100% TDP.  And from the low returns you got, there's a chance of constant thermal throttling.

That rig is in "cold room" where temp is ~14-17C (can be lowered to -12C), and fans are auto mode and it keeps 42-46% @ 100% TDP and fans 59-64% @ 150% TDP.
According to nVidia Inspector cards are not thermo throttling, voltages (0.963-0.975) and CPU usage (99%) stay really steady.

For example, with a single 1080Ti at stock at 65% TDP, one should get around 0.0005 to 0.0006 in the past 24hrs with some typical selection of algos.
What kind of algorithms and settings bring that income?

@JukNi. Curious, what are the temps of the GPUs?

It hovers 65-72C. Now im going 150% TDP and look what difference it makes if at all. Those are not in SLI config, both works at own.
Dont know how much it matters but im mining from Finland and it may get big latency or something because of that reject %

@JukNi. Thank you very much for trying out Blazepool.  The return that you got on your account is definitely NOT typical of a 2x1080Ti rig.  For example, with a single 1080Ti at stock at 65% TDP, one should get around 0.0005 to 0.0006 in the past 24hrs with some typical selection of algos. Maybe you can post your bat file for troubleshooting here or seek faster response from our Discord.

Im using that ´startblazepool - Multi-GPU Example.bat´ file to start, only deleted yescrypt, lbry and scrypt algos out of there and change my BTC address. Im running 100% TDP because im not the one who pays electricity  Wink

Im totally new in this "business" so every guidance are welcome.

@Blazepool

Can you check what is wrong/messed in my side or your pool, Im guessing that problem is in my rig (xtra small rig 2 x 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme 11 GB). NemosMiner-v2.4.2-2.4.1.b has now worked 24/7 for 7 days and total earn is only 0.00150968BTC. No errors in log files or anything like that. I do get reject shares alot no matter what algo, rejects are ~1.0% up tp 12%. I have tried to use "-m 2" and other fix what I have found in internet, but no luck, no matter if I connect straight from Finland or do I connect VPN to West Coast.
Cards are not OC´d, default 24/7. When I use Zpool with same settings and cards I get much faster earnings.

All solutions are welcome.

@romajc  I think i've seen an online app in the mining forum here that makes use of the api and does the tracking for you.  Let me try to find it.  Will update the post.

Update 1 ...  haven't been able to locate that thread so far...  keep trying...

Yea. I switched to a different miner and works now. Any resources like apps or Excel sheets that I can use the wallet API feature to track income?

@romajc in that case it sounds like a corrupted data file in the stats folder for that machine only.  You may remove the ccminer stats file for neoscrypt and it should bench and run again fine.  Not the first time we see this happening.   Thanks for using Blazepool.

Neoscrypt showing 12million per day on my multi gpu rigs but on my single test rig Neoscrypt works just fine.  All using the same files.  Cannot figure out why.  Nemos

@jphope1234. Thanks for trying the pool out.  If you are on 13 algos the first 2 hours or so was used by the benchmarking of nemos.  You'll find better return once everything settled.  In our tests, interval of 300 seconds is a great choice for 6 1080ti rig.  I'd further recommend reducing some algo, for 1080ti , I'd remove timetravel, hmq1725, hsr, bitcore, groestl, lbry.    This list changes as time goes by.  What I personally do is to have 1 card pointing at all algo and let the algorithms drive that one completely to determine the best algo list, then I point all my other cards at a selection of about 5-6 algos.  I do re-select of algo about weekly.
