Well actually, i won't say it's a waste of time. I think you're mistakenly considering it that way because of the many negative news saying that there are so many scams, so many campaigns are destined to fail, or that there are no new products coming out of the market anymore. It can still be considered a good venture, but you really have to do your homework and find those hidden gem projects that would really burst out of the market as compared to those that are just riding the wave..

some of them are really waste of time. for example social media campaign are usually time wastage. because of participants that join with multiple account. Some signature campaigns are also wase of time when there are so many participants.
but if you can catch one campaign with little participants but succeed in crowdsale, you can get good profit.
In this time its too difficult to catch success project with a little participants. If they are low participants, the project team will cheat us as a bounty and not distribute the full amount of the reward. They will keep the rest for theirselves. I have this experience many time but i could not do anything.

Bounty campaign is not really a waste of time to my own point of view and at the same time it's not a great passive income  because ,if you only registered in a bounty campaign and you did not complete the task or follow the rules and regulations given, you will be given 0 reward at the  end. Moreover not every bounty campaign really stick to their agreement with the bounty hunters, before the campaign started they can promise to give out 2 and when the campaign ends they will only give out just one. So with this, i don't see it as a great passive income nor waste of time.

I can not say that the bounty is bad, I think the most optimal solution today is the normal real work. If you are a developer then you are very much appreciated today in the market, once people understand that it is valuable they immediately begin to study this type of activity.

Bounty is not a passive income.  But this is a good way to earn coins without risk and investment.

yes bounty actually west time some times if you are in both twitter and facebook so before you will finish all of these it will take some week but at the end mostly if the bounty ends very well and the payment is not going to be a problm.

If the ICO is successful, then there will be no issues. But what will happen if the ICO fails? The participants will not be rewarded for months of their efforts and they will be left high and dry. That is why I have always argued for a minimum guaranteed payment for the ICO participants, in either BTC or ETH.

Crypto world is in crysis now and it's not only due to red market but also because of tons of scam ICOs. And that pisses a lot of bounty hunters off cause scam ICOs produce useless unworthy tokens! People waste sometimes several months to participatein bounty and either get no tokens or get shitcoins.

It's so hard now to find a good bounty. eCoinomic.net platform is running one now and it looks pretty solid and trustworthy, they also predict a balanced growth for CNC token https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29799978

But how do you guys know if your bounty is trustable? Why do you personally trust bounty you're participating in right now?
Well bounty campaign is not  a passive income, mining might be but not the bounty campaign, bounty campaign requires a lot of work to gain something so it wasn't a passive. Trusting a certain good manager is the key to have a successful campaign because as of now many people are using the weakness of someone to gain something that is why trust  a campaign that have a good manager so that you have assurance that your hard work and time will become worth it at the end of the campaign that you've join.

It depends.  You have to be selective in what projects you follow or you will be wasting your time.  Right now the crypto market is in the toilet and that means ICO's are taking a beating.  You have to use these moments to actually research the ICO's because only good projects will be worth anything right now.  When the markets were booming, just about everything was returning profits but thats not the case now.

I think airdrops are a waste of time, and bounties are a good way to make money.  I advise you to participate in the bounty.

Bounty used to be no waste of time, but now a days, because of scam and fake ICO s not only bounty even ICO with good plan and vision are also struggling to shine. A great ICO with good project can also fall in shadow because of untrackable and unverifyable  activities hapenning around the crypto world.

Hope for better. Lets improve the market. God bless cryptos.  Roll Eyes

For me, bounty is a good way to make money.  And then I invest the profits in the ICO.

if your sit around and do nothing the whole day bounty campaigns might not be a waste of time. its probably a great passive income for the lazy people and at the same time they cause the price of the coins to drop to make a quick buck and people that actually work for a living loose hard earned money

I won't say bounty campaigns is a waste of time, because if one can work well he would get rewarded after his work. And this reward is usually token and if converted to money then you know you have earned something.

Yes, I agree that bounty is a passive income. We can earn passive income by doing work on the participating projects. We can pick the most and good project just not be scammed that others experienced since they're doing bounty. It is a great help to me for my family.

If you support and believe in the project that you are campaigning for, I don't think it's ever a waste of time.

But if you are joining ico campaign after ico campaign, you are probably going to get burned.
