I almost don't dare to share, but I recently found out I will earn about 18 tokens of a 100m total supply project, after doing well over 150 (unique) tweets and several retweets. Was very fond of the project (still am) and have promoted it every chance I had. Was complimented by their team for all my efforts. Then they postponed their ICO and with it the bounty. No biggie, but I figured I'd start counting stakes and total stakes to find out what I'd earned so far....18 tokens....I was quite shocked and sad. I figured this is my own fault, but little did I know they had accepted over 6000 twitter followers and they had changed the stake rules where those with bigger followings got so much more stakes. I am still promoting the project, but stopped with the bounty (still running). One lesson learned, try and get a good assesment on how much you are able to get for your efforts (and believe me, I work hard, with quality posts and not simply plugging stuff Smiley).

Obviously bounties are losing their worth for a while now. But we can't categorically say it is dead but it may be dieing though.

I think that Bounty does not die, well, at least in 2018, as there are new Bounty and ICO.

I understand why people think that bounty is dead. There are many ico in the market and it is really hard to know weather it is legit or not , most people think that bounty is dead because os scam companies and we cannot blame them ,we know for a fact that there are many scam companies nowadays.

The bounty has not died, but the bounty has become more and more boring. The low-quality tokens can no longer attract more people. I have seen a bounty participant’s signature campaign for 3 months. It’s ridiculous to only exchange tokens worth 0.01 ETH.

I personally do not think so, why people still believe the assertion that bounty is dead. As far I am concern, bounty is not dead. New projects are being introduced day in day out. So fellow members let’s relax look for good projects.

I think that the number of participants has grown very much, and people who have several accounts. Perhaps if there are restrictions on the participants, then the income will be greater.

I don't see bounty as having died even as a lowly member, it is however important to pick and choose the right campaigns to take part in to maximise your time v reward. Signature campaigns can get over subscribed so why not look at doing other things also. Creative elements can often payback very well as another choice.

Everything would be fine if the bounty managers set limits on the company. I always watch how many people participate in the company and what a reward. I draw conclusions to sign or not.

So the bounty pool doesnt bother you at all? Just sign-in in any bounty with few participants and thats it ?
I'm asking because I'm tired of participating either in scam, either in overcrowded boundy and receive few bucks for a 2-4 month work.

It's hard to get a token in the market right now. Even if you get a token, most of it is below the offer price, so the reward is dying when the market is bad.

Once the ICO is born, the bounty cannot die. Currently, the bounty is the most effective marketing channel for ICO projects because bitcointalk is the largest cryptos investor in the world at the moment. Therefore bounty cannot die if the ICO is born daily and continuously as at the present time.

I think that the bounty are not dead, but there are many ICOs that fail and with them their bounty.
What would be good for the bounty is to limit the number of participants so that the payment is a little more fair.

I think that Bounty campaigns are affected with bear market as well as there is less interest for investments in Crypto
nowadays and it reflects on the ICO results. Less results and lesser the rewards are , as more hunters are fighting for
the smaller pie. With growing market things will change to more beneficial hunting.

I think 5 months ago, the number of bounty participants were not much as it is now. Today more people are doing bounties, therefore the rewards will be low most especially for social media bounties.

Bounty will not die as long as crypto is still there. Only income from the bounty is getting reduced because many are participating in bounty campaign at this time. And more and more are creating fake accounts to follow a bounty campaign. So our rivals increase in working on the bounty campaign.

Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Now it is very poorly collected soft cap ICO good company. Many bounty tolerate, extend or even close. And the reason is that there are no new investors who would buy tokens of these companies.

Just now a lot of scam and bounty projects need to be carefully chosen, then there is a chance to get into a good project.

First of all the rank on bitcointalk forum is not an evidence that the guy would be very experienced. Secondly, I can say the Bounty campaigns would never limit the cap of participants, for their good. Because for them it is better to have more of us, and they dont worry about the income of ours Smiley
