This fight does not need trash talk to hype it, it was the fans who requested to see it and here it is, so I can say that it's going to be a sold-out fight and the fans will be entertained watching this. Canelo is the winner in the previous match but anything can happen here, GGG could win here and maybe retire to give Canelo a lesson that trash talking is bad.

Canelo just hates GGG for backstabbing him in the past now this is his time to take revenge, there's really no need to thrash talking show off on this fight, they are not meeting for the first time this is their third match its time for both fighters to show respect, GGG is doing that he is more concentrated on the fight while Canelo is not, he is thrash talking GGG he seldom does that to his opponents, I think GGG is getting in his head and he is aware that he badly needs to win this fight, to climb to the all-time greats again.

Whatever his reason, it doesn't look good on him because we idolized Canelo and we know he is not a trashtalker. Thing is, if he gets trashtalked, he is easily affected, so that's not good because it will lose his concentration in the fight, and I'm afraid this time the judges won't be able to save him.

Come on, let us not be sensitive here, this is boxing, it's entertainment and therefore trash talking is just normal. It's something that will add spices on the fight and so that people will keep talking, and as a result, they'll be able to sell more tickets for more profits, simple as that.

Doesn't need thrash talking for this fight, people will watch this fight based on their merits as a fighter and because they have seen how good both fighters are when they are facing each other, they say style makes a fight, and their style compliments each other so two weeks before this exciting fight, we have so many great fights this year but this one has the potential to be the best I want to see a knockout hopefully we'll see one because I'm sure they are going to give everything here.

Let's wait and see the outcome of this fight as we all know that this two fighter already proves what they got. And in their third match a lot of prediction comes up in our mind because as we can see that both fighters aiming for TKO or KO once again to prove that who is the best and if this fight ends up with a unanimous decision for sure there's a possible GGG vs canelo 4 .
The fourth fight wouldn't count as a professional record anymore, but an exhibition fight since GGG already retired when it's happen. It's sad to see there's no other good boxers that can compete GGG or Canelo on super middleweight or middleweight, so many fans only expect the fourth, fifth, sixth and so on. When GGG already retired, I think the super middleweight or middleweight would be boring.
Well if the game still ends up in unanimous decision, I’d still think that the fourth match will be as exciting as today as GGG is not ready yet to retire soon after this trilogy fight with Canelo, and he’s even ready for the fourth match if granted. GGG is definitely an asset in the boxing industry, and if his retirement age comes, then we would never witness again his exceptional boxing skills inside the ring.

GGG does not have to mind the trash-talk, he needs to focus on this fight and prove to the world that he can beat Canelo. Imagine if GGG will win here, that would give Canelo 2 losses in a row and will result in reducing his popularity. People will also remember that GGG is the better fighter between the two, so I understand why GGG is silent, it only says he will do the talking in the ring.

GGG is always silent and never we saw him badmouthing his opponent. Him being humble just want to prove his strength in the actual fight and not by words. GGG is also not the type of boxer that will return dirty talk. He will rather be silent about it and just wait for the result on the day of the fight.

Canelo on the other hand already put some heated arguments against GGG but still, the latter just remained silent and calm.

I'm not aware of that backstabbing incident in the past where GGG is the one who did that to Canelo, for real? I can't believe that.

Would you mind telling me if you don't mind what situation is that where GGG did some dirty talk or something against Canelo?

As far as I know about GGG's personality, he seems not a fan of throwing trash talks to anybody regardless of his opponent.

Yep, a good result is sweeter than a good words, if GGG can beat Canelo in this fight, I think many fans already stop to follow him since he can't prove if he's better than GGG. Not to mention how many bettors already lose when he fight Bivol before, they will be disappointed.

Maybe it's either Inoue, Crawford or Spence will become the best pound for pound boxer.

Light heavyweight also isn't a place where Canelo can easily beat the champion, it's a big challenge for him.

True, and I think because of the language barrier, GGG doesn't mind those trash talk, his seen better days when boxers trying to intimidate him by trash talking but in the end, he closes those big ass mount by either a TKO or KO victory.

There could still be bettors who are going to back up Canelo no matter what, just like the die hard fans of other boxers during their prime like Manny or Floyd.

Good point on the side of GGG it will be an extra encouragement to perform and give everything left to his career in beating Alvarez, something that will prove that he's still and really the best in this division.

Yes, that was an encouragement rather than a disrespectful comment. GGG is also humble and he didn't threaten trash talk as a distraction. As long as, of course, there's no below-the-belt, they can throw words at each other although knowing Canelo, he is not like that unless his opponent started first.

Anyways, if I remember, Canelo already trash talk GGG at their press conference last July or August? Correct me on what month as I can't remember. GGG is just silent but got surprised Canelo did that to him. Maybe in that press conference, Canelo is still under the spell of being disappointed as he just loses to Bivol lol.

I also assuming that he's taking his time to prepare for this fight, GGG will try everything and those kinds of trash talks are another good motivation to add up for his trainings, if he will vision out the possibilities once he beats Canelo this time, the praise of many old and new fans will flow, the hypes of his name and careers will be alive.

It will be on him and his camp if they will accept another rematch or let Canelos camp to chase on him just the way he did way back.

Or he can retire with a good career ending story!

GGG winning here does not mean he is really better, remember that Canelo won the previous fight, so they are 1-1 and they need another fight to break the tie. I like to believe that GGG will win here although he is a heavy underdog because he had the momentum and Canelo was just overrated, bookies will certainly regret this time making Canelo the heavy favorite.

I do some research about GGG's-related trash-talk incident and I found almost nothing.

We can conclude that GGG is really humble and just doing the talking in the actual fight.

Aside from that, even his 1st and 2nd matches against Canelo do not favor him and are associated with controversies, we have never seen him doing a heavy complaint about the result. It's good that the trilogy was being negotiated and officially made to give him chance to show people what really happened in those 2 matches against Canelo.

If Canelo skips a rematch, fans will be disappointed as minimum, and as maximum could say that Canelo is afraid of Bivol.

If my memory served me right, Canelo wants the rematch right away against Bivol but his camp was advised by some professional analyst, groups, or something along those lines that it will be risky for Canelo to head straight to a rematch without doing some other fights first. Maybe as part of conditioning as Bivol is really a big deal and able to turn the heavy favorite Canelo into a punching bag.

But before that discussion, let's see first if Canelo can give GGG a hard time on this trilogy.

1st and 2nd fights are really close and this 3rd one should now show us who's the real winner between these two.
I read something similar, we need to remember that boxing is not just about throwing the strongest punch that you can, it is also a game of strategy, anyone that saw the fight of Bivol against Canelo could see that Bivol was way above Canelo and it was a bad idea for Canelo to hold a rematch immediately.

Definitely, it''s more than brute force or power, know boxing has becoming a holistic approach. Not just training and who punch the hardest, now it's diet, nutrition, they hired sports doctor and dietitian, even sports psychologist.

It makes more sense for Canelo to fight other opponents and try to make up for the weaknesses that Bivol exploited on their match, and only once he believes he's ready then a rematch could be pursued, after all I do not think Bivol is going to avoid him as the amount of money that he will receive for the rematch should be very high.

When he bolted out of Golden Boy and sign a contract with Eddie Hearn, sooner or later he knows that he will have to fight GGG and he can't avoid it regardless if he wins against Bivol or not. And now the tide has turn, he is not chasing Bivol to get his revenge.

You are right, perhaps it's Canelo's way of motivating himself. Or maybe he thinks that GGG is already old and need to retire after this fight. We have heard that as well to Thurman when he fought Manny, but the opposite happen.
Canelo condition was not fine after losing to Bivol so his statement expressed motivation for him that Canelo had to defend his ego from his statement until he could win the fight. But hey, that fight will defend some middleweight titles so they have to fight for the emotional high, the third fight will risk everything even career threatening for the decision to retire.

Quote
It's below the belt, Canelo knows that he can't do that because he himself doesn't want that kind of trashtalk. Everything should settled in the ring between the two. No need to disrespect and I think both are not that kind of boxers. No personal attacks about families, everyone that is close to their hearts.
Both professional boxers are personal to put out good statements but the match is for risking everything so there must be disagreements against each other, I repeat that because it's hype for boxing's biggest fight, in the end they are very sporting and willing to accept fair decisions.

I felt that Canelo's words that he wants to end the great career of Golovkin are too disrespectful. Especially considering the fact that Canelo himself was beaten by Bivol and his career is also in question. Maybe this is just a statement to keep up the hype, but in my opinion the words were chosen incorrectly. Now if Golovkin wins, it's more likely that Canelo will be forced to retire, hehe.

Part of the fight. I don't see any disrespect in that comment saying Canelo will end the career of Golovkin. Instead, that is more encouraging for GGG as he will try to prevent that and spoil Canelo's plan. If Canelo will not make it true, who will receive the backlash?

If the comment is about relating to family or outside the boxing already, that will be the disrespectful part like what happened when Caleb Plant throw that kind of statement to Canelo during their press conference on their fight.

Let's respect Bivol, Canelo losses against him, and yet we still believe that Canelo is a great player. Anyway, seeing Bivol losses is far from happening, he is extremely good at his division, so I think he will reign and no one could stop him.

We never know till we've heard the announcer announce the winner, but I believe that the idea of another rematch between Bivol and Canelo is still open. If the price is right for sure, both camps will negotiate and sign the contract.

Maybe after Canelo's fight, if he can beat GGG because if that will happen, the fans will hype his name again and it's good timing to fight Bivol. Well, in short, both fighters (Bivol and Canelo) have to beat their respective opponents so that rematch is going to be interesting.

There are many possibilities but first they needed to win both fights and then arrange whatever the possibilities, if the rematch will take place it's still be an easy market for both Bivol and Alvarez, while if they both losses their respective fights, they can still ask for rematch and another potential for more money to flow. Boxing is a business. I'm not going to be surprised if there're a sideway that may happen. We never know when a solid punch will land on anyone's face and force a KO outcome.
