That's for sure, we will see an exchange of punches as these two have already measured their power. So the winner here is the fighter who have more punches thrown and the one that is hitting more, GGG has to be active, going for a KO is good but he should not be frustrated, try also to score so in case no KO will happen, at least he has a chance of winning.
Don't forget Canelo have good head movement, it's not easy to throw clean punch to Canelo, so GGG should put more effort to punch more. The previous fight GGG ever landed a big punch to Canelo and it make Canelo to shake his head, but GGG isn't punch more and waiting until Canelo relax, GGG is too good as a boxer lol. If he taking that advantages to punch more, he might win the fight.

Right, so it's the timing itself, and as you have said, even if GGG landed a big punch, Canelo will just shake his head. And as many boxing experts says, it's a sign that he is hurt, he just try to downplay that he is not affected. But Canelo has a tougher chin though, and maybe that's why he didn't get knock down or what. But there are boxers that has a good chin that suddenly breaks though. And if ever there is a fighter that can do that, it is GGG.

Both have equal skill, granite chin, never been knock down, hasn't been in trouble in any fight (remove the Bivol lost in the equation from Canelo). It will still be in the hands of the judges again in this trilogy.

Still a long discussion if we will talk about who win on that previous 2 fights. I mean the outcome favor Canelo on their second match, but in the eyes of GGG's fans; they have their own assessment and that's the reason why they will support GGG on this upcoming trilogy. If GGG will win, then a possible to have another fight for GGG either with Canelo again or he will be challenged by another top rank fighter in this division, the fate will be concluded right after the fight.

It was a controversial fight that's why this trilogy is necessary, if GGG will win, then the world will be celebrating. LOL

Anyway, make sure you put your bet on this fight, if you are rooting for GGG, you should take the high odds as it's very attractive.
Lastly, as a fan we are biased, so we will always say that our favorite fighter wins the previous fights.

But if Canelo wins, then what will happen? The world will have a mourning? The world is celebrating because those two fight again. Since their second fight a lot has changed. I would say that both gained new experience and both a so much experienced, that that extra age that GGG had is not a real fight changer. Both are so great and identically skilled, that judges once again will those who will decide who won.

Canelo will have to man himself up and accept that he is defeated.

For us, maybe we will celebrated as we wanted for GGG to win in the third fight as it was clear day robbery on the first fight.

No way GGG will win if this will go to the judges' scorecards, I guess it's important that GGG will find an opportunity to KO Canelo although it's almost impossible, but with a good game plan, for sure he can do that, we cannot trust the judge as for sure they will again favor Canelo.

Look at the poll results on this thread. GGG having almost 3:1 advantage over Canelo. And this is despite the fact that everyone knows Golovkin of 2022 is not the Golovkin of 2017. He is 40 years old, and at this age body deteriorates considerably even for well trained athletes. Most of the users want GGG to win, because they believe that he was robbed during the previous fights. But then I am surprised with the odds given out by the sportsbooks. At 4.10, they don't reflect the realities on ground. These sort of odds are severely underestimating Golovkin.

Thankfully they're making this fight happen and it will be one of the fights of the year because after so many years of delaying their trilogy, finally, it would happen soon and all fans around the world are truly excited to watch it live whether on the venue or pay-per-view place where they will cheer for their favorite boxer to win. It's been a big question for years who really won their last fight finally they will have another chance to prove once again and maybe this one will close the door of doubt so that both can finally move on from their long rival.

Yep, many people are more interested to see the fight will happen rather than guessing which one will win the fight, I think whoever will win, both boxers will gain a respect due to not afraid to fight with his old rival.

It's interesting to see GGG have higher points than Canelo, though on different division.
In Middleweight GGG's points is 687.5, while
In Supermiddleweight Canelo's points is 647.6

If GGG will win, then a possible to have another fight for GGG either with Canelo again or he will be challenged by another top rank fighter in this division, the fate will be concluded right after the fight.
I think it's too much, that's also proving on middleweight and super middleweight division had no good boxer except Canelo and GGG.

Base on his recent interview he doesnt have plan to retire yet after his trilogy fight with Canelo and its not surprising because of the good results of his previous fight. Its like he already redeem himself from his loss with Canelo before. Thus if he happens to win on their upcoming trilogy, it is one of a good reason to continue his boxing career since he's still have what it takes to be a great boxer despite of his age.

Interesting that you are saying that he has redeemed himself from the previous loss. Officially, it was a loss. However, most of the neutral observers thought that it was a win for GGG in the first fight and a draw in the second fight. And now coming to retirement, thanks for informing about Golovkin's statement regarding the future of his career after match with Canelo. It makes no sense for him to retire at this point, since he is really in good shape and having a great level of fitness. That may happen by 2024 or 2025 though.

He can decide on his own, if he think he still have a lot to offer, of course he can still continue especially if he wins this fight against Canelo. It should be the biggest fight of his career as it's a trilogy and he can always say no if he win this fight and people will think he was really the better fighter.

Age is just a number maybe for him, but of course, no reason to retire because he is still winning fights.

But, this will be still an exciting match to see aside from the fact that this might be Golovkin's last professional fight.

Do you have any proof for this? Even if he loses, I don't think that Golovkin will retire after this match. He looks to be in really good shape and there is no reason for him to retire at this point. Golovkin has taken good care of his fitness levels, when compared to other athletes of this age. I know that he waited for a long time to get this fight scheduled, because according to him the previous two fights were stolen by Canelo. IMO, he can go on for another two years minimum, and can have around 4 high-profile fights.
If I'm not mistaken, he also said that he will not simply retire even if he loses. The only reason that he will be retiring is maybe he feel that he is old already on he doesn't have it anymore, meaning he can't fight and that fire inside of him is no longer there. As for Canelo, he is still in his prime and maybe he can go for another 2-5 years more.

The fight against GGG is in fact an effort to recover some of the reputation he lost against Bivol, if he happened to lose again then not only this will be a short term hit against his reputation but also a long term one, as this would mean an old GGG could beat him when his better days are behind him.

The trilogy has nothing to do with Canelo's recovering his reputation or what because he loses to Bivol.

That trilogy match was already arranged even prior to the fight of GGG vs Murata and Canelo vs Bivol. In other words, it's already set in stone regardless of the result of their respective match on which GGG won against Murata but Canelo loses to Bivol.

Yes, Canelo Alvarez is a bit out of choice for this trilogy because he cannot have a chance to fight Dmitrii Bivol for a title fight in light-heavy if he won't agree to fight Golovkin afterwards. I'd say that this upcoming fight is the perfect gift for Golovkin because he received this news on the month of his birthday and I imagined that he was certainly happy about this as he asked for a trilogy for years already.

Though this fight might be late already because their trilogy was first proposed last 2019 when GGG is much younger but Canelo declined and made a statement that a trilogy won't be needed because it was evident that he won the first and second fight even if the 1st resulted to a draw. But, this will be still an exciting match to see aside from the fact that this might be Golovkin's last professional fight.

Without a doubt consecutive losses will damage his image beyond belief, Bivol won very clearly against him showing he was not ready to go up a division and that maybe he will never be.

We really don't know what will happen on their upcoming fight, knowing both fighters they are eager to beat one another, there's no way for both of them to give a slight opportunity to their opponent both will prepare harder and make sure that they are fit enough to step inside the ring, GGG is old but pride might give him enough determination in beating Canelo.

While in Canelo's end, back-to-back losses will really damage his reputation and the need for winning is a must for him.

Let's all wait and witness what both fighters will bring to use when the bell ring and call for the start of the fight.

What I mean is that Canelo had to defeat GGG in the first  half of the fight otherwise its him that is going to be in trouble because GGG seem to be getting better when the fight last longer. But we'll if his age is not making Golov rusty.

Not sure about that strong stamina in the later rounds for GGG and he's turning better at late rounds? Is that what you trying to say? Remember that he's up against a prime Canelo and containing him at every rounds needs a lots more and better stamina. GGG's stamina is surely not the same now compare to his prime. He's already at the retirement period of his career so expect some signs that he showed before won't be seen now on this match.

However, since GGG makes and force Canelo shows his limits, we can assume that he can last longer on this fight. I just don't want the fight will end up in Decision as the cash cow king will surely the victorious and that's Canelo unless the fight is clearly being dominated by GGG.

I believe that GGG will last longer, he has never been KO in his life as a boxer, so I would never have a doubt about his performance in this coming fight. We have to remember that GGG is trying to win, and it's his only chance to prove that he is the better boxer, so expect that he will be more eager to win in this fight.

The only concern is his age, but we cannot underestimate him because we know how discipline he is as a boxer. His last win was pretty much impressive, so he has that momentum going to this fight, and the good thing is that he is a heavy underdog, which makes the betting odds more interesting backing him.

Right, he still very impressive against Murata, and it seems that age doesn't affect his performance. Maybe it was due to him not being damage on his boxing career, as compare to let's say legends like Pacquiao and Donaire, who have been knock out. So for me, when they reach 40+ age, they are somewhat feeling the wear and tear and the effects of being in the boxing and having been knock out in their career. But GGG is not, he is the one dishing out the hurt, not receiving it and that could be a big factor why he can still fight at his age at high level.
