Definitely, GGG is underestimated here against his arch-nemesis. There fight has been so close that others argued that it could be GGG 2-0 or GGG 1-0. But we all know that Canelo has been given special treatment and even after coming from a humiliating lost, they still call him the favorite in this fight when that huge odds in the beginning. I will just be basing on their last fight, those lasted full 12 rounds, both have a tough chin, so yeah, it will reach 12 rounds in my book again.

The age factor has something to do with why he is the favorite and improvements from their fights before they meet but GGG already has something to look forward to, he has seen how Bivol dominate Canelo and he will use that same strategy to beat Canelo and that is to do a lot of counter punch and frustrate him while moving forward, because of Canelo's loss it will be a different ball game if GGG decides to use different tactics that he did not implement on their last two fights.

Agreed I think canelo will concede on this fight.  GGG shoukd have won both fights so far, dude probably will come put firing here.  Barring something crazy happening I got GGG in a decision at the end.  Should be a good one either way.

I don't know, I think that before all this what is being generated is a certain pique, GGG wants to be invincible, and on the other hand Canelo too, but we can all realize that both boxers are about to level up, I think they need to have other fights of more level to see them again, I think that at this moment GGG vs. Canelo will bring many followers, fans and above all a lot of money, but I think things and the trend are going the other way, we have Bivol, there is Inoue, there is many fights with warrior men who are looking for fame everywhere and although the Canelo vs. GGG fight is always something very horny, the fans want more!

Winding down.
This is really hard for GGG if it ends up the decision. Canelo will be aggressive here since he thinks GGG is not that capable anymore to defend his punches. He will try to score more points and will attempt to knock down GGG to make it clear that he is the winner at all of their fights.

Canelo is also known to be judge friendly if you know what I mean. The venue is also the same venue where Canelo won against GGG.

I believed GGG will upset Canelo here. I like Canelo to lose here as he's now becoming arrogant because of his achievement. I'm even happy he loses against Bivol.
I believe that GGG is good Boxing team and they have some critical knowledge which is help them to go ahead to winning. on the other hand Canelo is also a Strong team They also have a keen interest in winning. In my opinion i think GGG can win or this tournament will Drow. Because both team is strong and Here both will try hard to win
Both are great fighters, it's just that only one will win in every fight, but the most interesting fight of these two is that it's a close fight and we call it a controversial fight since not everyone are convince that Canelo really won the last fight. So we have the trilogy, it will end up the speculation, whoever wins this fight deserved some respect.
Again though, we might have to give respect to Canelo if he fought GGG or give him the trilogy and not waited for it to happen in 2022 where GGG is already 40 years old. And the first two fights are really controversial, and then there are already speculation that if this fight goes into the judges score card again just like it's two past fight, maybe GGG will get the unfavorable treatment once more.
Canelo knows he could not easily beat GGG that's why the trilogy got delayed, and it's a blessing for us that he lose against Bivol as that opened a way to make this trilogy happen. So for the last time, hopefully GGG could bring Canelo down so no more bias judging after the fight.

Yes, I can't apply that factor to GGG. That aging boxer and future HOF still has lots of gas left on his tank. Even Canelo is enjoying his prime days currently, I don't see him as a major big wall for GGG. Currently, I'm sure that both camps are preparing well for their trilogy. Time flies so fast and around 2 months is real quick. They are not wasting time fully enhancing their strategy and everything that they think is an advantage for their fight.

And since they have already met twice before, they might refer to those previous fights as thinking of a new strategy to win. Canelo's previously losing his match against Bivol might be the best reference that GGG can watch. There are lots of flaws there that Canelo although the question is, can GGG do the same?

Canelo will make sure not to repeat the same mistakes that he did against Bivol. But his confidence level as well as morale would be shaken, because Bivol dominated the entire match. The scorecard will not give such an impression, but out of the 12 rounds Canelo hardly managed to win 2-3. And all this happened despite Bivol being a distant underdog as per the betting odds. But then, GGG is no longer young and his tactics will be different. We have two more months to the fight and I am really losing my patience.

Moreover, Canelo is seating at the peak of his prime while GGG is at the peak of the retirement stage. Still, the said factors won't guarantee one's success and only time will tell which one of them will win at the end of the day.

In any case, Golovkin should try very hard in the fight with Canelo and whether he has enough speed in the upcoming fight, I hope the Bivol has cooled Canelo down a little and he will have to take risks so as not to lose the second fight in a row.
But even Golovkin, judging by his fight with Murata, does not look as convincing as before, the years are taking their toll.

Well.. ageing can't be reversed. But then, Floyd Mayweather had some big wins at this age. He was 40 years old when he knocked out Conor McGregor. One advantage for Golovkin is that he keeps a strict training and diet regimen, which keeps him extremely fit. And that would have put him in a dominant position if the opponent was someone other than Canelo. But unfortunately, Canelo is one of the best right now (despite his loss to Dmitry Bivol) and it is going to be an uphill task for Golovkin.

Good comparison and for sure GGG's training camp knows and understand that well, scouting and exceeding from the current training practices might be another drill for GGG, knowing that Canelo is always prepared and ready to take him down, the adjustment is always there for both fighters.

We can only dictate the really dominating one when we see them exchanging punches. A small mistake of calculation can bring one down.

It's very exciting to know who's going to win and how it will end up the fight.

I understand, both of them have their own set of good camps who operates and has a mission to give their respective boxers a good training to somehow increase the probability of winning but that isn't the only factor on why the boxer can win as this case is a bit different. GGG is undoubtfully a good boxer and has a rich IQ in the ring but his opponent, Canelo, is also a decent boxer with lots of experience in the said field.

Moreover, Canelo is seating at the peak of his prime while GGG is at the peak of the retirement stage. Still, the said factors won't guarantee one's success and only time will tell which one of them will win at the end of the day.

They don't have to admit nor need to confirm these because we can already say that the judges is quite favoring Canelo, and just like the Bivol-Canelo fight where the favorite, Canelo, was tried to help by the judges but Bivol really proved that he is dominating Canelo in each and every round. Can't blame Bivol because I think he also had some knowledge about this that's why he tried to make it so that the judges will have a hard time stretching the scores if it goes into a full 12 rounds, and that happened.

It is getting really depressing to see such bias from the judges. This is happening too frequently and those who pay $99 for the PPV purchase or a considerably higher amount to watch the fight in person will feel cheated. I can see a clear pattern here, of the jury favoring Canelo in every match. Actually this erodes the credibility of Canelo as well. In future, there will be questions over his record. Critics may accuse him of winning matches with help from the jury. That will be tragic, because Canelo is probably the best boxer in his weight division out there now.

Yeah, just sad that up to this day, biases in professional sports do happen even in high stake fights just like the first and the second and maybe we will see another one? hope not.

But if we did, then we should know what the outcome of the fight will be in the trilogy. GGG will really have to fight very smart just to score a win on the judges scorecard. Otherwise it will be tragic and then uproar coming from the boxing fans all over the world if they feel that GGG has been cheated for the third time.

Well, I'm a both fan of GGG and Canelo but this time I would want to see GGG winning because this might be his last fight, Canelo can still rise after this fight if incase this will turn right as he is still on his prime while GGG is already wear considering his age now.

GGG winning this fight will give him a good token to have another money fight, either with another rematch or a good challenge from anyone from this division who will challenge him and give him the money. It's a good extension in his career if he takes this one against Canelo, though we all know that Canelo is still the heavy favorite.

And for GGG to win, he needs to put Canelo down or make many clear shots that judges can't alter.

Though the use of social media can easily counter any wrong decisions, but hopefully both fighters still be the best version of themselves
once they are both inside the ring.

I'm just saying that the most chances is that GGG can only afford to win by a decision either SD or UD or even MD, but a knockout chance is also possible even if he's already 40 years old. I still believe that GGG can still bring more load even at his age.

As long as he clearly won every round, GGG might pull an upset over the decision.

Although not officially confirmed that there's a flaw in judging in favor of Canelo, it's hard to fight against scorecards when fighting Canelo. In Canelo's previous fight against Bivol, the latter make sure that he will dominate the former every round for the public to see that he is owning Canelo if ever the scorecards turned against him.

If this fight will be close and end up in a decision, I doubt GGG has a chance to win.

As we know, business.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
Obviously Andy Ruiz is letting his friendship with Canelo to cloud his judgment, in boxing there is no one that is truly invincible, a boxer can always have a bad day or they receive a bad punch and then the whole fight or even their whole career changes because of that.

And he should know about that as Andy Ruiz is a person which accomplished exactly that on his fight against Joshua, when he was able to drop him surprisingly during the third round of their first fight when no one was expecting something like that.

Ruiz is actually insulting Golovkin. He is indirectly stating that GGG is incapable of defeating Canelo. I am not sure how Golovkin would respond to it. From what I have seen so far, Golovkin has stayed out of theatrics. Barring a few statements after the biased scoring during the first two fights, he has hardly ever lost his temper. On the other hand, all these statements will pile up more and more pressure on Canelo. Already he has to deal with accusations that the scoring for the previous fights was biased.

I guess everyone has it's own opinion, but Ryan Garcia, former friend of Canelo, says that GGG will beat Canelo in this fight.

So I guess we can say that they are all biased because they have their own hidden agenda from behind. Just like here, majority wanted GGG to win, but for sure there are fans of Canelo here and wanted to end this trilogy already with a big win in their September fight.

Ryan's case was a bit different because he had a different view on why Canelo's attitude to him is different now unlike in the past where these two shared some memories, I mean, Canelo definitely did those to make Garcia strong and reacting like that proves that he still deserves to be called as a kid.

Maybe a part to hype the fight that's why Ruiz is joining the party.

Remember recently, when Canelo trash-talk and insult GGG in their press conference which the latter didn't respond. GGG was surprised by Canelo's action saying it was unusual of him and not really necessary to do so in front of the media.

I like the attitude of GGG there not reacting to Canelo's behavior. Maybe GGG thinks that Canelo is still under the effect of his bitter loss against Bivol and may be shy to face him as he won his recent match against Murata.

I also liked GGG's attitude because he's choosing not to fight the fire with fire and only want to do the talking, he knows very that trash talking is normal in this industry because it is needed in some instances to make the people more intrigue and sell the fight more but GGG happens to do the opposite on every words he's receiving.

GGG knows too that Canelo is still upset about his recent fight where the latter received his 2nd loss after Mayweather and it's really clear that Canelo is somehow anxious until now because of what happened recently, he may pour his all efforts into GGG but that doesn't increase Canelo's hype and only a rematch will do that.

You are right. Just noticed the poll here and Golovkin is far ahead. A reason for this maybe due to the fact that scoring was done in a biased manner for the first two fights. A lot of people believe that the first fight was stolen from Golovkin and therefore want him to have his revenge in September. On top of that, the trash talk from Canelo and the calm and measured response from Golovkin to that will polarize the fans even more. Reminds me of the David Haye vs Wladimir Klitschko fight almost a decade ago. And we know who won that fight.
