Many people support Trilogy and they think Trilogy will win coz they are strong players and they have winning record for many times. They have a lot fans and A lot of bets are being made for them in many places. And if I bet for boxing then I will definitely bet for Trilogy. I am also fan of them and i support them too much.
Can someone translate this post to English for me?

Lol...  Cheesy

By saying Trilogy, He actually meant "Gennadiy Gennadyevich Golovkin", Triple G Wink.

Yes, I also like his fight, but I will place my bet some days later. I have to see some past matches closely after that I will decide whom I selected.

Of course, there are still fans of GGG here and want to see him get his revenge before we think that the first fight should be a W for him.

Hist light fight against Murata, he still have that output, I think in order for him to win, he needs to be a volume puncher, just like what Bivol did to Canelo in their fight. He didn't settle, he keeps Canelo at bay with his volume. So that is interesting numbers to see if ever Canelo win or lose, his output and the power punches he is gong to throw.

Bivol is a decade younger when compared to Golovkin and he had the advantage of being virtually unknown before his fight with Canelo. One thing that I have noticed about Canelo is that he performs better in the initial rounds, when compared to the latter ones. I am not saying that he gets tired towards the end, but he somehow underperforms from round 7 onwards. Noticed this against both Bivol and Golovkin (previous fights). The reason maybe a loss of focus as the match progresses. I checked the scorecards from his previous fights and I could see the same pattern in most of them.

Wow have you seen their staredown there's no love lost between the two of them, I guess they missed each other, this staredown so they say is worth watching its four years in the making.

Canelo - Golovkin Staredown

The Staredown looks really intense. I think we have been waiting for this for about 4 years right now.
So, it was really worth it after all this time. The fight is also going to be a really good one. I am really expecting a knockout result in this match.
The intense look on their face tells me that a knockout is coming Cool,

He already reached his limitation, he cannot challenge Bivol again, or other champions in a higher division, he just has to stay in a division where he reigns before he will retire, and winning this fight against GGG would be a good comeback from a bad defeat against Bivol.
One loss and already reached his limitation? He can come back again. He just needs to be fully prepared physically and mentally. I think he is too confident that's why he was being surprised by Bivol. Now that he knows how fighting Bivol is, he can ask for a rematch later in the future. But it's not simple as Bivol is chasing titles. Canelo should bring a title of his own first before he can face Bivol again. Bivol is fighting for titles and not to destroy popular names.
Winning against GGG is not a considered comeback too. GGG is old enough. Not any impact if Canelo wins here.

But a win is a win, right? Imagine what if he loses!
A lot of people are going to talk about it and his career is also going to be greatly affected by that. It has been a big problem since the early time.
We have an event since the Great Muhammad Ali era. We all know how he lost to an inferior opponent just because he underestimated his opponent. So, I think this is going to be a good fight.

Yeah, and Canelo try to charge but GGG is ready, but you can see thet Canelo blink on that staredown. But yeah, there is no love lost between the two, they both admitted that they are rivals so we will see.

I love for GGG to win this though, yeah I know he is old and this is Canelo's weight class. But giving Canelo his 2 straight lost? that will be devastating for Alvarez and his legacy and may request a fourth fight.  Smiley

F***ing Bob Arum made a deal already for lineal champion Artur Beterbiev to defend his 3 belts in England against Anthony Yarde. Right after the fight, Beterbiev clearly said he wanted to unify the 4 belts in order to become undisputed. Beterbiev is already 37, time is his enemy. He needs to fight the last remaining belt holder Dmity Bivol. Canelo Alvarez a guy who always wanted to challenge himself will surely try again if that fight is for the undisputed belts. In this 4 belt era, there was never been a 2 division undisputed champion. Canelo might become the first one.
We will have to wait and see, Canelo may like to test himself again but truth to be told he did not looked right on his fight with Bivol, he seemed to be very heavy and he could not deal with the additional weight, he lost punching power and Bivol had no problem dealing with him.

Slow, sluggish, and no punching power. That's what we have seen in Canelo at 175 lbs. So obviously, he can't take that extra weight and at his height, maybe that is too much. while Bivol is a natural LHW and then tall and moves a lot.

However before we think about those things Canelo needs to beat GGG in a convincing way, otherwise the rumors about the previous fights being rigged will never disappear.

I don't know how convincing this fight will be in either of them. But still going to be close and it could still go on the judges scoring this fight.

He might be bored enough because he has done some clean-up in his own division, so it's only natural for him to climb back and forth in-between divisions. But now that he has learned a lesson not to mess in the LHW so that might be his sign that LHW is not for him, well, he managed to defeat one boxer in that division so his record in that division is tied to 1-1 but he can't deny that his name was really scathed after he got defeated by Bivol.

After GGG, I think he should go against Jermall Charlo in the middleweight division.

You might be right but taking another shot against Dmitry Bivol is a good option. If he fails again then stop pursuing dominance at much upper weight class. After taking GGG, he can do some preparations again to snatch a title first as Bivol won't just be interested in a rematch if it's not a title match.

Why Canelo should just give up? That failed first of him after dominating his comfort zone should not be a sign right away that he's nothing in the upper weight class. Let him realize if he really can't match those guys at the top by doing several attempts.

But before we discussed his future fight, settle the business first against GGG. If he loses here, even the likes of Charlo won't be interested in him.

Honestly, he should just forget about getting in LHW as it's frankly clear that he's nowhere near getting a win against Bivol and his not that heavy hitter in that weight class considering it's not his comfortable weight.

What do you suggest Canelo to do next? Who should he fight? He has clear his weight division in all organizations. He is feeling tight and bored in his middleweight. He could either fight everyone for the second time (most likely not) or go down to other division? That also could be a problem, as Canelo is rather huge, which means he would have to cut a lot to fit in. Cutting weight = low on stamina = no KO power.

We talked about Benavidez and maybe Charlo in 168 lbs. That might be a good fight for him, 2 young guys very hungry to get recognize. If only Canelo will give them the chance after fighting Golovkin. He once fought at LHW, an old Kovalev, tall but way past his prime. Canelo has problems with him but he was able to get a knock out. But against a young champion, we've seen his weakness, he has no power, and very slow at 175. And he is just hitting the arms of Bivol, taller than him. And if ever he will face the other champion in Beterviev, it might be another disaster for him.

^^ He is young and very ambitious, tall and has the advantage on Canelo (reach and height). And he has a good power too, so it's a perfect match for Canelo. But so far he is not on the radar of his team, after GGG maybe they will have to think if they will go for rematch with Bivol. Beterviev is out of the equation for him. There could still be some boxers in 168 lbs that could be safe fight for Canelo. Maybe one try at light heavy weight with Bivol and that's it, regardless of the outcome.

For sure David Benavidez will be considered in the future as a Canelo opponent, maybe after the Bivol rematch because there is not much option out there for Canelo when he beat GGG in September lol.

As early as now, Canelo is already talking of a rematch with Bivol but if the unification fight between Bivol and Beterbiev pushes through then that rematch will take some time to materialize as that fight is what people wanted to see.

There's a chance that they will share the same ring but that's too early to speculate for now Canelo have an upcoming fight with GGG this September. Though the fight has almost no hype at all but I'm just gonna watch not because this is interesting to see but because maybe this will be GGG's last fight, we can't know for sure but I won't pass on that chance on seeing him the last time.

An undisputed fight in light-heavyweight will surely be a good fight to watch as the names like Betebiev and Bivol is participating that said fight. That said, if that fight will purse the Canelo should wait some time again. Honestly, he should just forget about getting in LHW as it's frankly clear that he's nowhere near getting a win against Bivol and his not that heavy hitter in that weight class considering it's not his comfortable weight.

Wow! 0%? That's like saying that GGG has no power to KO Canelo. yes, Canelo has not been knock out yet, but GGG has a power to KO anyone and Canelo is not exempted on that, we never know mate, if Canelo will be careless and GGG will hit him with a solid punch, who knows.

Dude, I am a big fan of Golovkin. That said, I am being realistic here. Golovkin got two chances against Canelo, and that too during his prime years. He couldn't KO Canelo back then. And now he is 40 years old, well past his prime. I don't think that he has any chance of knocking out Canelo under current circumstances. I am 100% sure that in case Golovkin wins, the match will go on for full 12 rounds. I watched the highlights of his match against Ryōta Murata. He was exceptional during that fight. But then, Canelo is of another class.

Canelo is on the upper class and he still on his prime but like what he mentioned if a lucky punch converts and a followup combination happened to miscarry by Canelo that solid punches can bring him down, there's no exemption on that, we are all speculating and the conclusion of this fight will happen inside the ring, after that we will conclude and we will know who's going to win between these two legendary fighters.

GGG on gaining points? That's not possible, because GGG is a KO artist and Canelo boxed better than GGG, so when if we talk about points, the advantage will be on GGG. Honestly, I love to see an all out war in this fight, both fighters should go for a KO as this could be their last fight against each other.
Though GGG is a KO artist but Canelo wouldn't get KO'ed by GGG because Bivol is a KO artist too and has higher power than GGG, but Canelo already proving he can survive for 12 rounds against Bivol. Canelo is the best boxer which have head movement to take less punches, while GGG have an iron chin. If it goes toe to toe, the judges will see GGG is bad than Canelo since he took more damages.

If GGG will got KO'ed by Canelo, then it's end of his career and he might retire after this.

Most probably, GGG will retire if he will suffer a convincing defeat in this 3rd fight. But, look at GGG's power as well, he is not called as a great figher if he doesn't have the skills, let's compare it to Pacman, remember when he has multiple fight with Marquez and we never thought he would lose, but on their last fight, Marque caught him good with the right counter and that resulted to a KO Victory.

If Canelo is really careless then it's end of his career Cheesy

This match is more like proving if Canelo loss against Bivol isn't a serious loss that his performance is drop rather than GGG proving he's more better than Canelo and can make an upset. Let's imagine Canelo is loss against Bivol and GGG, there's will be a lot speculation and I doubt he can still on top 10 top pound for pound. The only way GGG to win here is dominating the whole rounds like Bivol or knock out Canelo.

Winding down.
It will be entertaining for us if the fight goes to the full 12 rounds. Back and forth rounds and then momentum shift in the fight. But if it ends on a sudden knock out and around 6 rounds or lower, well still a good fight but we wanted like a continuation of their first 2 fights. Round 25th and going on and trying to get each other heads off. And maybe if we are still not that satisfied, maybe a 4th fight is going to be push by both sides.

In my opinion, there is 0% chance of Golovkin knocking Canelo out of his senses. And there is only around 5% chance of the reverse scenario happening. It is definitely close to impossible, to KO either of these two. And we can expect the fight to last for full 12 rounds this time (similar to the case with the previous ones). So in all probability, the outcome will be decided on the basis of points. And as we have seen in the first two matches, in case it comes down to points, then Canelo will have a significant advantage over Golovkin (even without Adalaide Byrd).
