Devin Haney is not capable of hurting Kambosos.
This is a huge statement, Haney can knock out his opponent, so Kambasos can also be knocked out because he is a human. LOL.
But anyway, I got to respect your opinion and good luck with your bet.

He may actually hurt Kambosos Jr. but I don't think he will knock him out, so there is a very high probability that this fight will end up in the judges' scorecards. Haney is not really a knockout artist. In his last 5 fights, he failed to knock out even one of them. So in terms of taking points, Kambosos Jr. can fairly match Haney. And I also think that it would become a significant factor that Kambosos Jr. is fighting in his backyard. Loud cheers from your countrymen can boost morale.

I just took another bet for Kambosos. Devin Haney is not capable of hurting Kambosos. I believe Kambosos is the hungrier fighter in spite being the lineal champion and is holding 3 belts. Kambosos will be the aggressor in this fight, the huge crowd will boost his morale and Haney will be put in an uncomfortable situation. If ever Kambosos cannot dominate the fight yet he can make it at least competitive then he will still take the judges nod.

Wow, I love your confidence bro.

I'm surprised with the poll result so far.

we have 27 posters who voted for this fight and Kambasos got 51.9% of the total votes, or 14/27.
Bookies may make Haney a heavy favorite, but we posters here are bettors who see which figher offers a good value.

The quotes are very different from the voting results (currently 50/50), but I would not say that Haney is a super favorite in this fight, the odds are very competitive: 1.58 - 2.55. Looking back at Canelo's recent fight with Bivol where Canelo was the clear favorite but was declassed by the challenger, the outcome of that fight is far from obvious.

Kambosos Jr. vs Haney the highly anticipated fight is coming close. Kambosos Jr. is glad that this fight is happening in his hometown: Australia. Devin Haney wouldn't take the opportunity given to him by the Ukrainian hero Vasyl Lomachenko who turn down this uncommon boxing fight to stay in Ukraine and defend country against Russian aggression for granted. On Saturday 4th June 2022 at 60,000+ Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia I am predicting that the world would view one of the greatest boxing match of all time. Regardless of the polls I am saying that both boxers has 50/50 chance of winning.

The height of anticipation is quite encouraging in addition to the difficulty in throwing my weight behind anyone of them in my prediction of the outcome of this fight as to who's gonna win is something that really interest me. And I guess it's same for others out there

Oh well, it sports bookies and the boxing fans in this community is not agreeing, it simply means that the fight is going to be very close and really hard to predict.

As been mentioned before, the styles of this two fighters are very contrasting and we don't know which style will be dominant. Or if the other side will adjust in the fight to counter the other. So for me this is a very difficult to predict and who to choose on betting.

Well, the truth is, Kambosos could start with a good strategy that would be to give a KO, but I think it is a very risky strategy, because he will spend a lot of energy and I know that he can do it, but Haney has a very good preparation, and also one of the main characteristics of it is resistance.

If we focus on the physical characteristics and the styles of the boxers we see that there is a combination of styles that, if they had each one, would be even more complete.
That is exactly why I want these kind of match-up because these boxers are the kind who wouldn't take an easy defeat as they are both eager and willing to give their best shot in-order to have a sure win no matter what would cost them. I just surely hope this will be a clean fight though.

Either way, both boxers shouldn't be complacent to each other because they are both capable of giving a knockout punch. But on this fight, I won't deny that I'm with Haney.
I would like to have an idea of some kind of advantage that either of the two boxers could have in this fight, for me Kambosos has explosiveness and that at any moment he can give everything and have little resistance, that is where I think Haney will have all the advantage, because if he manages to contain everything from Kambosos it could be the best of all scenarios.

I have not seen the bets for this fight and I really do not want to see them yet, at least until May 28 that the fighters have shown something about themselves, their training or any other advance, to have an idea of what they are prepared for, so I can have a better judgement.

They both have their own advantages as well as the disadvantage side, that's why we are seeing Haney showing his training to the media in hopes that they could set a trap on Kambosos camp because it's also expected that the latter's camp will use that video to study his movements. But I think Haney's camp have another goal that's why they revealed their training on the media, to think it's very unlikely to see some scenario like that. It's up to them on who will be the smarter one and that would have more chance in winning the fight.

During their press con, Haney said that he will take out Kambosos best attributes, so I don't know how he will do that.

And I agree, maybe this is just a strategy for Haney to misled George, showing his speed and his footwork but it maybe different when they square in the ring. So if that happens, we will see if Kambosos can adjust to what Haney will offer to him.

There is indeed a very high chance that Haney will use and have another strategy on the day of their fight because I'm not seeing any other purpose why Haney's camp shows his training in media other than boasting his speed but we know that Haney is not like that. So, I'm convinced that they are going to use some other tricks to make sure Kambosos will lose as they are misleading the opposite camp.

I cannot think of any new strategies for Haney. He will be there and will fight smart, hit and not get hit. This is the reason why he is the favorite in this fight. He is far more skillful than George Kambosos. I cannot imagine Devin Haney capable of hurting Kambosos. Although he seems to be the stronger ang muscular man, chances are he will not try to brawl with Kambosos. Haney's knockout ratio is a bit misleading because he never scored a knockout or correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen Hany scored a knock down or at least hurt a opponent since he was elevated as the WBC champion. Meanwhile, Kambosos knockout record is underrated, he was the one scoring knockdowns against former world champions Teofimo Lopez and Mickey Bey.

Bet now for Kambosos. Grin

Kambosos has been consistent on his fights. Haney will surely have a hard time beating Kambosos this time because he seems too prepared for this. Im not underestimating Haney but I think he needs to have a deep training on how to counter Kambosos' aggressiveness in the ring.

If Kambasos isn't fast enough, then it's hard to expect that he would catch Haney and hurt him. Haney is a defensive fight, he fights with timing, not so aggressive but he calculated his move unlike Lopez who's main strategy is to be aggressive all night, that's why Kambasos caught him with some good counter, this fight is going to be different.

Haney has better foot speed but probably the same hand speed or maybe a slight advantage on Haney. But Kambosos do have better combinations. This fight is happening in Australia. I expect a referee that allow fighters to work on the inside and this favors Kambosos. And close rounds will be given to Kambosos. Haney knows all of this so he might not fight a full defensive style at all. Probably he will try to control the fight by being aggressive but smart. But it will be hard to maintain as the aggressor throughout the fight because Kambosos is the warrior type and throws punches in bunches that will force Haney to backpedal.
That is really why I'm seeing this fight very interesting because both boxers have a good record and don't have a stain on their rapsheet. I won't deny that Kambosos have some good combinations hiding in his sleeves but Haney being an aggressive one? I really don't think so.

Haney may answer those combination punches from Kambosos with some counter or combination too, but he won't go for some styles that he ain't used to. He will still go back being defensive fighter and wait for some opening as he have the reach advantage. Also, he surely knows what to do because this fight will be held in Australia where his opponent Kambosos have some advantage. I'm thinking that he'll play smartly so that this scores won't reach on the judge's hand.

There's a mega-fight waiting for whoever is gonna win this fight the Isaac Cruz - Ryan Garcia will not push through and Sean Gibbons ward Isaac Cruz wants to challenge whoever wins the fight and so is Ryan Garcia, whoever wins the fight is expected to make a lot of money because the winner will hold all the belts and the boxing fans will pay just to see a unified champion fighting just like Canelo,
I think there's a rematch clause in this fight, 1st fight will be in Kambosos' home country, and the 2nd is on Haney's home county. So if they will follow the agreement, then those who are waiting might wait for a while as a Trilogy is also possible for this fight.

I'm sure both fighter Kambosos and Haney to be motivated on this fight.
Yes because it's for " Undisputed Lightweight Title ", the biggest fight in this division.

It's looks like the voting is tie, 12 a piece. So definitely, boxing bettors are not to sure in this fight. Maybe there will be fans of Kambosos because of his huge win against Lopez or Haney because he has the ability to play defense and could survived George power early as he can turtle and try to break Kambosos mentally in this fight. So we will see, definitely an exciting match for us.
This is surely an exciting fight because people believe that it's not only a one-sided fight. Both are champions, so it's a fair match although Kambasos is the underdog per betting sites. Beating Lopez is not easy but Kambasos were able to do that, it was a bloody fight but he survive and won the fight.
Maybe majority believe that it's going to be Haney that will win but not going to be a one-sided fight since we all know how big the heart of Kambasos is. He can fight and survive, the good thing here is that we will see Haney being tested by a more aggressive fighter.
Even if Haney is the favorite according to the odds, we have seen Kambosos fight and I do not think it is going to be an easy fight for Haney, Kambosos needs to go all out and try to win from the first round, it is unlikely he will get a KO but he needs to score points from the very beginning and impress the judges, because I do not think that Haney is going be affected by his statements as he seems like a collected young man and he is not going to make the same mistakes as Lopez made.

Of course it won't be an easy fight, but it seems the bookies know the chances of Haney are good to win because of their styles. So it's more of a brawler vs a technical and defensive fighter in Haney. Kambosos might go with the KO early to test the chin of Haney if it can hold. But then Haney is known to shell when being attack to protect his chin. So it will be a good fight and this could go on 12 rounds and maybe, just maybe Haney edging out Kambosos by SD.
