And he is hitting Inoue again, and to be honest, as fans of Casimero, it's getting tired of him mentioning Inoue's name as if he can't talked within blurting out some thing against Naoya. He can criticized Inoue all he wants, but at super bantamweight he hasn't accomplished anything yet and that is a fact.

We need to see Casimero, the version of him that dominates the bantamweight division. At least we should see Casimero scoring a knock down, to make the fans excited. But there is a possibility that this fight is going to distance.

Take note that this fight is the undercard, the main event is Hiroto Kyoguchi vs Vince Paras trilogy.
I never realized that. I thought this fight was a main event because of the match poster on the OP. anyway, that is quite a drop for him. The guy really needs to prove himself if he wants Inoue's camp attention, right now he is nothing to them but a noise in the background wanting their attention.

The promoter's website tb-promotion.com as well as their social media pages indicate that Casimero vs. Sanchez will be the main event. BoxRec might be showing the fights in a different order on the event page but that isn’t always the same order they will take place on fight night. It still says a lot that Casimero could plausibly be fighting on a small, obscure promotion’s undercards at this stage. He is not far off from that level if he were to lose.

It could be co-main event. However, I believed that the main card is the Hiroto Kyoguchi vs Vince Paras trilogy because of the impact of this fight. They will have to settle the score and so this is bigger than Casimero vs Sanchez fight.

But it's good that the Japanese promoter of Casimero was able to insert him whether main or co-main card here. And I will stay and watch that trilogy too, and hopefully Paras will win here.
so I did look on tb-promotion.com website just to see what FinneysTrueVision saw and I don't think the main card is Hiroto Kyoguchi vs Vince Paras. Kyoguchi vs. Paras is the 5th fight and Casimero vs. Sanchez is the 6th fight according to the website, the last fight usually means that it is the main event fight.

@FinneysTrueVision thanks for the info you shared.

Although we know Casimero is famous, unfortunately, his ranking in the super bantamweight division isn’t that great, so this won’t be a main event. We could call this another opportunity for him to get a solid win. As he mentioned, he believes he can knock out Sanchez, so let’s see how it goes.

But if he does manage to knock him out, do you think Inoue will finally agree to fight him, or will he avoid him again?

I do agree, it's because of the name of Casimero that's why this could be a main card. But regardless though, it could be the main card if Casimero is really winning in a very impressive way, but so far, at 122 lbs, he didn't give us the show that we wanted. And for sure, others might not have followed his career before at bantamweight when he is just destroying his opponent and become a world champion. And then we just caught up with him when his name pops up as the potential mega fight for Naoya when Casimero still has the WBO belt.

He will always says that he will knockout his opponent, but again, so far, his performance is way below that what we expect from a fighter like John Riel. He is a show off, and we love him for that. However, he will have to produce a knockout win here so that his career will continue and fans wanting more fights from him.

I don't think it matters much whether it's a main event or undercard fight since it's not a major fight. However, it's good that we have a thread for it because Casimero has many fans, especially from the Philippines. Many are still calling for a fight between him and Inoue, but Casimero is fighting to improve his ranking, while Inoue is defending his title.

Do you think Casimero leaving MP Promotions was a bad decision? I've noticed that he seems to get fewer good fights now.
I think it's question how the break up happens, it could be compare to a bad divorce, as we all know that Manny Pacquiao or at least Sean Gibbons could have given Casimero a good break and they really did in my opinion. But as we have said, bad decisions after bad decisions left to what the career of Casimero right now. So we really don't know what could have happen to him if he sticks with MP. Now, he is under a Japanese promoter, he could be getting good money, however, the fights that he is getting is now what we want to see from him. And it could be true that this could be his last journey, if he lost here or another bad decision or result, his career is going to be in the stale mate. Although the good news is that once Naoya Inoue goes up in weight, Casimero might have a good chance to land one last fight to win a belt at this division.

It really doesn't matter if this is undercard or main event since what matter the most now is he get a fight since for the longest time he is vacant and his fans want to see him in action. Its not surprising that many fans call out for Inoue and Casimero fight since its like the unfinish business in the scene. But I don't think there's still a chance that this fight will happen knowing that Inoue already reach far while Casimero stuck on current situation where he is now.

Yes, Casimero leaving in MP is bad decision since with these he didn't get big fights. But guess those issues he's facing with the one who's handling the promotion make him decide to quit and as of now they are still throwing bad shades in social media so there's nothing to expect now from them.

John Riel Casimero vs. Saul Sanchez - October 13
I often watch Casimero and Sanchez in the ring, both in my assessment of Casimero and Sanchez have advantages and disadvantages, I also wonder why they have to fight 10 rounds, why not 12 rounds, as in general.
I don’t know either, maybe because in Casimero’s last fight, he was already winded before the match even ended. Just kidding. Seriously though, maybe it’s because this isn’t a championship fight but just an undercard, so it’s a bit challenging for Casimero to knock out his opponent, especially with the 10-round limit.

From some of the statistics I've seen, Casimero is superior to Sanchez, that's the record of the matches they've had, but any match could happen in the ring and vice versa, Even though they both have a match scheduled for October 13 2024, but we haven't been able to find definite odds for the two of them, I hope Casimero has a good chance to bet on.

Casimero has already been a champion, a 3-division titleholder, so he’s quite famous. He’s also become even more popular, though he has a lot of haters too because he keeps calling out Inoue, sometimes with trash talk or negative comments about Inoue’s fights.

Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!
Have you guys seen the latest video of Casimero? He looks fit and seems like he's already 100% ready to beat Sanchez. He even guarantees that he'll knock Sanchez out, so I'm looking forward to seeing him finally get an impressive win. And as usual, whenever he talks, he brings up Inoue, even criticizing him for fighting an older boxer, calling TJ Doheny the father of Paul Butler—what an insane joke!

This is new, Casimero is becoming an undercard now, which shows that his career might be going downhill. But it’s okay as long as he shows that he still has some fire left in him. As for Inoue, it seems like Casimero won't stop challenging him, and he's getting more attention because of it. He has a point, though, because they have some unfinished business in the past. There was a chance for the fight to happen, but it didn’t push through.

Casimero definitely wants to prove something. Maybe he just really wants to fight Inoue. Shouldn't we be happy that there's a Filipino willing to face the Japanese champion, while other boxers are avoiding Inoue?

if Casimero has any hope of getting a fight against Naoya Inoue, he will have to win impressively by knockout against this opponent who is coming up in weight.

If Casimero could knockout Saul Sanchez then the talks of him fighting Inoue in the future will be back again but with his recent performance i doubt he could deliver an impressive performance against a former title contender considering that Casimero has been out of the ring for almost a year, ring rust may be a factor here.

I think Saul Sanchez will win there, because Casimiro is just arrogant in the field of the boxing industry. Yes, that's my compatriot, but I don't like the fighting skills he does when he's on
top of the boxing ring.

Everything he says during his interview is very different when he is in an actual fight in the boxing ring, which is in agreement with my observation of his previous fights.

That's how he sell his fight. He need to be arrogant or cocky so that people will be triggered and have some reason to watch their fight. If he act as normal person and both of them will not create any noise on their upcoming fight also for theirselves then eventually there's huge chance that people might not notice on  that they have schedule fight to happen.

I don't know if Casimero already fix his stamina issue and if he remain careless then those kind of problem will still occur then provably that Sanchez could take advantage with this situation and make Casimero tired then get a huge chance to win. But also this is not easy task Casimero is well known strong opponent and for sure we cannot see an easy fight for Sanchez nor even say that he has great chance to win.

He is always very fit though, as he trains a lot, but lately it didn't translate to anything in the ring, he hasn't had a impressive win not like before when he can really put someone in the canvass with his power, but not in 122 lbs.

So I understand the hate of some of the fans here, even his Filipino compatriot as we haven't seen anyone as arrogant and brandish of a Filipino boxer. And up to this day, he still taunts Inoue and trash talking any fighter. I'm just thinking that if he loses to Saul Sanchez by a knockout, he could be the Broner when Maidana beat him and he was not the same before. And if that happens, at Casimero's age, I doubt that he can bring back the time and became a world champion.

He bring those critics most probably because he is running out of time in the hopes of facing Inoue.
I starting to lose my hopes for the fight to even happen, based on the last fight he had against Oguni. I mean the Japanese guy haven't fought for like 3 years.
Well, let's see if Casimero is now really in good shape and I am also hoping he improved his stamina, and last but definitely the least, he'd better knock his opponent cold under 6 rounds (the will consider a great comeback performance), otherwise Inoue won't even bother to turn his head against him lol.

I’m a Filipino but I hate Casimero attitude considering the downfall of his career due to his inactivity. He is more active on taunting rather than his boxing career because he is so full of pride even though he still didn’t beat Naoya.

I started to hate this guy when he wish to lose fellow boxer Tapales against Naoya just to bpast that he is the only one who can beat Naoya. On this match, I will go for Sanchez since Casimero training is not that intense due to his bad life style during his inactivity.

His previous match already show hint on what he is capable now.
Actually, it's legitimate because Casimero built his identity as an arrogant person, fighting Sanchez is a good move, many predict that if he wins the match (which will probably happen in October) then he will challenge Naoya to fight in the ring.
Casimero always challenges Inoue, but the big question is whether Inoue will accept the challenge. We know that Inoue is already at a high level, and the only way Casimero would be able to fight him is if he becomes a mandatory opponent, which, based on his current standing, he isn't qualified for yet.

What Casimero needs and must do now is just prepare himself as best as he can because defeat in this match will make it difficult for him to gain the confidence to challenge Naoya later.
I'm sure he is prepared for the upcoming fight, though he doesn't seem to be in his usual peak shape. Still, I believe he will win, but as to how, I'm not entirely sure.
