There's bad news for Casimero, The bad news is Casimero is banned by the Japan Boxing Commission for not reaching the weight on his recent fight This is the standard rules on Japan even if its not a title fight, so he will only be allowed to fight in Japan next year in April.
That's a crazy rule, is there any other boxing commission in some parts of the world that has the same rules as them? Not reaching the weight requirement should just be it and won't allow to get into the fight but banning for several months to fight into their jurisdiction, I think it's the first time hearing that type of rule. But that's them and their rule.

The good news is its only in Japan; he can still fight elsewhere.
I think with this all his hopes to fight Inoue immediately will not materialize, As we all know, Inoue only fight in Japan, he really needs a conditioning coach to manage his weight to avoid this, no promoter or organization will take it lightly if you cannot make a weight.
Who's the next prospect that Casimero is able to fight before Inoue? That's true about Naoya, he's not going to fight outside Japan and that's his tactic that's hard to break but even so, I think that the time will come that he'll be down by someone in his hometown.

If it were not for the weight issue, I could have called this fight a perfect come back fight for Casimero, He is so cool and so usual, like the old Casimero I just knew after the first knock down that it was going to be over, Casimero is an excellent finisher once he hits you hard, and he smells blood He is relentless in his attack he is good at counter punch.
Well, Casimero will continue to dare Inoue, and he has a bragging right to do that, With this fight, he just silenced the bashers Cheesy.

Cheesy yeah , the way he fought , was so cool and intense he was really fast without given any room for Sanchez to think or to react back . But Inoue is still another ace in the ring too , base on Inoue record he has never lose any match , because base on his record he had fight up to 28 match , with 28 wins and 25 KOs . And that's is a nice streak also , Casimero and Inoue fight would be epic , because both fighters are really good .

As for Inoue, with this win, I don't see him interested, on the contrary, they might stay away from him because they can have the excuse that Casimero might not going to make the weight again or they already have someone in Sam Goodman this December and that they will move up in weight.

Just very sorry for Casimero that after a big showing, he still can't get the chance to face the Monster.
If he’s not interested in fighting him, there are plenty of excuses he can make. If it were a championship fight, Casimero not making the weight would work in their favor, they’d take the win easily, and Inoue wouldn’t risk his first loss. Let’s be real, he’s just scared because they know Casimero has been a tough opponent for a while now. Ever since Casimero beat Tete, they’ve been terrified.

I do not think that Inoue is scared, he has fought the best of 118 lbs and 122 lbs, it's that they have their own plans now and they are going to stick by it. If Casimero could have showed this kind of impressive win before, maybe they camp of Inoue will be interested. He has nothing to bring in the table though, as he never reached the level at this weight class that he had when he was the bantamweight champion.

So for this win, this is the first time that he had show us that he still has the power at super bantamweight, although we can say that his opponent is not that well-known that's why it was a easy fight for him. I also read that this is the last fight of Casimero under the Japanese manager, not sure if this is true or not as I can't find anything that will back this claim.

Casimero was never on their plan; they never mentioned and do not entertain topics about facing Casimero, after Goodman they will go up; that was the plan ever since; maybe they will meet in the featherweight division or maybe they will not, If you look at it, Inoue missed a chance to fight a fighter who was a three-time division champion who has been undefeated for 7 years and who is the only boxer who dares to insult him, besides Donaire there's no boxer that comes close to Casimero.

He can move on and become a four-division champion or an undisputed champion, the way he fights, he just needs a condition coach to manage his weight, and he is on his way to a lot of great fights, and he can always boast that Inoue is afraid of fighting him and enjoy doing  Cheesy.

No more "next time" for easy opponents,,..this was already a tough fight for Casimero based on the betting odds. In his other fights, he was heavily favored, but not this one. I think the next matchup will be Casimero and Inoue in the ring, maybe early next year.

And he is calling out Inoue now,

Casimero crushes Sanchez in first round, dares ‘Monster’

It seems Casimero has a bit of a cocky side, saying he’ll train harder if he fights Inoue in a championship bout. That kind of implies he didn’t train as hard for his fight against Saul Sanchez, which he still won by 1st round TKO.  Grin

Lol, but yeah, that's what Casimero is, so brandish and arrogant inside and outside the ring, did you see him doing the one arm push up after that big win? He had to work first with his weight though, I can't remember how many times he missed the weight, so it really looks unprofessional on his side.

That was a very impressive win indeed for Casimero, he was really looking forward to meet Inoue at the ring soon as he delivers a great result for this fight and this will give him a ticket for the Inoue fight.
A 1st round TKO—that was seriously impressive! I read that Casimero was even using thicker gloves and still managed to knock his opponent down. He’s definitely a big threat to Inoue, and that’s probably why Inoue keeps making excuses to avoid him.

Now, I think the hype will be once again be revived as Casimero fought like a champion once again.
I think, they might get Casimero another match a tougher opponent this time before they will get him to fight with Inoue to sell the fight even more.

For sure fans of Casimero and the Philippines are very happy to see their very own John Riel winning this fight very easy. I mean he had been in controversial fight when he moves up to 122 lbs. But now it seems that he is back with vengeance, a knockout win, or a referee stoppage win.

This is enough for now for Casimero to be still in the hunt for world title. For me he should be keeping the name of Naoya Inoue from his mouth. Fans wanted to see them inside the ring, but I do not think that Bob Arum is going to risk his cash cow. As I check, he is rank almost in all division, so if Naoya move up, then the all the belts will be open and then that will be his chance again to regain a belt.
I wonder what Inoue is saying or feeling right now.
Will he again dodge him, and instead fight weaker opponents? Or he will give an opportunity to fight him instead.

I will not be surprised if these 2 fighters will fight against each other next year as long as there will be no hindrance on the side of Casimero. It's been a while since he fought inside the ring, so this is a good "Welcome Back" fight for him. That fight is I think a one-sided match from the start. The problem that I see though is Casimero being overweight during the weigh-ins. I mean that could ruin his opportunity for a title fight if he will not take care of himself including his weight. A well-deserved win, and I expect more fights from him next year as he comes back.

Even if they had equal weight when they fought, Casimero's opponent wouldn't stand a chance. Casimero showed incredible power he's the type who once he gets the upper hand on his opponent, will try to finish it as quickly as possible, even in Round 1 if he can like this fight. I remember the fight between Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell; if Campbell had fought like Casimero did in this fight, pouring all his strength into knocking down his opponent, Campbell might have won against Ryan Garcia.

We can't be very sure about Casimero though. We know his past skills, but right now, we can't underestimate the opponent. Because sometimes, the preparation and training are significant inside the ring. Hopefully, Casimero will be very professional and follow whatever rules he needs to comply. Otherwise, he will be going farther away from other top boxing professionals like Inoue.

That was a great performance by Casimero. Congratulations to him and all those who bet on him! But, yeah, he and his team will have to be more professional next time. Time isn't on his favor. He needs to fight more often to finally face the big guys, but being late in the weigh-in, failing to make weight, and so on could give him a bad image. Better fights might elude him as a result.

I hope Casimero will have at least 3 fights next year and be victorious to finally get juicier match-ups. Sanchez, who doesn't even have a winning streak prior to this match, in a 10-rounder isn't redemption yet for John Riel.

It’s fortunate that Quadro Alas finished Saul Sanchez in just one round. If the fight had lasted several rounds, I believe Casimero might have lost due to conditioning issues. He failed to make weight because his team lacks a professional strength and conditioning coach. I hope they hire one for future fights.

Nonetheless, congrats to Casimero for a job well done.

Its still a perfect comeback fight of Casimero imagine he finish Saul so early that really indicates that he's a monster. Some people though that Casimero is in bad side knowing that he got weight issue, But despite of those challenges he manage to come with big revenge.

I don't see this kind of performance from here from his last fight. But now we can see that he's hungry for big fights and provably that after this win he could able to get more big fights and hopefully one of this fight is against Inoue.

Now that he won a flawless victory like that for sure another call out against Inoue will happen. This taunting will never stop not unless we can see them fighting. The legacy of Inoue will not be sealed if he continue to avoid Casimero so I guess its better for their Inoue's camp to listen to what fans like to happen to see who's stronger between Casimero and Inoue.

Do you think though that he can go up to 126 lbs? He will be smaller in that weight class, but I reckon he can give the fans a good fight if he is match on someone that is a natural featherweight. So let's see, he still wants to chase Inoue, but I do not see Arum giving his prize fighter on Casimero. They've for sure nervous when Inoue goes down against Nery, and so they are taking it lightly for Inoue's next fight so that their plan of him fighting in the US will not be derailed by anyone, specially not Casimero.

I don’t think Arum or Inoue regard Casimero highly enough to consider him a serious threat. Casimero has been under the radar for a while and can’t be relied upon to make weight. Those circumstances make him a long shot candidate. If he had been better managed and better disciplined in these last several years the fight would have already happened long ago.

At 35, the weight cut might be too difficult for him to remain at this weight, but he is less likely to win a title at featherweight. He is in need of a nutritionist and an experienced promoter to figure out the best path to take. Treasure Boxing has done the best they could but it is not enough anymore. They should partner with a bigger company to co-promote Casimero or just release him so he can find bigger opportunities elsewhere.

^^ It's different though when you can't make the weight, obviously you will have all the advantage, but Sanchez is wise, he wanted heavier gloves and there is a rehydration clause. But in any case, when everyone writing off Casimero as a boxer with no discipline, he comes back, beat his opponent very bad that he put him in queer street in just one round.

Now, he silenced them with this big win, however, it might not be enough for him to get the Inoue sweepstakes. Inoue is getting wise now, he wants a easy fight this December before moving up in weight so a play safe fight for him.

The fight was fast and intense Casimero didn't even Sanchez any chance he kept on rushing him , despite the age difference Casimero was literally dominating and overwhelming Sanchez was a pretty good fight and I knew all along that Casimero was going to win lol . He has add up to his win and KO stats

I don't think that Inoue is making excuses, but it could be his promoter, specially his Top Rank that doesn't want him to fight John Riel because the Filipino is very dangerous. And we have seen two fights wherein age doesn't really matter, Beterbiev winning at 39 years old and then Casimero with a spectacular knockout at age 35 years old.
Inoue is considered a money maker or cash cow for his promoters and they believe he's just starting out and they need to protect their interest and Casimero has been known to be as good at upsetting heavy favorites, just like what he did against Tete but they cannot ignore the call of the boxing community.
Inoue is moving out of the division, and Casimero cannot keep up with the weight, there's a possibility that they will meet in another division, Inoue will continue to get haunted by Casimero's name just like what Benavidez to Canelo.
