I predict, if Pacman wins, he declares that he will be running for the presidency of the Philippines, if he is not the winner I reckon he will run only for the vice presidency hehehe. Running for office is also another method those politicians do to make money because much of the money for campaigns is not accounted for. This is the business of politics hehehe.

I've said this before and I agree to this. But win or lose Manny will run for the highest office. The money he get from this fight will be added to his campaign budget. Taking them back won't be a problem IF he wins the election.

This match is crucial for Manny as It could end his career. If he comes out victorious, he won't make an announcement of his retirement until he win the election.

.. and there's a hoax that if Manny Wins or lose the match he will not retire because of ageing too and we know he is already a senator also to serve the country.

I considered that not a hoax because there's still no plan for him, even giving a hint that he will retire soon.

Win or lose, he will still fight and more desire to fight again if he loses since he will demand a rematch to have a good exit and that's what he does when he is after a loss.

The only way for him to retire this year is if he will run for President and win it. There's no other way.

In this, I will become bias because of Manny Pacquiao we all know that he is one of the most reputable boxers all over the world and also he is representing our country Philippines. We all know that Manny got too many matches and experience and there's a hoax that if Manny Wins or lose the match he will not retire because of ageing too and we know he is already a senator also to serve the country.
We all know that Pacquiao is one of the legends. But we cannot ignore how good the records are of Errol Spence Jr.

He got no-lose then 21 KOs from 27 overall matches and wins.

Yes, but for now, Pacquiao and his team shouldn't bother themselves with that lawsuit. They need to focus on this big fight on the table, just a week from now, everything should be perfect, training should be unwinding by now as he don't want to overtrain himself and then followed by a strict nutritional diet to make the weight in the weigh-in Saturday.

All that's bothering Pacquiao have stopped the lawsuits the political squabbling, so much at stake here for Pacquiao, if he wins it will have a huge impact on his political ambition, this could well be his last fight as he is not getting younger and he has other goals outside of boxing, I'm hoping he'll win this fight and not get hurt, there's still so much left for Pacquiao in other fields where his country can benefit, whatever the outcome Pacquiao is a rare breed in boxing.

Well thats true, if ever he win it will be an advantage not only on his boxing career but also for his motive to run for the next election. Some people are not looking for a person's capability to be suited for the particular position but more on the popularity, thus if you're a known person here (actors, athletes or influencers) there's a high chance to win if ever they run in politics. Anyway I bet this would be the last fight for Manny if he pursue his political ambition to run for a higher position.

Just some update on the lawsuit against Pacquiao:

Quote
The former eight-division champion was deemed free and clear to move forward with his upcoming challenge of unified WBC/IBF welterweight titlist Errol Spence Jr. A motion filed by Paradigm Sports and its founder/combat sports manager Audie Attar to block the upcoming title fight was rejected Friday by the Orange County Superior Court. The ruling—while not outright dismissing the breach of contract lawsuit filed with the same court— allows Pacquiao and Spence to move forward with their August 21 title fight, which will air live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

So it means the fight with Spence is a go, but it doesn't mean that his case is voided already. Maybe the judge is a Pacquiao fans that's why he rule in favor of Manny.  Grin. But in any case, at least this is a good news and we all know that the fight is going to happen 100%.

It will go against the ethics of the judge on allowing the fight to progress just because he is a fan of Manny. Probably there is a merit on the table that's why he didn't block the Pacquiao vs Spence.

Yeah, I know, I'm just toying with that idea, for sure those sports judges are somewhat a big fan as well.  For sure he has check everything before handling that big decision.

And after the fight, then they go back to the drawing table, Pacquiao and his defense team, but with the latest ruling, I think the case might be thrown out in the window by the judge. So a win-win for Pacquiao.

That is not a bad price considering it costs $75 to watch the fight in the US. With the huge purses the fighters are making the cost gets passed down to the customer but the downside to charging so much is that many people will just opt to stream the fight illegally.
With some few searches away, they'll see those streamers that are illegally doing it.

But don't support those if you're capable of purchasing to watch through PPV. You know that you're part and contributor why boxing keeps going and those PPV won't be out since there are many that still watches through it.

Spence has fully recovered, that crash happen a long time ago, he is fully healthy now and he can fight toe to toe against any opponent. In fact, people believe that he is the stronger fighter here, hence making him the favorites, and that's enough confirmation that he is back as a champion.

Sure. I don’t think that incident has any consequences for Spence now. In general, athletes throughout their sports careers go through cycles of body recovery from past loads/injuries, and some kind of unplanned cycle does not have any serious significance.
Does anyone follow the odds from the bookmakers? They seem to have stopped changing in the last days.
That incident was happened years ago, I’m pretty sure Spence already recovered from that and now focusing on his own trading. I saw a lot of social media post about Pacquiao training, he’s very active now and ready to fight in the next 2 weeks. The ticket price sky rocketed already, its pretty expensive as usual and the odds is still the same. This could be an exciting match, Pacquiao have to win or retire at a loss.

Some high rollers are willing to pay about $40k to get seat in the ring side. That's what from ESNews was asking about Manny here in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW9TzjiMAAc, as he was hearing the price is already skyrocketing to that value. Indeed, many are still excited to see him fight. Who knows it will be his last fight before his retirement?

Its not surprising that many  people still want to see Pacquaio fight since he's still a great fighter and alrrady gained he's legendary status. For sure the action what he can provide to his audiences is what rich guys want to see him that's why they afford to buy those expensive seats just to make sure that they watch the fight closely. But I dom't think this is the last fight of Pacquaio if he wins this match since for sure he will find new opponent since Pacquaio didn't release a statement about retirement.

I also saw that Video so there’s a live audience on this match which is good so they can cheer to their bets. This is expected on Manny match, all the ring side tickets are expensive since then so there’s nothing new here, the pay per view are expensive as well, you can try to watch this on free tv instead. The fight is near already, can’t wait to see them fighting, my bet is also with Manny.

Here are the undercards of this big fight.

https://nyfights.com/announcements/undercard-announced-in-support-of-pacquiao-vs-spence-jr-ppv/

Quote
WBA Welterweight World Champion Yordenis Ugás will square off against Argentina’s Fabián “TNT” Maidana in the co-main event, while former world champions and all-action brawlers Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero and “Vicious” Víctor Ortiz will meet in a 10-round welterweight duel. Kicking off the pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, unbeaten featherweight contender Mark Magsayo battles former world champion Julio Ceja in a 10-round attraction.

We have good fighters in the undercard, this day should be an entertaining day and I'm sure I'll lock into this fight.
I have not availed of the PPV subscription yet but I'm sure I will.

The undercard seems underwhelming. For an event of this magnitude people will tune in because of the main event so it doesn't make much of a difference if they put unknown or washed up fighters. If we get a competitive and entertaining undercard fight it will just be a bonus.

I like the co-main event though, Ugas vs Maidana, two hard nose fighters. Ugas vs Porter was a good fight but he lost. While Maidana is the younger brother of Marcos, who we all know has dynamite hands during his prime.
I was thinking this is Marcos Maidana like the one who almost beat Mayweather and toyed Bronner in their fight. lol.
I hope this young fight will be like his brother, aggressive and not afraid of anyone in the ring.

But yeah, two wash up fighters Guerrero vs Ortiz. But all eyes is on Magsayo, one of the best Filipino prospect that will carry the flag for the Philippines when Manny retires.
Still a good match, I guess the two undercards looks like the main card, so it's a great attraction for the certain big event.

Not sure strength has anything to do but Errol Spence is young and many are doubting whether Manny Pacquiao has slowed down considering he is 42 years of age, but if he fights the same as he used to do in the past and his foot movements are quick like the past then Errol Spence will be having a hard time and even in a situation if the fights goes to the decision i think the upper hand goes to Errol Spence because he is from the US and considering outside fighters get any chance when it goes to the judges  Grin.

@Kemarit. Hehehe it would be an easy decision for him. Also, who would not want to witness a great fight between 2 of the best boxers. I am not saying Mikey Garcia is not a good boxer, however, Errol Spence has 2 belts. It would be good for the sport of boxing whoever the winner. If Spence, there will be a unification between him and Terrence Crawford. Pacman wins, we witness the Tom Brady of boxing win again hehehehe.
