It will not be settled right away, it might take time as this is a lawsuit against Manny Pacquiao for breaching a contract but this issue is already over, people are already tired of discussing it, instead, they focus on the politics and what's happening now about this fight.

I am not quite certain on the state of politics in the Philippines, however, I am very certain that governments of 3rd world countries are very widespread in corruption from the bottom to the top. It might not be provable but this does not suggest that it is not there.

In any case, if Pacman’s trust rating is declining then this victory versus Spence on August 21 is very much needed for him. The purse might also be needed to fund his campaign hehehehe.

I am not sure whether Pacquiao would spend any of his personal wealth on the presidential campaign. Campaign funds are usually sourced from the public and the corporates. There have been exceptions, and one example is during the 2016 US presidential election when Donald Trump spent a lot of his own personal wealth on the campaign. Also, I don't think that the outcome of his fight against Errol Spence Jr will have any impact on the presidential race. He is already a well known figure in the Philippines and he don't need any such boost.

I reckon first 6 rounds will be for Manny the other 6 will depend on his conditioning which does not improve with age.

I wasnt aware that Pacquiao is out of the ring for 2 years which we dont know if he had made out some body conditioning or something like that on that particular time.

Not sure if Manny can beat his trust ratings even if he win against Spence here.

He is already on the opposition side, no that is already a big disadvantage for him. The drop was obviously due to his recent corruption allegations on the current administration. And it didn't sit well with Duterte and his followers that why they insinuated a lot in the social media and troll Manny. But step aside politics, if he 'upset' Spence his popularity about the boxing community grow, he is already a legend and this win will cement his position even further, but I'm not sure if the win will change the Filipino's mind on voting him in the election.

I will bet 2 is to 10, he won't. Politics in the Philipines is not anymore about popularity, they had already elected the president that majority wants, and he has a very high trust rating, higher than any president of the Philippines I guess.

Pacquioa just have to focus on this fight, win this fight and he will start thinking wisely about whether he will run for presidency or not.

Well, that is expected of him --he will surely resign from his boxing career once he got his Presidency, I can't imagine the president of the Philippines was in a boxing court having a match, sounds not good to me. This is why his trust rating declines and disapproval rating goes up because people no longer believe his statement that he dedicates his fight for his country but the truth is, he is fighting for his self-interest.

Before entering politics, Manny is a beauty to watch whenever he fights, even a not-so-hardcore boxing fan could appreciate his boxing style.
